  • Shot in 4K, this is the full submarine attraction at Disneyland. Walk the queue, wait for your sub to arrive, climb aboard and then experience the whole ride with a split screen to see out of both sides of the submarine simultaneously and in sync. Audio is a source / induction mix.

Nice use of split screens. It wasn't working when I was there in March so this is nice treat. Thx

I love how mostly synchronized the effects on both sides of the submarines are with the dive bubbles being the only element that isn't perfect. I also love how the windows on the left catch a tail end glimpse of what is seen of the effects in the opposite side of the vessel

I enjoyed riding the Nautilus in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, but this is actually kind of sad. It doesn't look like they've upgraded any of the "characters" like the fish and divers that were in the former ride. Nice, well put together video on your part of course, Martin.

I have noticed that some of the dialogue from this attraction was recycled from The Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT.

@@MrV41N there’s nothing wrong with it. After hearing some of the dialogue, I just wanted to point that out. Do you have a problem with people pointing stuff out?

@@MrV41N that’s not true, because if someone asks me a question, I answer their question.

For some reason I remember hearing the Beatles "Yellow Submarine" song sung during some point in this ride, and I don't remember Bobby Darin's "Beyond the Sea" being heard as prominent! Am I right or am I wrong?? Did they remove the song "Yellow Submarine" or was it never part of the ride?? Btw I may have only seen this ride maybe 3 times since it debuted.

14:28 i like these seagulls. they seem to be in every finding nemo attraction; in this ride they are on a buoy and act as a decoration for the lake, in finding nemo: the musical they were seen in the spherical bubbles after the show ends, but i don't know if they are still there now that there is a new version, in the seas with nemo and friends they are outside the pavillion and in crush's coaster at walt disney studios in disneyland paris they are atop a building in the ride's load/unload area

How do they do evacs on this ride even? There no way they can drain the lake and make you walk out of the ride.

Actually, some videos around of it. If it's the "show" parts with tunnels, catwalks that allow guests to disembark. If it's in the more open areas, they need small boats to take them in groups.

This Submarine Voyage opening music part is Nemo's egg (Main Title) by Thomas Newman.

It's basically the seas at Epcot with more scenes, a longer ride, actually in water, duologue but some reused scenes, and no song at the end
