This is why I often carry a pocket seecamp. Neat little gun. No sights, 32acp, tiny, sharp looking, and runs the 32acp hollowpoints I have the most access to (critical defense). It's not on the recommended list but I put two boxes through it without issue

Vedder makes kydex pocket holsters that are quickly becoming my favorite way to carry in the pocket. Because of the kydex retention snap and "thumb tab" you can stage any gun in your pocket and easily hit sub second draw to first shots from concealment. I carry a p365 this way and I think it's a tactical advantage in your average mugging scenario. Defense is inherently reactive so being able to discretely grip the pistol is a huge advantage for speed. Active self protection always talks about looking for your counter ambush opportunity and this is a golden way to do it. You can drop your phone/wallet from weak side pocket to gain a .5 second distraction while you draw, fire and get off the x with your strong side hand. I've gamed this out with friends using airsoft guns and I'm able to come out on top every time they don't expect it. (i.e. the first run when they have an airsoft pistol pointed at me). It's critical to move off the x while you drop your wallet though. Not only this but I can shoot a regular p365 with a flat faced trigger out to 40 yds.
