I love this "messier" scribbled kind of art. You can be freer because it doesn't have to be perfect, everything in the lines stuff. Great job on this. It is beautiful!
Fantastic video. Thank you so much for your generosity and insights in sharing this. I love to go to these kinds of classes with my mum too. I am starting to feel like I have an Antipodean kindred spirit!
Thank you - I love crafting with mum - its special to spend time with her like this. She came to the class I taught on the weekend - it was fun to boss her around!!! lol
I really really love 💖 all your stunning artwork on these pages. I really really love 💖 how abstract they all are. I really really love 💖 the figures the one I think 🤔 you said you were going to frame. I really think 🤔 you should have copies made of them, so you can use them in other things within your art. Thank you so much Niamh I really really appreciate seeing your work.
Thank you so much. I missed her classes last time as I had just had my first child, then I missed delusions because I was just about to give birth to my second. So when these classes were announced just before my 40th Birthday - well - the stars aligned :) Hope you get there one day x
I love that double page with paper and canvas, the one with the circle. The colour palette is lovely. I would be proud of that page, but it just goes to show how subjective art is.
Thank you - I have still got that page as is. I loved the palette too, but It's just one of those pages that looks not finished to me. I appreciate that you see something different in it - I love that about art and the art community x
Pretty sure I sat next to you at the Layers class, didn't know otherwise I would have told you I am a subscriber and love your videos. Dina is a great teacher, how lucky are we to have gone and learned from her? Glad you had a great art weekend.
Aw - thats awesome. It was lovely sitting with you and watching you create your fab work. What a small world hey! Hopefully we'll meet up again for the next classes. x
gee i'm back to aug '18 now. i haven't watched all yr clips inbetween...the computer just seems to take me to where ever so i go from there. i found this extremely interesting niamh. for someone who says they're not crazy about green, do you realize how much green is in the journal? lol. i think it looks really pretty. i think i'm starting to come around to dina wakely a bit now. (maybe you've brain washed me lol}. hey niamh do you have RIOT art & craft stores in tassie? every now & then they have a 50% off sale & i just happened to see an email from them tonight telling me. needless to say i jumped onto their site & i ended up spending $134 but with that i saved something like $273 or close enough. Dearest thing i bought for only $20 was a proper art journal. normally about $47 i think. i got all sorts of things so will be looking forward to starting soon & having a REAL journal. :) stooopid me i should have got one a year ago..no...i wasnt into all this a year ago. Back to yr clip here - i like the way you explain about dina & the course etc. much more interesting with some dialogue. Did she come out to australia & run courses or were you over there? Does she come here often?
No- I don’t think so- but she does have a whole range of online classes that are well worth doing. I really enjoyed her figuratively speaking class. In most of her classes she covers the principles of colour, abstract painting and more
Thanks for watching. Sorry about the sound - I had to film in a different position and I thought my microphone was loud enough. I will check the levels again. Thanks for letting me know :)
Absolutely love it
Love youre work
I loved them ALL, even the ones you said weren’t your faves. Wow - so colorful, busy & beautiful❣️❣️
Thanks Lynn - it was an amazing experience to do the classes.
Thank you for sharing. Amazing. Really love the windows and the ‘fold out bits’. I’m with you about framing the one piece. It’s great. ♥️

Does she offer the class online?

Love your art. Difficult to hear you though.

I have found, for some reason, that my volume will go up more when I use headphones. I always have to break out my headphones on the quiet videos.
I have a hard time hearing you.
Thank you for letting me know Marsha - I have changed my recording since this video - hope it is easier to hear these days :)
