Breaking Wave Plein Air Painting

The day started with some pretty strong winds and rain on Nokomis Beach and I decided to wait it out and paint later that afternoon.
It was a peaceful session with just the sound of the waves and a few people searching for shells.

Good one Todd, showing "plenty of beauty" to be seen on the beach, not just nature's,... well, I guess they are too! ;D Nothing like the feeling of being there, often tough going to paint, but a bad painting session is still a good experience just being there, the fresh air, the smells, the sounds, Everything. Like the "veteran" Open Box M, and nothing says "Rookie" like a "pristine" clean plein air set-up, eh? And their paintings, shown here on You Tube, usually "cannot suck enough" either. LOL ;D
Cheers from beautiful AZ, by way of CA, where I had many good times painting on the beach, years ago, in particular in San Mateo County, just south of SF, where you can drive right up to the beaches, and park, and paint. And it used to be free too, in early 2000's. :)
