Mine came out of the box as you showed. Tech installing assumed bad battery. I got replacement and tried and tried and nothing. Quick search and I find your video and it was like a light bulb moment! Of course there has to be contact on both sides! Pulled tab up and slipped battery underneath and works fine. Thanks
The solution works! I am still not sure if the terminal was 'supposed' to go on top like how its described here, but I dont care, it works and that's all there is to it!
The issue wasn’t from manufacturing, we must Forced it down by mistake. So that’s why there was no contact on the positive on the top. Thank you for supporting my channel, with all of your help we can get to 1k subscribers! We are so close!
Hi Jake, you are right about the sides being positive. The way these batteries are sheared through me off, all batteries like that the positive are on the sides.

This is inaccurate. The positive side of the battery wraps down the side. They wouldn’t install them that way if it weren’t the case.
