Robert Kreidermacher, 4th generation dairy farmer in SE Minnesota, shows how his new two-stage dairy manure storage pit was constructed on their 400 acre farm. He discusses how the flexibility in timing of the manure applications to his farm fields has greatly improved because of the new long-term manure storage pit.
