I just listened to basement, and if you listen to floral green and shed by title fight. It sounds like basement downright copied title fights style. I means not like how modest mouse takes inspiration from built to spill. It sounds to similar.
Both bands poured their heart and souls into both of their own separate projects love em both. They both played this style of music in their own way and nailed it so good you probably get thaaaat Title fight got me through a hard time and I always find myself coming back when another hard time hits
it amazes me that like Hyperview came out after this where this was such a return to form to Shed. idk probably my favorite Title Fight release to date.
Not saying that hypervision wasn't a great album, but I was kinda hoping they would've kept up with the sound from this album. In my opinion, this was the perfect follow up to Floral Green.
