I've stayed at the Sea Cabins every year since 1985. I love to fish and enjoyed the pier. I'm staying at Ocean Pointe in Sept and look forward to trying out a new place. Thank you for sharing these videos!
Niiice. I lived on the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach for 3 years and never made it to either end of Ocean Blvd. I plan on going back one day AT LEAST for vacation and I'll explore more. Thanks for showing this. It's awesome that beach is so empty
I missed this video, such an amazing area, and your right, hidden gem. Doesn't get much better. NMB and Cherry Grove is truly picturiesk. Hoping to add a shell for my dad at angel of hope. He passed last Dec of cancer. Hey never got to cherry Grove, but he would have loved it
So sorry for your loss. I'm sure he would have loved it too. We did another one this past weekend there, where the river and ocean meet . Should have it up soon-this week hopefully. Thanks for watching.
Your commentary is on point! That area is so beautiful! I just moved into Prince Resort recently and I’m in heaven! Cherry Grove is such an amazing place! Thanks for the video and sharing this amazing place with others!
@@francesbarnhill6400 they don’t have yearly. We moved into a snowbird to save time and money. We were driving down every week and staying 2-3 days to look for places. It was cheaper to get a snowbird. We went through Elliott for the winter rental and they don’t do year round. Check with Eagle Realty! They are some amazing ladies. If you go out of CG down sea mountain hwy, go over the bridge, then over the turning bridge, eagle is maybe a 1/4 of a mile up on the left.
That one house was owned by a vampire woman. Spooky at night. Was overgrown. Seems she finally passed away, but anyway, beautiful spot on the beach. Cops called me twice for parking there
It's really hard. We have to search as well. Sometimes we luck up, and other times we have to go get something to eat and try again later. It would be nice if they would put some down on that end though.
I was there on vacation @ condo "The place at the beach" Oct 2020, ocean Blvd like desert island, streets are empty, very few people around. So many restaurants closed, sad to see many out of bussiness. But it's very nice place, I will come back again for sure.
Thank you for recording way out there where it feels like the end of the earth in Cherry Grove. I love that place. So realistic to the way it looks when I’m walking there.🙏
Thank you for watching. This part of the beach is very different looking than most of the others around, but very beautiful too. I really liked it also. Thanks.
Love the Cherry Grove area and I have been to that spot many times. We always rented a place on 60th and every morning I would go out walking before everybody else got up. Very nice beach area around that point. Thanks for the video. What area do you guys live at? Thanks again
Just on the south end of MB, but have friends all around the Grand Strand. And we love to hang out all along the beach. So you may catch us in Murrells Inlet or NMB at any given day. If you see us, say hey. Thanks for the info.
Awesome didn’t know this existed at North Myrtle beach. Would love to see what Welcome to Myrtle Manor looks like now since they haven’t filmed in 5 years
We had to park a ways down a bit. I didn't see anything right up on it, but there were some curbside spaces close by that may have been for the general public, but I'm not familiar with that area...yet.
It is, and I'm a big advocate for that. And the ones by the ocean at this particular place has paths that go around them. The hilly part where we were are cut throughs that people walk to see the statue. But you're right, it is tranquil. Thanks for the comments.
Thanks for the video. Couple things. First you should have walked a little further to show the beauty of Hog Inlet and Waites Island. Second, is all visitors should know the sand dunes are protected by SC environmental law. Meaning it's illegal to walking on them and there is a fine if caught.
You are correct. We tried to stay directly on the path and walk around the dunes. I am planning to go check out the inlet soon. It is very beautiful. Thank you for the info and comments.
@@BeachinwiththeBoones I'm actually from this area well for last 30 year's. With the virus I've been in one place pretty much. Y'all enjoy & be safe to.
What’s the deal with that old stinky house you have to walk by on the public beach access??? We are always curious... you know the one I’m talking about?? It’s the house in the left foreground of the statue.
Yes, I know the one, but I'm not sure. I thought it was abandoned at first and I was ready to move in, but realized someone is living there. I suppose they like their privacy and let the plant-life grow up around it. I bet in its day, it was super awesome.
@@BeachinwiththeBoones yes, even in its run down state, its character still shines thru... but it smells like cat urine... such a waste!! did you film this video this week? We love this spot, you described it well!!

So Prince Resort offers long term annual rentals? I'm currently down here looking for annual rentals to move down here.

Thank you.
We vacay every year around the fourth July, usually stay near Apache pier and so peaceful!!
That's awesome! Hope you can make it this year too. Thanks.
@@BeachinwiththeBoones we'd love to hang out at the resort outdoor bar if we make it,would y'all be interested?
We'll have to see what we have planned. Sometimes it get crazy and we don't know until the day before. Let us know when you'll be down, though.
In 1975 there were no condos. My husband and the local cop were shooting at a post in the water. Totally different world.

I have tried to find public parking down there and didn't find any. Where did you park?

Used to rent in that area. Still visit there even though we now own a place in Windy Hill. You missed the best part, where the creek and ocean meet.
I think someone else said that too. I'll have to go check it out one day. That place is very pretty. Thanks for the info.
Nice beach!!! Looking to buy around Lois, how far from Cherry Grove beach?
If you are moving to Loris, SC, it's only like 30-40 minutes away.
