Just a gentle reminder because I don’t want to be that guy but if you didn’t have a natural birth, you aren’t any less strong. And if you are struggling to conceive, you also can experience love to the fullest even if it’s not biological babies. And If you become more anxious PP, you are not selfish or broken ❤️ this is a personal journey as is our lists of things we feel 🥰
She ment that maybe because she felt the pain of birth, that maybe now period pains and cramps don't compare. Not that you are weaker if you had a medicated birth.
Since being a mom Im wiser with money , and not being wasteful with food and alot of staff . . And i kind of love that about me now . I care more about my health and my body and preserving my energy for the kiddos
Ok I did not feel empowered by giving birth, because I felt like I could not have done it without the PDA. I felt so much in need of my partner, the doctors and midwives... It made me feel almost helpless. When it was over I felt so happy to have made it through, but I didn't feel proud. I still don't feel that way. I feel like our bodies do or don't do their own thing really. Same goes for growing babies in our bellies. It's something nature does (amazingly), but it's not my/our accomplishment. That doesn't make it less valuable though. I do appreciate life in general even more than before, like you said. It really makes me want everyone to be healthy and have perfect bodies (as in: complete and whole) without being harmed in any way. When I look at my little baby with his chubby soft cheeks and his beautiful eyes and his vulnerability I just wish everyone would be loved as much as I love him and be treated with respect and care and that everyone would know someone would do anything to protect them and be there for them. I want noone to be harmed. I mean I wished this before having a baby, but I didn't feel it so much everyday. Because I didn't love like a mother before I guess.
I had that exact same experience in first trimester and thought I was going crazy. Being alone for long periods of time is not good for your mental health. Thank you for sharing xx
When you said you still don’t understand how you made Sage in your body, it made me shed a tear, and my daughters are 8 and 12 !! I think if you are an emotional person like we are, that feeling never goes away ♥️
In postpartum, the one thing I noticed the most is even after I stopped breastfeeding, the hunger is real! A few months after weaning my daughter I still need to snack or else I feel dizzy.
Great video! Im 8 months almost 9 months pregnant and I already can relate to a lot of these things and I love the honesty. Great reminders and perspectives on life too. I always try to live in the moment but sometimes life feels like its on fast forward mode and everything goes so fast. I really want to slow down and put myself, by baby, and my loved ones first. Including our health and letting go of some of those stressers and accepting life for what it is more instead of trying to be perfect when really Im not prefect at all.
Omg yes the post partum night/day sweats are REAL!! (7 months pp here, probably lasted a couple of months but definitely a warmer/sweatier person now!) and yes much heavier periods too! And I would also say I’m more anxious, unfortunately!!
7 months PP and can agree with all of the things. Still waiting for my period to return and honestly I don’t miss it! One thing that trips me out is phantom cries. I will wake up from a dead sleep or when falling asleep and be convinced my son is crying but I will check the monitor and he will be sound asleep.
I agree with the majority of the things you said except for a couple. I've noticed the times when I don't get enough sleep I am a more stressed person that day. I think the biggest difference for me was after birth I did not feel like superwoman. I wound up having an unplanned c section so I felt super defeated. Oh and my 9 month old still doesn't sleep through the night.
Currently 2,5 months pp, our babies are 1year appart 😍 and following your journey into motherhood has been so informative and inspiring to me... I'm just getting out of a really dark time I went through the first few weeks pp, and knowing it gets better really helped me push through, but also helped me reach out for help. Thank you ❣️
Nature’s magazine has an article about the brain after birth. Actually it’s awesome and amazing what’s happening in our brain. I recommend every mom to read because it’s just amazing. You won’t feel dumb anymore. Make sure to read to your partner !!!!!
The BO thing happened to me when I stop taking my birth control for health reason. I also lost lots of hair and had more pimples. It was almost like being postpartum. I am now currently 34 weeks pregnant and can't WAITTT to relive that again (sarcastic....).
@@alexism1127 Damn 2 years...I am really curious to see how it will be after I have my baby. My skin and hair are so nice right now and I don't smell XD. Probably the only thing I enjoy during this pregnancy XD loll.
Totally mom brain and being emotional are sooo real!😂 and light sleeper too, just don't sleep as well anymore. I mean I got slightly emotional when you talked about loving life more and being so amazed at what women can do. Like seriously 😂 Love this video thank you! 👙
Omg!! I am 11 months postpartum and everything you said is so accurate and on point! I am also from Toronto 🙌🏾 I felt as though am having a talk with my sister. Thanks for sharing such personal details 💕
The period I totally relate! I got my period back 4 months postpartum. Also since I got vaccinated it became worse! I couldnt leave the house for three days because I was an ocean😣 I am taking meds that my OB prescriped for me, and it became a little better!
So let me tell you! Our babies are a couple months apart and I am still breast-feeding and I am a sweaty stinky person still I feel like we won’t truly know how our bodies change until we’re done breast-feeding at least that’s what I’m telling myself
Thank you for this video. For me is the same with nipples and emotions. Sweating will change with time. With periods I have different experience, first period 17 months after baby 1 ans 26 months after baby 2, and almost no pain. It is different for every mum. 😍
Thank you for this! The. Sweat. Is. So. Real. And so unexpected!! Hoping that simmers down eventually... I can definitely relate to a lot of these, except the anxiety. Mine has sky rocketed since having my sweet babe. I saw some other comments as regarding not feeling like superwoman due to c section and I can relate to that as well. I wanted my birth to be so similar to yours! Had it all planned out...and then baby was breech :( glad we both got through safe and sound but wished I could have experienced the superwoman feelings that you have ❤
I feel all of these! Except I am still dealing with anxiety because I never get a break from baby or baby related things. I’ve been stuck at home for 5 months. Seeing your videos and that you also have travel anxiety but travel gives me hope! The digestion is crazy. I also had 2nd trimester digestion problems and now postpartum it feels like the 2nd trimester all over again. Will you keep me updated on if it gets better with what you’re doing? And my hair started falling out around 4 months too! Sooooo much of it. Good to hear it will end pretty soon! And thank you for clarifying how the hair is falling out. That makes me feel better!
It would be great to know if some of these changes happen to parents who don’t birth their own child too. The light sleeping, the intuition that comes from being a new parent, all that good stuff
I also did a natural drug free birth & omg things are so less painful now 😂 I’m also not nervous whatsoever to get more tattoos- even the one I was on my side/rib area like yeah let’s go 🤷🏼♀️👏🏼
I just had a baby 9 weeks ago...the stink that I have even 30min after showering some days is unreal. Also, I'm breastfeeding and started my period 6 weeks postpartum 😥 My Midwife says I'm one of the very few women that are so "lucky."
So I haven’t been losing hair nor do I think I am growing hair BUT I have now been growing grey hair 😭😭 can other moms relate ? And did it ever go back or are we stuck like this
Hi Nikole! I recently found out I’m pregnant and your videos are great. I wonder if you took pregnancy vitamins outside of Folate and vitamin D? I heard it isn’t needed if you have a good diet - which I very much do - but I’m nervous to stop because I want to do the best I can. Do you have a take on this?
The periods.... I get no cramps but it is now nearly crime scene level. 🤣 Before I had the cramps but a reasonable level flow. 🙈 I really don't know if before or after was better. Lol. I am 5 mths pp after twins and I feel most of these. 🙈
You'll go through another change when you finish breastfeeding with those extra hormones leaving your body and it definitely eases baby brain and other changes.
The sensitive abdomen!! I didn’t feel like that feeling of permanent owch didn’t go away till I was 3 years post partum then I got pregnant again lol 👙
🧜(couldn't find a bikini mojo) Would love to see your stomach post pregnancy. My whole middle got thicker and I ended up getting a belly-button hernia (not pretty).
Omg i used to be able to workout and not even smell and after baby i smell and sweat more no matter what . I have to shower twice a day so annoying 😭 hope it goes away but idk
Just a gentle reminder because I don’t want to be that guy but if you didn’t have a natural birth, you aren’t any less strong. Thank you! I don't want want to be that "guy" either but sometimes depending on what we are going through off handed comments can hurt!
Thank you for this reminder!! 💛✨
Agree! Plus if you take meds to help during labour it doesn’t make you any less stronger of a person!
She ment that maybe because she felt the pain of birth, that maybe now period pains and cramps don't compare. Not that you are weaker if you had a medicated birth.
Cactus- It was just a statement I made to ensure other women who take meds during labour don’t feel less empowered.
Since being a mom Im wiser with money , and not being wasteful with food and alot of staff . . And i kind of love that about me now . I care more about my health and my body and preserving my energy for the kiddos

Pregnancy has made me a lot more sensitive and cry a lot and I don’t think it will change after baby. I feel more vulnerable but in a beautiful way 🙂
I had that exact same experience in first trimester and thought I was going crazy. Being alone for long periods of time is not good for your mental health. Thank you for sharing xx

Good to know!
My pregnancy made me stronger and after giving birth I am no longer afraid of anything☺️😄

As a momma of soon to be 4, I can definitely relate to majority of these! ❤️

6 weeks postpartum and I can already relate to these!! Love this sit down and chat type of video

The same thing happened to me when I got off birth control. It’s been two years and I FINALLY got the acne under control.
@@alexism1127 Damn 2 years...I am really curious to see how it will be after I have my baby. My skin and hair are so nice right now and I don't smell XD. Probably the only thing I enjoy during this pregnancy XD loll.

Im 11mo too! I don’t have as many of those symptoms, but some things i really relate with.

Omg im soo glad you said about the sweat. I stink latly and nothing helps. Ive uped my water and probiotics as well. Just annoying.
Hi Nicole I love your realness!! Take good care.. 🤗🙂

Florida looks good on you mama 🔥
It’s that sun and freedom
@@jordanphillips8007 what a shift in your mental health can do for your body hey 😍🙏
Would love to see an updated make-up video! 💄
It would be great to know if some of these changes happen to parents who don’t birth their own child too. The light sleeping, the intuition that comes from being a new parent, all that good stuff
It would be amazing if your huband did this video about his changes too! To help the future fathers:D
I literally buy my clothes differently now depending on the material because I 👏 can't 👏 stop 👏 sweating 👏🤪
the sweat is real!
Thank you as always for being so candid and sharing! This is so helpful and of course 👙
I can definitelly relate with being more emotional after having the baby. 😩
I swear I cry about everything and I want to ugly cry at every sad movie even if its Disney lol

Hair looks so cute !!
I also did a natural drug free birth & omg things are so less painful now 😂 I’m also not nervous whatsoever to get more tattoos- even the one I was on my side/rib area like yeah let’s go 🤷🏼♀️👏🏼
I’m so happy I’m not the only one with a sensitive core after having a baby! It makes me cringe when anything touches it!
All of these yes. Especially number 1. And no one talks about it enough 😂
love you sweet girl! thinking about you guys in FL.💕
I just had a baby 9 weeks ago...the stink that I have even 30min after showering some days is unreal. Also, I'm breastfeeding and started my period 6 weeks postpartum 😥 My Midwife says I'm one of the very few women that are so "lucky."
I think you’re doing a wonderful job! :)
I am 7 weeks postpartum and so smelly lol
aw I miss those newborn days though xo
Postpartum hives! Anyone else?? 8pm like clockwork starting around 6mo 😯
You are great! Just a reminder ❤️
new drinking game - take a shot every time Nicole says "like" 😂
I love your content ❤️, it's just something I can't unhear since I noticed it 🤦
I experienced all of these things!! Haha my #16 would be incontinence though. I pee every time I sneeze or laugh really hard 🙄🙄🙄🙄
This is me!!!! Hahaha 😊 So real xxxx love this video xxx
So I haven’t been losing hair nor do I think I am growing hair BUT I have now been growing grey hair 😭😭 can other moms relate ? And did it ever go back or are we stuck like this
I def got some greys after having Sage
Can you share cleaning products or other products you use for sage? Like sunscreen, products to clean her high chair or bath? Thanks!
Really enjoyed this. Glad it's not just me xxxxx
I can totally relate to all 15 things 🤪
This makes me so happy that I’m not alone in these 😅
How come the closed captioning doesn’t work in this video?
I wouldn't mind a new makeup look vid. 😘
The periods.... I get no cramps but it is now nearly crime scene level. 🤣
Before I had the cramps but a reasonable level flow. 🙈 I really don't know if before or after was better. Lol.
I am 5 mths pp after twins and I feel most of these. 🙈
I'm not a mom and have ALWAYS been a sweaty person. So, now I'm scared even more of having babies lol
What body wash and lotion do you use on sage?
👙 would love a body and daily exercise update, thanks !
Thanks!
Regarding your core, do you have diastasis recti?
You'll go through another change when you finish breastfeeding with those extra hormones leaving your body and it definitely eases baby brain and other changes.
Can’t wait 🤪
Makeup look soon please!!
Ok but your dewey skin 😻
Is it worth or even possible in having a baby in 40s???
I'm concern, if I get Post-partum Depression????
Please talk to a doctor about it.
Thank you for sharing! Jesus loves you 💕 You can talk to him while you meditate 🙏
The sensitive abdomen!! I didn’t feel like that feeling of permanent owch didn’t go away till I was 3 years post partum then I got pregnant again lol 👙
Im glad Im not crazy though
"they" say the smelliness increases so baby can locate you via scent...
🤗🤗🤗
I have never been so smelly before I had a baby I have to constantly reapply deodorant 😭
No matter what deodorant I use I stink (at least I feel I do lol) 🤣
Glad I'm not the only sweaty stinky gal post partum, I was never like this before! 😅
🧜(couldn't find a bikini mojo) Would love to see your stomach post pregnancy. My whole middle got thicker and I ended up getting a belly-button hernia (not pretty).
👙😂😂 sooooo true
