I've been using an Ecovacs Deebot X1 Omni for the last 7 months daily to vac and mop 60m2 in two separate passes. The pads don't lift on the Ecovacs so in order to get a squeeky clean floor I manually remove and install the mop pads between each pass. Man, it's a major drag. On sale for 1200 the X40 seems like a sensible upgrade if it means zero intervention. Great review.

The l10 or s10 from dreame has a larger dust filter which performs better on carpets than the newer models.
You should do a video comparing the dreame l20, x30 and x40. I would recommend the x30. Because of its reliability advanced technology and you can add your own cleaning solution. $1399 lags $1900
When it comes to price, it would be interesting to compare both to the latest version of the l10 pro (heat).
I’ve read the RAW4 autofill/drain is for the L20/x30 and the RAW6 is for the L10/X40… is this correct? I’ll be ordering from Europe so I have to confirm which is which, only want to pay $48 shipping once 😂
X30 also have Auto Mop Rewash and dirty water detection technology just like L20/30 have
Is the liquid detergent even used to clean the floor at all? Or just the mop? What if I want the bot to clean up oil splatters in my kitchen?
It is used for mopping and also washes mops with hot water. Just remember to use Mop only mode on splaters, paddles ane any other wet messes.
Would you buy the Dreame x40 or the Dyson robot?
