I still remember that day, and I will never forget it. 15 years old and with my parents to Spain to go to the boarding of the Dakar fleet to Morocco. I had the opportunity to see him drive by. Later on he came around with pictures and signatures for the spectators. I was one of the lucky ones with his signature... A couple of days later I received the news from his dead, and immediately burst into tears. Till today each time I see some footage of the Dakar rally I think about that day. R.I.P
My #1 all time Dakar hero. A giant amongst all other motorcycle racers. Hard to even imagine how he pushed his LC8 to the ultimate limit. Someday I will meet him in the afterlife and we will go on an incredible ride together. RIP my friend.
Un maestro dentro y fuera de la pista, una gran persona sobre todo. Fabrizio es el tipo de gente que se extraña para siempre, es imposible no añorar a tipos de esa madera. Qué sería de su vida de haber logrado concluir ese Dakar?? Se habría animado a subir a los autos?? Se habría quedado colaborando con KTM desde otro lugar?? Desde cualquier lado sin duda hubiera engrandecido la categoría con su presencia. Excelente video maestro
