- Angry Birds Go is a kart racing game based on the original game, developed by Exient Entertainment and published by Rovio Entertainment, released on November 15th, 2013 (in some markets). The 3D adventure is a downhill, soapbox cart racer where you can play as nearly all the characters from the Angry Birds series. Some might say that was just another “MarioKart clone,” but the game actually had tons of excellent features and mechanics. The original release is beloved by fans, including the innovative and now famous Telepods mechanic. However, most believed that Commonwealth plushies were never commissioned, as Go! Was simply overlooked by the higher-ups at Rovio. With hindsight, we now know that wasn’t the case. In fact, Commonwealth originally planned to release an entire set of plushies based on the game. And in today’s video, we take a deeper look into not only the game and it’s corresponding merchandise; but also the obscure, unreleased Commonwealth plushies. This video will include analysis and postulations.

I never knew that there were angry birds go plushes! GO was one of my favorites back before update 2.0, I would've loved to have one! I'm very curious to see this, and I'm sure it'll be a great video!

When I was younger I honestly thought go plush would have existed it would have been so easy, just take classic red and put some sunglasses on him, put a racing helmet on chuck. etc
Nice to see The Angry Birds Go Plush finally get the exposure they deserve. It's utterly baffles me that LITERALLY NO ONE took a single picture of the plush! It's a shame that they fortunately met the same fate as the Star Wars 2 plush. As they're probably locked away in Commonwealth's or Rovio's storage rooms for the rest of time.

@@MaximusOverdrive Anytime. I still can't believe I finally found them after many years. Out of all the places to find them, I found them on a video about WIKIBEAR of all things. A video from Toy Fair 2014 to be exact.

I can't believe Angry Birds Go plushies were planned to release but never did, it's mind blowing that not a single person has noticed this until now, glad to see your extremely well edited videos back :).
I'll never understand how a Angry Birds Star Wars two never got it's plushes released even though the original wave are the most common Angry Birds plushies to find appart from the main wave
Truly baffles me how we've ended up here. It's a good thing these came to light, otherwise they might have become "lost to time." The Star Wars II set certainly would have been successful, considering how well the first set sold. Not sure what was happening behind the scenes at Commonwealth, but clearly something wasn't right.

There was also a promotion in europe with croissant company Chipicao. They made 100 discs (10 being metalic) and the croissants would be in unique packiging based off of the what they were promoting. They made promotions for the original game (I have one of chuck from it), AB go (I have stella and bubblss) and the movie (I think I have 2 and lost 1 of them). They made more of these even for spongebob, despicable me and more.
Those plushies look cool, I really wish they released. Also my man back again.
I'm pretty sad that these plushies got cancelled, I would've loved to have that King Pig plush with the Toons design

Glad your happy that I’m back, but that Mattel follow up has been cancelled. It was over 3 years ago and my style of video has drastically changed since then. It wouldn’t make sense to do it now.
Interesting video to say the least. I'm still a big angry birds nerd and i will always love the plushies (especially commonwealths). I loved angry birds GO! as a kid so seeing what could've been is really cool. I think them releasing the Stella line was the best option though. Instead of getting birds or pigs we already had just in helmets, carts, or whatever, we got an all girls line up with the designs from the show. There's been a lack of females anyhow. Keep doing what your doing pal.

I made those Mattel videos 2 years ago. My format and editing style have drastically changed since then, so going back and finishing the series out of nowhere would be weird to say the least. Perhaps one day I'll go back and do it all again.

I didn’t specifically say they were, but one could infer based upon what I had said that I wasn’t sure if they were at first, but could confirm they were after seeing them in HD.

Well in my opinion 2.0 wasn’t too bad but it wasn’t as good but you can download the old version with a apk
I just realized that two extremely boring Toy Fair Videos Revealed unreleased Angry Birds stuff, the first one in 2011 revealed Foreman Pig, Matilda and possibly Corporal Pig Backpack Clips, the 2014 one revealed Angry Birds Star Wars Wave 2 and Angry Birds GO! Plushes.

Despite the content that I make, Fruit Ninja is actually my favorite mobile game. I especially love the arcade version, thus the inclusion of the FX2 machine.
These guys were probably made as a joke. Stella says releasing in 2014.
And the Star wars 2 plush toys were probably released in Dubai. Which means rovio wasn't happy with them. Go probably meant a different fate. Either stuffed in warehouses, destroyed, or trashed. Either way I wish these guys released they looked good
My theory is that they were a stepping stone for toons plushies.They did use toon designs but commonwealth probably thought that they could just release the toons plushies

I wonder if Star Wars 2 or go plushes would have sold better than the Stella plush since the angry birds Stella game performed the worst out of the 3
They certainly would have. The plushies historically have sold as well as the game they're based off. Stella was heavily marketed towards a specific demographic, alienating much of the fanbase. Star Wars and Star Wars II had a broad appeal not only to those in the AB community but in pop culture as well. No doubt in my mind, they would have sold. Not sure what was going on at Commonwealth, but I believe they made a mistake.
