Mom seems to have fairly bad psychiatric problems. These children are in true danger. No one is really taking care of their basic needs.
I agree. She will make bad decisions regardless, but her mental health problems are exacerbating the problems. I do believe she's depressed. A depressed mind makes horrible decisions.
Very sad and unfortunate situation for the children and it seems to me the daughter quit dreaming and lost hope. I know children often display depression differently than adults. I hope the children can get help, not just with material things, but also for their own mental health, security and safety. I get the feeling that the mother is not telling the whole story. I see a lot of avoidance in her body language.
The young girl definitely seems depressed with no hope. It doesn't sound like she wants to go to school at all either. She needs friends and human contact. It wouldn't surprise me if she has s@x abuse issues too being around all those drunk men and strangers. Those children should not be with the mom at all. I wish the aunt would take them again.
My opinion. Mam needs to go to a mental hospital. But most important the children need to live in a good stabel home fore ever. The girl. I did not hear her age. But I think 15 years. But she talk like a old tired woman. She needs desperate medical help. Mental help and a very stabel home.

@Lyn4Him Adding to, what you said, girl is in freeze state. If/when she will be realis from mum's to more favorable circumstances, she will blossom instantly (it is because of better live experience in grandmother's/auntie's houses). Help here is needed immediately.
I grew up in children's homes as my mum was just like this woman going through life with different men and not caring about her kids she only worries about herself and getting money to waste on drink as for massages whose kidding who she means prostitution the best thing would be for these 2 children to be removed to somewhere safe you can only do your best sergei but don't give this lady money as she will drink it and those poor kids will be left alone contact authority who can help the innocent children
I see what's happening early on. If she goes to school, then there's no one to watch the younger child, and mom is certainly not going to do it, and not going to be able pay someone else to do it. In the US, the mother would be brought up on charges and the children would be put in foster homes. Sad situation.

@@lethalviolet that's not why 'everyone has gone to homeschooling' lol. i say this as a stay at home, homeschooling mother to 5. my kids have never had to take care of eachother like this, not even a single diaper change. also homeschooling regulations are a thing in most states, and different states have different rules and goals that a child must meet to be considered fit for homeschooling. like some states have tests that a child would take 1, 2 or 3 times a year to see how they're progressing. the amount of testing differs from state to state but there are a few states with no regulations.
Homeschoolers are by and large loving parents protecting their kids from brainwashed liberal teachers who want kids to be confused and think they can be 52 different sexes. American schools are not fit for kids. They just aren't.
Children in the U.S. Foster care system end up in worse homes then ones they were taken from CPS is the worlds largest child trafficking organization on earth. Children are place in homes with inadequate care. many children go missing from foster care and deaths go unreported as well as placed in homes where there is domestic abuse and sex offenders, they get away with this because the adults who provide the care are the only ones listed on the paper work. the children are not treated same as the foster parents treat their own, they spend as little on them as possible. and the staff in group homes abusing teens is out of control. Bad example for a better solution because charging parents and taking the children isn't best for the children when trafficked thru the system. Why not use the money to either allow family members step in when possible and teach parent's to care for the children and or get them help they need. there's no magic solution. but to call CPS. bad Idea if you live in the states. My ex's neice lost her children to CPS her youngest was adopted and sent to Florida from Texas. She was about 6 and was beat abused and sexually assaulted by her adopted family. She was returned to Texas after being taken from the adopted family in Florida. Then she was placed in another foster home where she died. Had a friend who was a foster parent and one of the few good ones who adopted to foster children the Dr's and hospitals and CPS believed would die they were so malnourished and neglected when they received them. they were to just comfort them until they passed away the first one was a boy they got at age 2. Her and her husband took turns staying up holding him and taking care of him around the clock. He pulled through and lived. Then a few years later the little boys mom had a baby girl. My friend and her husband got a call and asked if they would foster the little baby about a month old her prognosis wasn't good they expected her to pass within 24hours. So they took her home and took care of her the same as they had her brother. Mother had 5 children all living with family members prior to the 2 she had. When her husband died of cancer their adopted son 15 at the time took it really hard and ran away from home. He was very close to his adopted dad, she called him in as missing because she was really worried, the same people who trusted her and her husband to take in and Foster children who was on their death beds with little to no hope. told her if she couldn't control the son 15 years old then they didn't think she could care for the daughter who was 11 and hadn't ran away and was with her mom, my friend. State took her kept her placed her in a foster home where she was raped got pregnant by the foster dad the state covered up and lied about the baby born while her daughter was in their care, before returning her to her mom. It was confirmed by a Dr that the 13 year old had been pregnant, the dr couldn't confirm a living child but the daughter said she knew her baby was alive she heard it cry she begged to see but the nurses and dr's wouldn't let her. and what about all the missing children in Ohio lately. And the 800 missing and dead children in the 1990's in Florida that CPS never told the parents and kept the secrete and covered it up for years? and you think The U.S. Child Protection Service is some how superior? They take children without court orders or due process of law for god sake. why would you wish that on any child? SMFH. California Child Protection Service ran a campaign removing children from single mom's in the 60's, I was one of those children along with my siblings when our parents got a divorce. Our dad found out and he went to court to get custody of 3 of us and 2 of my siblings went to 2 different homes. My dads 2nd wife was abusive and very sadistic and vengeful. And do You know what it's like to grow up wonder where your brother and baby sister are? if they were dead or alive? I was 4 and not once did i forget them. The next time I got to see my brother again when I was 16 and then when I was 17 got to see my baby sister for the first time since she was 6 months old. Rip a family apart for the good of who?
I get these children need help and even this mom seems to need some help. Sad as it is. Placing children from one bad situation into another isn't the answer. From watching this channel seems this world has same issues no matter what they call the mass of dirt we all stand on. Maybe a better solution be a Family Mentor because mom is a mess and manipulating her daughter using guilt trips. Maybe even using the children as a meal ticket. But there were things showing she's not all bad. the Children and apartment looked clean. I think help is needed and more then that love to heal their broken hearts, they need love so if family members or some family Mentor them, while they get help, show them how to better interact may keep them together as well as learn together how to be a better family if at all possible.
I still get triggered by people like you who's first solution is to put everyone thru the hell of court and cps and ripping families apart without a thought to the consequences or the further harm to the children's lives and mental well being.

Those children deserve to be children and get an education. That young girl shouldn't have to worry about being let alone with her brother, much less a strange man who drinks. I fear greatly for her safety. Her mother cares only for herself and should have left her daughter with her aunt. But the mother cares only about getting the money. Yes, the daughter is there so the 'mother' can collect the child support, and the daughter is also a live-in nanny for the younger child. Sad!

This is not the story of a Russian family.. it's the story of an international family.. in the US, in France, in Germany, Japan, Brazil, India, all over the world. In these families the parents are only interested in themselves, they have money to buy cigarettes by the carton, to buy booze by the gallon, but no money to buy food, clothing and other essentials for their family. Thankfully there are people like Sergei who will help.

In this case, it's russian family. However the issue is very present internationally and it needs to be addressed without using excuse of "safety" to postphone help for the most vulnerable.

I know just how that poor girl feels and she needs help now. Having no hope anymore will negatively impact her choices in life and she, and her brother deserve a happy, safe future. Can't wait for the sequel where we'll get to see that Kira & Kolya will both get the help they need & are enjoying their new living surroundings with new care givers. At least I hope that's what the next episode of them will be.

The mother can not take care of them. She I don’t think will ever be able to take care of them. This is so sad, she has be pushing those children onto other people all their lives. She has known no responsibility for them, she is too deeply into her disease and too in denial that I think the drugs have literally effected her brain and she has put her children in danger many, many times. I am not worried about death for the mother, it is physical, rape or death of those innocent children.

I feel so sorry for these children. Do they have a child protection service there that could help them?
Kira obviously needs her asthma meds, and she and her young brother Kolya need new clothes and shoes. The children have to be in school. Their mother is a totally unreliable parent, no need to say more. I feel sorry for these kids. Can they go back to live with their aunt so they can continue their education and, hopefully, have a better future?
They need to maintain basic cleanliness to start. We can donate money for clothing. The mother will take the clothes and re-sell them. How can we help
I know how this girl must feel. These children should be taken to a better family to grow up properly, safe and happy. This mother is clearly mentally ill, and is totally focused on herself. She even admitted that she has psychological problems, takes drugs, drinks alcohol and spends her time with losers and alcoholics. Considering the fact that this is going for many years, the children should be taken away from the mother.

Hi S thank you once again for your video. I really feel sorry for these vaunrable children. They are at high risk for sexual preditors in this environment. I really feel these children need to be removed to safely as quickly as possible until mum can get help. I feel she is very unwell and needs help herself quickly. Living with substance abuse is very traumitizing, as we all well know, once a family is dysfunctioning it is only the slow slide on down into hopelessness and desperation where one and ones loved ones are frozen; trapped in a situation of our own making, and the shame prevents anyone from confessing theyre want or need. Thank You Sergi for all you do. How you create a space for people to reach out of their depravity and find your light to lead them to a way to a path of safety and recovering.

Mother is not a user. Daughter said that mum drinks only when she is with this man. And without him she does not drink.
The kids need help foremost. Mamma has serious mental health issues and is a pathological liar. The older kid needs to get out of this situation and make the best of her life. Her mamma has got her cornered now taking care of the little one.
In my opinion it would not matter how much you help this mother nothing would change. Any money given would be spent on what she wanted, not for the good of the whole family. Her priority appears to be to find a man to support her so she does not have to work, so far she has made many bad choices. She is self-centered and has got away with neglecting her children for many years. I am not saying she does not require some sympathy because of her childhood, but changing her way of thinking would be a difficult job as she does not appear to have a genuine bond with her children. They need to be supported somehow.
I agree graceperry2623. What stands out to me is I see the mom doesn't seem to go without. There's money for alcohol, makeup etc. Appears to have nice clothes. All the while her poor daughter has nothing,not even the medication she badly needs, and surely her son would have benefited more from a toy rather than a cat, which probably exacerbates her daughter's asthma?and of course needs taking care of. The mom is selfish and self-centred, who readily focuses on the shortcomings of her own childhood, whilst ignoring the awful circumstances she repeatedly puts her own children through.
It would be good if the children could live with the aunt. This mother doesn't deserve them.

The daughter is sinking into a I•give•up attitude, depression. She won't care to go to school wo a push. The boy is shut off & his cat h is only friend. No one leaves the home except Mom. No food food for 2 days for 9 told & a baby? You Could get them clothes but Mom will get a profit somehow. Roma, the man is not good. Maybe he helps now but he's not reliable or responsible to the family. This is a stinking mess.

More likly she is an addict at some kind. Just look at the conversations she is trying to make a point. She says she wants to work (but does she really?)

I have a stepson, whose mother is similar. She was not trustworthy and on a first look she was a smooth talker too ( As I could encounter her on some occasions) besides the drugs and alcohol, she lived with her mother because she coulnt get her life straight.
I feel so much pain with the daughter. No dreams = depressed, helpless, frustrated and maybe even angry but she learned to survive with this person, thats what kids do. Hope you can help them (I dont think helping the mother is a good idea)

I wish these children can get re-housed into a better environment. Where the both of them attend school like regular children do. I think the mother is intentionally keeping the girl out of school so that she's forever dependent on her. And by having her home, she can see about her younger sibling. In the meantime, mom is out having a good time. There's always a reason for keeping people from getting educated and it usually involves making them dependent in some way or form. That's why slave masters wouldn't allow their slaves to be schooled or even learn how to read. I know it's a harsh example but it's a good example.

I think Mom came the closest to what she does for work as she could admit, when she said she gives massage. I doubt it is sport massage, but massage parlor type massage and that is why the jobs don’t last. She does get a job, but not a regular job. That is my opinion.
As your channel becomes better known all around the world Sergei, it is inevitable that some people will see you as the 'fairy godmother', there to grant wishes and pursue you purely for what they can get from you financially. Of course you then owe it to those who are donating money, to spend those donations very wisely and with due caution. Scammers are all around us. The story of this family isn't coming over as 100% genuine. I don't buy into most of it. While the children cannot be blamed, they may well be being manipulated by the mother. She's the only person I know who got tuberculosis from stress! And met her cohabitant how long ago? Frankly I got so fed up with her whole 'pity me' story that I had to fast forward past it. Tread carefully!

I am a single mother of two (I’m now 60/son40/daughter33)… like this person I do not trust her. The mother could be manipulating the children. But I don’t think so here… right now.
The apathy of the daughter is absolutely gut wrenching.
She has zero faith & trust in people. And she’s a smart one! She actually realized that her mother was using her as a babysitter for the benefits of 2 children!! She also realized that her mother tricked her into believing that she truly cared but just couldn’t be there for them. This made her the ‘santa clause’ with the presents. After she moved in with mother she realized that love is what her aunt & grandmother was giving her.

Maybe not TB but chronic lung conditions are very common with severe stress and especially shutting in. Agoraphobia is also a symptom of severe abuse it sounds like both the mother and daughter are inside a lot. Can assume the mother wont hold a job but she is also struggling with a drunk boyfriend which and she isn't understanding his behavior is unacceptably bad.
Sergei knows what he's doing. He's quite intuitive, knows what's going on.
Don't think he'd be fooled by the mother in any way. He sees through her :) Trust that. I've followed him for quite awhile, and he's very intuitive. Genuine or not..he can see right through the mother. We all can. She's a story teller. And he's no stranger to that. Pretty sure he's well aware of every situation he's in. And regardless of the irresponsible parent, he's there for the children.
Have all confidence and faith that he knows what he's doing. If people are sincere or not. He's not naive.

I am a single father with a 12yo boy and 15yo daughter, their mother left me for my younger brother. I am on government assistance and cannot work anymore because of a back injury and health issues. I'm not looking or asking for sympathy, I love my children and they love me and they don't need anything. I don't drink or do drugs, I stopped smoking. I donate here when I have some spare money. I think if there is a Children's social services in Russia someone needs to call them. I also think the mom is a narcissistic, pathological lier.
How about contacting the Aunt and supporting her if she can take the children? It would be much better than placing them with strangers.

The sad thing is that these people will always be in a bad situation and it's like pouring money down an endless black hole. They will never come right. So very sad.
These children need to be rescued from this useless mother! The only reason she took her daughter back was to get a babysitter for her son. Anything you give these kids will be taken away or sold or lost because of the lifestyle of their mother. In my opinion, these children need a safe place to live where the daugher has her proper asthma medication and can attend school and where the little boy has appropriate care and attends school as well. Mostly they need to get away from this mother - she is ruining their lives.

That young girl is not having a childhood. She has been given all the responsibilities of an adult, while her mother, lives her life without any. Something needs to be done to help these children, I wouldn't even leave the cat with her!
This is so sad. Cycles of trauma seriously have affected the lives of these people. My heart goes out to these beautiful children who have to live daily in survival mode. Both the children need to be in school or daily care outside the home. Perhaps there are relatives that could help give these kids the trustworthy love they need. But the kids definitely are at great risk here.

I was shocked as I watched this episode. The adult female is not a mother. A mother would never treat her children like she does. She uses the daughter to be a baby sitter for the little boy. Its a pity there are no other adults with in the family where they could live safely. Unless the daughter goes back to school she may end up like her so called mother. Vasya I live in Australia and follow a chap called Alex Gilbert. He comes from Russia but was bought up by a New Zealand family. He found his birth family and now helps other kids find their birth parents. If International adoption was still an option these kids would have been better being adopted and living in a loving household.
Wow that was tough to watch. That mother needs some counseling for the rest of her life whatever the reason is she's sabotaging her children's livelihood. Those two children need stability immediately .
I'm reminded of the story you told a few weeks ago, of the wonderful mother with the three disabled children. The difference in the two mothers' is like night and day.

Those kids need to be taken into care. Their mother can't tell the truth, or just completely avoids answering. Your best bet would be to see if the auntie will take her and Kolya back in, get them away from a mother who truly doesn't care what happens to her kids.
In my opinion, the only thing that will truly help these children is getting them say from that woman who calls herself mom. If you give her money, it won't go to benefit those kids. If you buy the kids something, she'll probably sell it. She's a very selfish person and a horrible mother!! I'm disgusted! Kira is a good girl! How on earth can she have had tuberculosis? I didn't think Russia was a third world country, that it couldn't vaccinate its citizens. This is surprising to find this out. In Australia everyone gets vaccinated at ages 12/13.

These children need to be removed from their mother as soon as possible. What a dreadful, sad and dangerous life they have! Both kids need education, stimulation, love, predictable routines and safety. They have lost hope. Perhaps the aunt is able to take them again. Does Russia have foster care or social assistance? Giving assistance to the mother is not going to help her or the kids. The situation is heartbreaking.
May those around you allow themselves to not only watch but also take part in continuing on these heart warming selfless acts of serving those who are in desperate need !!
Hi Sergei, these kids are in danger and should be removed. Smoking and having a cat around her daughter who has asthma could be life threatening when she has an attack. I doubt her mother would get her the help she needs. These kids need vitamins, like Vitamin D if they never get outside. And the daughter needs her meds! The mother only cares about herself so I hope the aunt will consider taking the kids back. I hope the young boy is removed before he is also dealing with depression and anxiety. Neglected children very sad.
The teen is desperately ill. She has a pervasive hopelessness. She sees the picture of her existence accurately and is feeling totally powerless. The boy is also so, so sad. But at least he has a sister who cares for him. They need a placement that is gentle and safe with adults who will take responsibility. The mother is completely incompetent, and the man with whom they live also. Tragic… I am 77 and feel like without immediate safe placement for these kids, together, there is. No hope for a good outcome.

You can't shield the mother at the expense of the children. She should be reported for neglect and endangerment. Anything could happen when she leaves them unprotected from her drunkard men friends.What will happen if the poor girl has a major asthma attack and little Nokia is left to deal with it. Poor kids! I can understand the daughter not being enthusiastic about buying new clothes and going to school. She'd be reluctant to make friends as they may want to visit her at home, and her home environment is very toxic and she would be too embarrassed for her friends to find out. I am not sure about 'mum', she's not right, and I don't know if she's on drugs or whether she needs psychological help? She's deluding herself, that this and that guy is good, and leaving her kids in dangerous situations. She is not stable or settled and unable to manage her finances, likely because she doesn't stay at her jobs. She's looking for easy fixes (ie men to help) but that doesn't work. My wish is that the children are somewhere safe, warm and settled, it's really very important that they attend school, and mum is not able to manage this small task.

Every member of that little family is showing textbook symptoms of post-trauma syndrome. The kids can be helped by someone with patience, because they clearly want a better life even if they have learned not to hope.
The mother, I don't know if she's brave enough to be as vulnerable as she would have to be for help to make a difference. She's been hiding behind chaos, lies, and dysfunction for a very long time and her executive brain functions have been mostly offline for many years. She probably doesn't believe she can both have and sustain anything better.

At least the daughter can still talk about it and can be helped. The mother has lost all confidence in herself. She can barely take care of herself.
Why don't they have Child Welfare to take the kids and put them in a home with stability and someone that can help them to overcome their trauma. The mother needs to go into some retraining of her brain to see how she is failing her children. She is lucky to have two healthy children but she could lose that too! She is mourning about the past instead on moving on into the present. She needs her brain rewired. God help this family.

I feel for that girl very deeply! She has lost hope it seems, and has grown up not being able to trust the adults around her, especially the ones she should be able to trust. If these kids' situation isn't changed soon, they will end up just like mom.

Is the aunt still around? I would call her and see if the children could go live with her. I'm sure the mother would agree if there was incentive. Her life would be the way she wants it.. no children to prevent her from doing what she wants. The mother is clearly unfit to have children and the daughter is becoming hopeless and more depressed the longer she is with her! This is unfortunately an all but too common story in every country! Very sad!

What well behaved beautiful intelligent children. Sometimes children are brought up in harsh circumstances, and turn out amazing. Sometimes children have all the love and tools they need to be successful and wind up to be terrible terrible people. I would say these children have a lot of common sense, empathy, and character, and with some help and influence from you time to time, might turn out really well. It was very very horrible how mom left them with the alcoholic etc. It could have turned into a trafficking situation... When my girls were small (they're in their 40's now) I ALWAYS anticipated what the worst outcome could be and how to avoid that possibility. I was like that because my mom was not a great parent and I had bad experiences. Being a mom like this myself, I learned that many other women are just stupid and don't take precautions because it just doesn't enter their mind. ATM the BEST that can be done is to focus on the girl. School, Clothes, school supplies, correct meds, transportation (bike?), and some stock-up of non perishable foods. Maybe then the mom will realize she needs to choose between the man and her children's future. If she could live in her home out of the city, repair it and learn to budget, maybe she won't have so much anxiety to depend on a man. Maybe some idea of a garden in the house to sell flowers/plants or veggies, or bake cookies sometimes for extra income. I don't think this woman depends on the man for food only... beer every night is expensive. Thank you for wanting to help this young girl! 🙂🙂🙂
