- I was on the fence about any kind of exhaust because the car sounds so good stock. I decided to go ahead because of some reviews and videos I have seen. I am very satisfied with the sound. It is a little louder, and the pops and crackles are AWESOME!!
Whether it's a Coyote, Voodoo or Predator, these engines are a marvel! I laugh at GMs LS sporting 1940s mechanical technology.
Laugh all you like, they're far more reliable and far more upgradable. There's a reason the LS series is without a doubt the best small block ever built. Full stop. I've nothing but love for the Voodoo, and even the coyote motors, but they'll never come close to an LS in terms of the above.
I've been watching a lot of videos as I would also like to do the resonator delete on my 19' GT350. The sound on my 15" GT/PP with a Corsa cat back was exactly what I was looking for on the 5.0. with no drone....so even with the stock mufflers on the 350 with active exhaust I think the Corsa double X give the best sound without going to a full catback...thanks for posting
Sounded best with the open headers, makes me wonder what one of these would sound like as a true dual
Was the second clip open header? That sounded a lot better than I thought it would If so.
Ian Spencer pretty sure it still had the cats on, but nevertheless it sounded great!
Sorry I didn’t see this before. The second clip was with the mid pipe removed so the cats were still on.
Video 3 sounds the best of the 3. But…….Stock sounds better. Stock has a lower pitch. More V8 like. My ‘19 came with resonator delete pipe. It was way to high pitched. Went back to stock and love it.
sounds like the stock exhaust had more crackles and pops. can you make a fly by video?
In the video it does, but driving it, the resonator delete crackles and pops a bit more. I love the way it sounds now. I would do a drive by video but its going to be raining and cold for the rest of the week. I have it covered up.
