And on Wikipedia you will discover her sad life when she was very young, beaten and abandoned in the street at 3 years old.
The most amazing talents comes always from the people who been into the worst and alot and they didnt surrender and keep fighting to make it up, thank god that she did and made it all the way up also starting from a young age to fight her way through is a hard reality that many gone through :( ; thank god she is in a better place at the moment and wishing her always the best and to be always kind to other people who is unfortunate to help them up and be an ideal to them

She also has ability to sing with polyphonic overtones which gives her her unique tone. she is from Russia she was 18 years old at the time of this performance she just recently turned 21. @@salllah91 Yes, I have just seen your reaction to The Day You and will check out your reaction to Helwa Ya Baladi (which all Arab reactors seem to like). I believe it is her only performance in Arabic but she sings superbly in French in many performances, including some of her most famous. I recommended another Brandon/Diana duet, but the settings on your channel didn't allow me to post a link to it.

This is the title of the video "Side By Side - Diana Ankudinova & Brandon Stone (Official music video)" as posted on her main channel. (You should know that even though she is only 21, there are some 900+ videos of her on YT. She has been a world class singer since she was 13, when she started giving to us her first masterpieces. She is a genius, no question.)

And has a glorious deep voice (dramatic contralto), but worked on her high register hard (unbeliveable but for her deep notes are easier, more natural). Loved your reaction. For me a good sign when 1. the music and the reactor's volume is balanced, neither is too quiet/loud 2. knows when to pause, feels the rhythm 3. knows when not to pause, just feels he/she can't interrupt, when something is too magnificent in this case :) She is singing since she is 5, in professional environment in music shows since 13. When you know how to do "overtone singing," or "polyphonic singing," you can make a LOT of very strange things happen. Different people will also hear it in different ways. I can whistle without forming my lips in the same way I would normally whistle (with my mouth "pursed" (being formed in a tight circle). Watching Dan Vasc's techniques have helped me get back a lot of my muscle memory, after nearly 12 years of only being able to sing BASS (which I could always do, but then could travel up into the highest 1st soprano ranges nearly effortlessly). Yes, I have just seen your reaction to The Day You and will check out your reaction to Helwa Ya Baladi (which all Arab reactors seem to like).
I believe it is her only performance in Arabic but she sings superbly in French in many performances, including some of her most famous.
I recommended another Brandon/Diana duet, but the settings on your channel didn't allow me to post a link to it.

Yes she is a girl. Now a young woman, 21. (18 here.) And has a glorious deep voice (dramatic contralto), but worked on her high register hard (unbeliveable but for her deep notes are easier, more natural).
Loved your reaction. For me a good sign when
1. the music and the reactor's volume is balanced, neither is too quiet/loud
2. knows when to pause, feels the rhythm
3. knows when not to pause, just feels he/she can't interrupt, when something is too magnificent in this case :)
She is singing since she is 5, in professional environment in music shows since 13.

What Diana did here doesn't have quite the same effect, but she's using some of the same techniques. When you know how to do "overtone singing," or "polyphonic singing," you can make a LOT of very strange things happen. Different people will also hear it in different ways.
After hearing this just now, I began practicing something I used to do all the time. I can whistle without forming my lips in the same way I would normally whistle (with my mouth "pursed" (being formed in a tight circle). Though my mouth must be slightly opened, it's relaxed, and the whistle is made up against the palate of my mouth, without moving my lips...only my tongue, and the back of my throat. I can whistle "Amazing Grace" in this manner, quite easily. Sometimes I will combine that with normal whistling (not both at once, though I used to be able to do that...haven't practiced it in a long time).
My daughter Judi is VERY good at polyphonic singing. I can do it if I concentrate, but not as well as she can. I used to be able to, before I lost most of my voice due to rheumatoid arthritis bending me over almost in half. Since 2017, after having both of my hip joints replaced with platinum joints, I can now walk upright again (not completely all of the time, but mostly). Plus I can now sit upright correctly -- allowing me to breathe more correctly, and sustain my breaths correctly, so that I can sing up into MOST of my previous nearly-six-octave range. Watching Dan Vasc's techniques have helped me get back a lot of my muscle memory, after nearly 12 years of only being able to sing BASS (which I could always do, but then could travel up into the highest 1st soprano ranges nearly effortlessly).
I love listening to Diana's flexibility. She is SO good!

The background of the song is essential to know. The title of the song is "Ornery (or "Fastidious" or "Finicky") Horses". The song has nothing to do with horses in reality - the horses are being used as a metaphor for life.
