Avocado oil has a smoke point of 500 degrees. It’s not a bad option when your run out of lube…
Country crock is margarine

You can pretty much buy a decent car for the price of a staccato. If it’s going to be your first handgun, and you plan on carrying it for self defense, I would recommend you buy something cheaper but yet reliable still first. Maybe a p320 and then get the staccato you’ve been “dreaming about”
Reliable, accurate, flat shooting, light trigger and crisp trigger, smooth, great fit and finish. I don't wanna argue about the price.
This was just a joke video to get people mad, haha but I will say, plastic trigger on a 2500 gun is some serious crap and they aren’t reliable/flawless about cycling once they get a little dirty from outdoor use. They have to be kept in great shape.
@@pewpewdingersYeah, I just got mine 2 days ago and it was the first time noticing the plastic trigger. 😅😅
But it shoots great!
Can't speak on any pistol other than the Staccato P X-Series, but on this model the trigger is definitely a steel trigger.
Light trigger- no the trigger is 4-4.5 lbs on the “duty” models. It is rather heavy for a 2011 actually.
Great fit and finish- nope. Not even close haha. They have good cnc operators and assemblers. nothing on staccato is hand fit or custom saddly and it shows in the tolerances.
Flat shooting/accurate- yeah they shoot pretty good but nothing amazing. I would never encourage someone to see a few of their glocks to get a staccato. A staccato will not drastically improve your abilities
Reliable - meh the original sti’s had a ton of mag related issues. Current production staccatos are improved in reliability but they still are prone to issues well known among the series 70 1911’s/2011’s. They dont run reliably when exposed to harsh elements and debris. I’ve got some pretty high round counts in between cleanings without issues with the gun but I have had to take apart and clean mags semi regularly to keep them feeding reliably. The. Spring and follower gets jammed with dirt pretty easily I found after using the staccato in uspsa. Also i wouldn’t recomend carrying a staccato due to the fact that they are not drop safe as with other series 70 1911/2011 there is no firing pin block and these guns will go off when dropped if the firing pin contacts the primer.
Price- imo the price is accurate. You’re getting a good/not great pistol and the price reflects that. If you want the best then suck it up and pay more for an infinity or night hawk or Fowler etc. staccato (before the prodigy existed) was the entry level model into a 2011 and because they’re production guns that are mass produced using cheaper materials like the polymer grip and trigger etc they keep their pricing down compared to their competitors which all are 1500-2k+ higher in price
Been running one the past two weeks at the range and it’s pretty damn sweet. I wouldn’t pay that price tag for one. I’d rather just get an entry level racer but it’s nice.
Most of the people who buy them can't even shoot a quarter at 7 yards in the first place. they just regurgitate what the salesman told them, to help them justify that purchase.
I was just at an IPDA event and I asked a shooter what he was shooting when he came off the line, he says…..”Ain’t the pistol boooiiii”.
I threw up in my mouth, immediately knew it was a Staccato. Lmao, he didn’t even shoot a good group or time. Lmao.
Yep
And let me guess you can?
😂😂😂 Yeah… wannabe fan boys… a shit ton of law enforcement agencies and Special Operations folks. They’re wannabes for sure. I’m an instructor for over 35 years and a competitor for longer than that. I was gonna get a Prodigy but saw too many FTF’s and complaints. There’s a reason to spend money on reliability and accuracy. I’m 65, retired and disabled veteran. This will probably be my last pistol purchase.
