Mindset is everything, but it isn’t always easy to keep it positive. You got this! You are an inspiration for me dealing with a chronic illness, thank you for your videos. :)
I am just recently getting out of my seasonal funk too. I have been taking a vitamin D gummy by the brand “OLLY” called Hello Happy & I think it’s been helping my mood, between that and actual sunshine coming through and I’ve started journaling again. Thanks for sharing & being open about your struggles! 🤍
Hi Kayla, I’m an occupational therapist and an ostomy management specialist and came across your channel. I appreciate you making videos to support the community. Stress and anxiety are very common yet not many are willing to admit and share their feelings. I hope you are doing well and if there is anything I can do to support you, let me know. Jeffrey Despommier, OTR, OMS, CUA, ATP
Hi Jeffrey! Nice to meet you! I'm happy you found my video helpful! It is definitely so hard to share, especially while going through it, but I know talking about it can make it easier for myself to deal with, as well as, make others feel not as alone!
Great question! I was SO worried about working outside of my home, but I recently got a job waitressing and I love it! I still have to empty my bag at work depending on how tight my clothes are (how noticeable my bag gets as it fills) but overall, I have so much more energy now than I did with UC and much less bathroom trips, so the transition back to working was easier than I thought it would be!
