I was born in the early 90s baby best times retro 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗❤❤❤
I'd bring an original PS3 so I could watch DVD's, Blueray', PS2, PS1 and PS3 games. Easily the best library for a single console ever.
Makes sense if ya got the backwards compatible PS3... all those consoles in one are a no brainer!
I found one at a pawn shop in 2018 for $30 because it wouldn't read disc and the door over the memory card slots was missing. I replaced the blu-ray drive and it works like a charm
Looks fun. I would love to see a version for the Dreamcast. Those damned VMUs pile up real fast.
An OLED screen VMU with microSD? Hell yeah! No more worries about lack of space due to minigames or save game data
They already do the LCD screen thing
this thing is awesome wonder why no one has done that already this should've happened 15 years ago
FPGA wasn't as cheap and "retro" is so popular now that it was natural evolution. IMHO
@@kenmorrow86 who says it has to be FPGA plus tech like that exists for the last 20 years so if someone wanted they could've done it and it would've sold properly better back then cause many ppl still played their PS1 at that time now more ppl prefer emulation
@@kenmorrow86 yup, retro gaming is coming back HARD!
Pretty Cool😃
They did do it 15 years ago. It’s called the V Mem.
I had a janky PS1 memory card back in the day that had a little clicky button and it could switch between 3 different internal memory cards. So it was basically a 3 for 1 deal. It was a stone-age version of this card lol
It was a stone age version of this card lmaoo
My 3 desert island consoles:
Wii U: RetroArch with a 128 GB SD card. You can add a ton of emulators for retro systems up to a large chunk of N64 and PS1 with overclocking.
DS injects/loadiine, GameCube running off the SD through NIntendont, WII injects, and every good WII U game crammed onto a 1 TB external hard drive. Its truly an emulation beast.
PS4: Self explanatory with all the amazing indies and exclusives
XBOX1S : See above
That what i personally own. I'd love to have a Series X so i could have fun running it in developer mode. I wonder if RetroArch has a good Saturn/Dreamcast/PS2 core yet.
Ps2 is running decnetly on a number of games! Its early days for it but ye.
Hoping something like this is made for PS2 and Gamecube mem cards as well
you can get a 128mb ps2 card for about 10 bucks on ebay, its not the same but its sure a shitload of storage. not sure about the gamecube
@Silverfrost208 thats unfortunate. I've had a 128mb card for years now and its been fine. I do remember getting a 64mb one like you said back in around 2010 and it had issues reading and I threw it away
@@nebulosa553 Gamecube 3rd party cards go up to 256-512MB, and even a few sell on amazon that are as high as 1GB. The one downside is that gigabyte card costs $22.
GameCube one is now preordering!
@@nebulosa553 those are sht memory cards. You’ll lose saves after years
Ill choose
1:Super nintendo
2:sega saturn
3:playstation
3 Soulja Boy consoles are the correct answer.
The only answer.
Soulja boy i told you so!
🤣🤣
😂😂 this is a banger answer
WTF!!!!???? Is a SOULJA BOY????
My 3 consoles. Sega saturn, Genesis, Neo Geo (if I had money lol!)
Saturn already has many great ports of the more popular NeoGeo games. Swap for SNES!
@@nicholasbullock1709 Actually I think I might swap for Ps2, so much variety and backwards compatibility
The three I'd choose are a switch, 3ds and a wii. You basically get a taste of every nintendo console with those three consoles, and that's all I want.
Makes sense!
A Wii U can play every Nintendo console ever except DSi, 3DS, and Switch. A 3DS can play DSi and 3DS, so the only three Nintendo consoles you'd ever need are a Wii U, 3DS, and Switch. Kinda cool to think about.
Exactly. Too bad retro stuff with Switch is a shame in comparison to what WiiU gave us.
Three systems i’d choose.
3.) Sega Dreamcast
2.) SNES
1.) PlayStation
If I could bring five the Saturn would be 4th and the N64 would be 5th.
If I did a 4th its probably be the Dreamcast. I do love the Saturn... had one before I ever had a PS1... but I just didnt enjoy the games quite as much as the PS1. The N64 there is like 5-6 games I couldnt live without... but the NES/SNES/PS1 each have far more games I care about than the N64... though the N64 I have very fond memories of getting it day one and enjoying the crap out of it.
Lunar Silver Star Story! My favorite RPG of all time.
"Screwing coconuts"? Omg! That's funny!!!
That lunar intro brought me back to a better time. I need to revisit silver star story and eternal blue
Me too man. PS1 all the way. Even now that I have a Switch and PS5 I still play my PS1.
Like always you're a great guy and very descriptive ✌
This think is awesome. Too overkill. Inagine having one of those back in the day 🤣.
Btw I’d choose:
1 dreamcast
2 psx
3 snes
My three consoles? PS1, PS2 and PS Vita. All three modded, all three loaded with my favorite games, specially the Vita with both Vita and PSP games, even more so now that Sony will be closing their digital storefronts in the near future.
We need analogue controllers for the ps classic yes I know they have ps5 controllers but I mean like ones that looks like the original ps1 analogue controllers
@@JohnDoe-wq5eu true but I shouldn't have to do that they should make a usb to ps1-ps2 controller connector I know they have them but I mean one that actually works
I see a future of a world when I only have one memory card for all my consoles
Over 20 years later and I still recognized that ehrgeiz intro in a second
There is a NEW Nintendo 3ds game coming out in September of 2021.
The name of the game is "Andro Dunos 2"
I sold my modded psx AGES ago. But I kept my memory cards and games. Somewhere I have my ff7 game file with 98 hours, all characters lvl 99, all limit breaks, ultimate weapons, KOTR summon and all super bosses beaten. I could salvage that save data with this.
Yeah, there is microSD cards that are too small for something else now that they are perfect for purposes for these. Thank you so much.
To bad one of these haven't been made for the PS2. At least I haven't found 1.
Niiiice! I bought two of dem bishes. One for me one for the GF! Excellent product!
I was in high school when the ps1 was released.. I purchased one and the 64 with my employee discount in 97. I bought re2, gran turismo and a memory card, the 64 with 007 GoldenEye, shadows of the empire, san fransico rush and Mace. The 64 was only played mostly for GoldenEye and multiplayer games, the ps1 was used a lot. I eventually bought a 4x digital memory card.
Glad to see Lunar Silver Star glimpse, you playing it? How you liking it?
Wow, don't see you usually get this excited about most things!
This will be great for transferring all my PS1 game saves to a backup. The original memory cards don't have near enough storage space for my needs.
My favorite Desert Island Consoles:
1. Super NES
2. SEGA Saturn
3. TurboGrafx-16
Have you used it long? How is it compared to the big ones in the 90s? The big memory cards back then often ended up with corrupt save files, sooner or later, that never or rarely happened with OEM cards. I had, or still have I guess, some games like Populous that takes up one whole Memory Card alone. This was a problem.. And the unoriginal cards was unstable in the long run.. For some reason.
They where cheaper though, but I ended up with OEM cards in the end..
Just get a 32GB micro SD card at Walmart, and you have over 225,000 memory cards for only less than $10 (minus the memory card pro for about $80, including the cheapest shipping option)
Okay so if I was stranded with only consoles I would choose the PlayStation 3 that is backwards compatible with the PlayStation 1 and 2 SNK Neo Geo Nintendo switch
If I was stranded on a island that happened to have electricity I think the 3 consoles I would choose would be PlayStation 2 (because it can also play PlayStation 1 games), and GameCube, and Nintendo 64.
This gives me hope for the future of retro gaming. For example updates/ patches on last gen and current gen gsmes.
I already have Mega Memory Card for PSX. I've had it for years. Bruh.
what program were you using in the beginning of the video to organize your games?
Congratulations, you have successfully gotten me excited about a memory card. This looks awesome!
Hopefully they make one for the PS2 & Dreamcast.
Does it work with the PS2? Or only for PS1?
Tickled the tank for me.
Madlittlepixel - 2021
For me it would be the Sega Genesis or Playstation 2.
I jumped on this card the moment I found out about it. I wanted the smoke color, but they only had clear. After watching your video, I'm cool with clear now. It looks pretty sick! Can't wait to see what the "special surprises" are...
They should be able to load entire games through that memory card thanks to that remote code execution exploit on PS1 memory cards that was found, and they could make an entire online community where people can play 1-4 player (or more) on the original PlayStation through the internet through the wifi on that memory card lol. PS2 could be done as well (even though PS2 already has LAN support, I suspect loading wifi through a memory card would be much more convenient).
I’m excited , mine is coming from batch 2 so Mine should ship rather soon . I have the ps1 with the ps1 digital and the xstation and I absolutely love it , this just seemed like a must lol
Amazing Memory card. Imagine if 8Bitmods design and build one of these for the Dreamcast?
Almost ordered one directly from 8Bitmods as SAG and CM are sold out, but that $20 shipping from the UK... :( Glad my Performance Mega Memory Card still works.
This is something really cool, Ron!!
Thanx for info
And Happy Easter
1. PlayStation 4
2. Super Nintendo
3. PSP (if handhelds are an option) otherwise Sega Dreamcast
Nice video man. That's a cool product! I would love to keep every ps1 save I have on just one card
That memory card probably has more processing power than the playstation it's connected to
Honestly if it also worked for the PS2 (As in, it's the same memcard for the PS1 and the PS2), it would be an instant buy for me
Great to know there is company out there that still makes aftermarket memory cards for the PS1 👍
Beats my generic floppy disk drive that takes like a minute to load or two to five minutes to dump the memory card to. Also risked writing to bad floppies. About a year before DexDrive so I couldn't download internet saves.
I legit almost skip on this video just by lookin at the date of the upload... glad I didn't!
I wonder what would happen if you would show modern ps1 modding to kids in the 90s. Would there be chaos or peace?
Man @Madlittlepixel 😮 That is a tough question??? I wouldn't even be able to choose what systems brother! But yea, those three are the must haves though... Yea, I'll be getting that card! Tight!!!😎😮
"This tickled the taint for me" 🤣 Holy shit I lost it
All I need is a sega genesis with a controller and the full library no need for the other two🤘🏽💯
Crossing my fingers for a ps2 version.
Also dreamcast with display, og xbox and gamecube i guess.
Ill grab one when things get better.....
That tonyhax thing looks awesome. I just got a modchip ps1 which i had for a long time.
Got it already on release 😎
This is awesome! New tech making retro gaming better. :)
U don't need optical lens emulator just load all games from the memory card on ps1 ps2
If a ps2 version or update comes out I'm totally getting one. I have way too many ps2 cards that I constantly am swapping and it's a pita.
We need this for the ps2.. or does it work for the ps2?
If I was trapped in an island with electricity the 5 consoles I would choose to stay with would be
1.) PlayStation One
2.) PlayStation Two
3.) N64
4.) Gamecube
5.) Xbox 360
Thanks for sharing this. This is incredible and now makes doing the Tony hawk hack to soft mod your system incredibly easy! If so I'm getting this asap and starting to get some more Japanese games.
My 3 consoles on an island? Pretty easy: PS2 (my favorite console of all time) PC Engine Japanese Duo (tons of shooters and my favorite game Rondo Of Blood) Sega Genesis (again tons of shooters and awesome library of games)
So would it be by chance I could get your original PS1 memory cards from you man? lol And I just keep track of what games are on what memory card. It has worked for me for years. This new memory card looks pretty cool though. I also have the digital one they released years ago. Can't remember the brand. But it is more of a hassle because of all the letter and number blocks to sift through. lol
I love the the ps1 looks good on new tvs
For me it would be
Wii u (so I can play all my favourite N64,GC,Wii and Wii u games.
Xbox s X.
Ps3 (so I can play PS1 and ps2 and PS3 games.)
The correct three consoles to bring are:
1.) SNES
2.) PlayStation
3.) N64
Great video, would love to see a video about your favorite ps1 titles.
back in the day I use a PS2 and uLaunchElf to backup PSX Mem Card Saves to a USB Drive....
Best Memory Card Ever, So I don't blame you
Maybe because I commented ? but EVERYTIME i search for anything with PS1 in the title now this video & 4 others will not remove from the top of my search screen
Thanks.
If this works for the Regular Big PS2 that's Awesome so you can save & Transfer your PS2 Games to it that's Awesome . Now they should make one for The Original X-Box so I can Grab my Game Saves & Tune-nage .
I really want to be able to send saves to my PC/Phone for emulating on the go and then back at home
My fave console is PS3 backward compatible (20gb). I know its cheating but the big bonus is the PSN store for PS3. So many great digital-only games I've downloaded off it.
A PlayStation One memory card that has WiFi built in 😂 I never thought I’d see the day! Freaking awesome though
Need a PS2 version of this!
hope that make sum thing like this for the ps2 and dreamcast and gamecue lol can't wait to get my mem pro need to backup up 40 ps1 mem card lol
While I think thats an admiral list, I'd got with either Ps2 or Ps3 original, because... BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY!!!
Would this work with the original Star Ocean 2 voice clips? - Back in the day before voices were apart of game play, So had a few hundred mini voice clips in the game. And every time you got a new one, it opened up a little square on the main menu. Unlock enough of them and you start to see the picture it forms. - Trouble is, it could take a ton of play throughs to get em all, and you only had 15 slots on a ps1 mem card. So im wondering if this memcard pro could hold more then that 15 games, AND have the game recognize it and load up all those voice clips unlocked form the different files.
Unfortunately it's sold out. I'll be on the lookout when they come back in stock.
Like everything these days you gotta be there in the first few minutes to have a chance at getting a pre-order in.
What's the system you're using in the intro? That's one slick interface.
The Polymega
You can also buy a massive memory card 1440 of storage
You’d really only need the ps5 cause it plays ps4, a backwards compatible ps3 cause it plays ps2 and ps1, and a Super Nintendo
Can't wait for mine to come in
I'm playing parasite eve 1 & 2 after getting a naughty stick for my playstation classic
I have this set up as well from 8bitmods. Its marvel. Beyong my wildest imagination. Highly recomend it
This is like these crap ass memory cards "8 in 1" you could get back then, BUT with the BIG difference that this one WILL work WITHOUT failing! WOW! now THIS IS a memory card!
this is an awesome product, but I think 60-75 bones is too much.
Super thrilled you say Super Nintendo and not snez but then you say oh-led.
So close.
N64, PS2 and Switch
I pre ordered mine a couple weeks back. The auto recognition of games with the xstation had me sold. I wonder if save state could be a future feature together with xstation 🤔
8BitMods card doubles the joy of gaming on PS console.
This thing looks great but I think they missed the opportunity to make it more like the PocketStation.
