This is amazing!!! Really helpful. Can get out on the water and know what to fish right away. You tell how the fish act and why to use the baits. A fairly young angler like myself can totally learn a lot from your videos.
Options from you for each month hits the spot for me. I"m 79 and have always fished with my wife and don't get different ideas unless I get them online. Thanks again.
Great information and tips! Doesn't matter if you are new to fishing or a seasoned angler, there is always a lot to learn from your picks. Lots of details included. You really need to listen to both the baits and where to start videos to really dive in deeper. Thank you E. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms!!
Man there is not a day on Grand that I dont think of you and something I've learned or seen you do in a tourney that does not influence every decision I make throughout a day. Your insight and inspiration just cannot be overstated when it comes to what you have done for not only my fishing but countless others everywhere. Edwin you are the man and I cant thank you enough for the person you are, what you share, and your influence and inspiration for wanting to make people not just better fisherman and women but just better people, thank you, thank you, thank you for all you do and who you are! 😎🤙🎣
This is one of the finest videos on fishing in May. Being a HS Bass team Coach i will share this with the team and I will make sure they have these baits to practice with and use in our next tournament. Thanks!!
My grandpa religiously threw a rebel pop r once the weather got warm and feel like I did for a while but kinda got away from it due to loving a walking bait for covering water. Going to have to start throwing a popper again early on in the year
Always look forward to your monthly videos! They always help me catch more fish and have tried numerous new lures. And have caught fish on almost all of them. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for another great video. I also enjoyed you explaining more on the shad spawn and then the blue gill spawn coming in too. I know this will help me and lots of others with their fishing all through this time period. good luck with your fishing and God Bless you and your family. Jim
Thanks Edwin for all the tips and tricks ! IMO a blade is a must for this time of year ... whether it's a spinnerbait or bladed jig ! Don't throw the popping baits much any more but I do pay attention when the perch start popping in the grass !
Ive done pretty good on a white popping frog during the shad spawn, as well. Works great when they are spawning in brush or weed weeds! Thanks for your videos. I appreciate the sharing of your knowledge.
Love your tips! I have all those baits tied on already and have caught fish here in Ga south of Atlanta. Thanks for taking the time to create and educate. Always look forward to see these videos from you. My prayer is God will continue to allow you to do what your do.
Edwin, I love your tip episodes. I look forward to them all. I’ve followed your career since your rookie days and have always been a big fan. You probably don’t remember but I met you once at the 2005 classic in Pittsburg and talked to you for a long time. You left an impression that I have never forgotten and made a fan for life. I stopped fishing tournaments for 12 years due to many life obstacles but Saturday I’m getting back in the saddle and fishing my first tournament in a long time. I can’t wait. Anyways, God bless you and your family. Thanks for all you do for the sport.
All great lures for a lot of the year. Just getting back into fishing after a 6 yeear layoff from too much real life family issues. Almost have the boat ready. Your videos have been great to remind me what I've been missing. Also love the After the Cast Videos.
These pointers are amazing. I used last months baits and I’ve caught more fish in the past month than I ever have this time of year. I can’t wait to try this months tricks.
Edwin, I love to throw not only a spinner bait during this time, but also pop-R's like you talked about. with so many new baits coming out and ways to catch fish sometimes the oldies get lost and forgotten about....Great Video!!!
Thanks for the shad spawn information. Found this to be great advice, especially for some upcoming tournaments. Going to put these suggestions to use. Thanks again and appreciate all your videos. Have a blessed week..
I am a 77 YO bank beater and went out yesterday morning and only caught 3. Being post spawn it’s a little slow and struggling to come up with a game plan for May. You gave me some great ideas on what to throw. Great video. Thanks.
Thanks for all the advice on the shad spawn. I can’t wait for some top water blowups. I’ve thrown a swamp lord into pads some this year with no luck. I’ll have to tie on a popper and give that a try soon.
I love the Berkley swim jigs because they have the line tie that is perfectly straight which makes that hook gap awesome! And you can not beat a Slobberknocker around wood!
As always, I appreciate your advice and expertise. I personally depend on these videos to help grow my knowledge. It also helps to know I have the right baits tied on.
