  • Toronto Blue Jays "bench utility player" Davis Schneider is continuing to shock the MLB by coming up wiuth cluthc homer after clutch homer. Davis Schneider's latest clutch moment came against Josh Hader and the Houston Astros to win it for the Toronto Blue Jays. And with the Toronto Blue Jays offence starting out inconsistent to begin the year, Blue Jays fans are begging manager John Schneider to keep Davis Schneider's bat in the Toronto Blue Jays lineup. Davis Schneider just might be the player the Toronto Blue Jays have been searching for to put them over the edge.

Guys, Davis isn't THIS good. That management knows it, they must, why else keep doing this? Biggio has had 3 seasons of .700 OPS. . But Davis is fine when pitchers are looking past him like Hadar who purposely threw around Turner to get to Davis. Once Pitchers gameplan Davis, u remember his 0-34? That's what will probably happen again. That said, if you produce you should play the next time. Its common sense. But this management is pathetic and always show their ass. in 2001 I went to a garage sale. I found a baseball in a plastic protective display case. I paid a buck for it. It had a bunch of signatures on it, but I did not have my reading glasses with me. I put it up on top of a kitchen cupboard and forgot about it for roughly 4 months or so. When I rediscovered it I put on my reading glasses and was pleased to find the1993 World Champion Blue Jays signatures. As proof of authenticity, Bobby Cox, the Manager for the Braves and former manager of the Blue Jays in the 80's, also signed it. Just because he was a good player, he was a TERRIBLE manager and he is the reason for Schnieder's mistakes last season. You guys are too wet behind the ears to see how Mattingly is the problem. We went from one of the best hitting teams in baseball to the worst - 2 runs in 3 games!!! - the problem is Adkins hasn't a clue when he got Mattingly, because he never played, stars in his eyes, this team is young and listening to the so called "icon" Can Mattingly now before the season is a write off

The biggest coaching mistake in the wild card last year was not pulling Berrios, it was keeping Schneider on the bench.

Reality is Davis is a journeyman player with really baseball teams. But because the jays are what they are the fan base is begging for anyone that can hit a ball. Davis is a piece player but the fact we treat him like the saviour is nuts and shows you just how bad this team is

Exactly .. yeah he won us a game that they had no business winning. The 2 Altuve blunders and the pinch runner falling between bags. But end of the day Davis Schneider is a bench player on any real team in the majors. KK didn’t get any offers in the off season because at his age and with the lack of bats he’s a 4th OF at best on any competitive team. The Jays build their lineups with some What If they bounce back guys

@@Tango21C atkins can believe whatever he wants…but now the dude needs to face reality and be fired. I would have said save Shapiro but his constant backing of atkins shows he needs to go too. Shapiro is right, they have made the playoffs the last 3 years but how many games they win, and he disregard for the lack of winning shows poop runs downhill in this organization. Time to flush the toilet 🚽
