I have always liked the 32 3 window coup. The first trip down the track looked like more rubber was needed on the ground. Then the second run was clean. Loved it.
The 32 duece is the perfect drag car for the track. The power to weight ratio is ridiculous. You can drop in a blown smallblock pushing 500 horse and blow the doors off of cars with engines much larger and powerful .
One thing that would help would be to narrow that rear end. Any time the rear track is wider than the front it will tend to go sideways on you. Think about it...a tire which is further out than either of the front tires will try to push the car sideways. I don't know why anyone would be surprised that a light weight hot rod would win over a much heavier Nova. That should be a given, especially with that motor.
My car last year. I should have known better to be one of the first cars down the track. Mustang II type suspension doesn't have much travel. I doubt a solid front axle would be any better, and probably wouldn't have handled this. Borla collector mufflers by the way.
Nice ride! Is this a one off car or a model sold by a specialty maker? Where can I buy one of these? Are you cramped inside as far as leg room? Thanks!
@@robertbloomquist7354 nah, putting a chevy motor in a Ford is like someone having sex with there sister, sure they can make it work and get away with it, but it will never sound right to me.
Not the best driving skills I have seen. Waiting too long to correct the left veer and then over steering it back to center was not good. A built 351 W racing block would easily get you in to the mid-tens without showing the world you have a 427 chevy in a classic classic 32 Ford. What the hell are you thinking?
+peanuttization 3-window and 5-window ’32s soon became popular hot-rod raw material. With its suicide doors, the ’32 3-window had a special style. The model itself didn’t appear in the Ford lineup until April 1932. It was a one year only effort, and it was only sold with deluxe features
At least you kept yours all Ford. I've seen some very nice looking cars out here, especially the one of this video, but just not interested in one that's got a Chevrolet engine in it.
I’m really sick & tired of these people putting a Chevy motor in a ford , why don’t u try putting a 427 big block ford motor in it & really see that thing move down the track !!!
I totally agree with what you're saying, But by the same token, it is his car, I guess he can build it the way he wants to, right? Again, like you, I wish it had a Ford engine in it.

Great video! Can you tell us who built your headers and if I can have a set made for my 32 Roadster with a 454. Love the LOOK. 👍
Looks like there might have been a tad too much air in the back tires. The burn out only had the centers heating up.
Thought the same thing, let some air out.

beautiful car! real nice. thanks for sharing.
Awesome car, love the look.
Nice looking car!
I hav a 34 ford...and would love to know the name of that header collector. .love the way it looks but cant seem to find them anywhere!
Those Ford coupe's are so fast it's hard to kerp it straight on the throttle!a 🚘🚘
Too much air in tires...did not even wrinkle...not enough burnout...
I can see whats wrong here...distributors in the wrong spot
😄
That's what I was thinking, lost me with that Chevrolet engine in that car. But, I guess it's his car what do you do.
NICE RUN W0W!!!!!!
427 Chev?😮

But it is cool
Was there a suspension adjustment required to prevent this? Why did the car act the way it did?
cool video. what size are rear wheels and tires?
Very nice!
Would love driving that on the street.
Scary. It must have been trying to puke that BBC out and get a 460 Ford mill.
😄👍
Chevturd power. Thus, no longer a Ford.
A lucky car.
Very Good!... 67 🐄🦉🏴☠✝
Yeah I thought it meant that he crashed into the nova when he says “take out”...He should’ve worded it as “takes down”.Whatever doesn’t really matter
Play on words? 🤔 Lookout back yeah I didn't even think that would cause someone to think that.
Thought it looks like the wheel spinning inside the tire, not screwed?
+George Parx Definitely no screws and don't see the rim spinning in slow motion to me anyways
That's a wheelman!

@@wheelspin1000. It's not a one off car. Ford made many of these in steel in 1932.
This classic car would beat the crap out of that Godzilla gtr
I'm happy now cause this proves to me that putting a Chevy engine in a ford DOES work so I'm glad
"Hey, what size engine in that?" 😉
Says "427 Chevrolet" on the valve cover.
@@colehara That's why the quotes and the wink. It appears they are trying to get their point across. I guess I, did not. 😎

Sorry it's not a Ford if it's gotta Chevy engine!
It's not a Ford when it's a plastic replica either!
Esther Allende That’s the point! Ford makes it, Chevy shakes it. 427 Chevy power.
It's the best it's ever been...with the bowtie engine.
Sorry but, independent front ends looks so lame on fenderless rods.
how do you put a chevrolet engine in a Ford?, that's a sin :(
fiberglass:(

MISSLEADING TITLE
In what way
left rear tire lifted , almost a roll over good save !!
I thought that at first too, but it can mean both.
Lose rear wheel bearings, they will get you every time!
Lol... "bitchin"?
🤔 Well known saying for something cool 😎
@@victoryredcolorado Its an extremely dated term that was never "cool", yet often repeated by parrots and wannabes.
That's a 33 or 34 Ford. 32 Ford didn't have suicide doors........
+peanuttization Read the title it's a 32
+victoryredcolorado I read the title. Did 32's come either way or is the doors custom?

Why put a chevy motor on a ford . BS. Build a 427 sohc that would eat that 427 chevy motor for lunch.

There isn’t a Ford part on it. The Chevy has stayed together in spite of my abuse. A big Ford would be in pieces by now and cost more too..
