Hi I collect vintage Gucci and Louis Vuitton the best thing I’ve used is putting baking soda inside cotton bags or little socks and leave it for a few weeks it removes every smell 👃🏼 anyway great review thx

Tried this today and it only took a couple hours and the bag smells one thousand times better. I'm going to air it outside (without the beads) too. Thank you so much for this video! I recently purchased a preloaded Speedy 40, which smelled horrible. The seller had an air freshener inside the bag, but it still smelled bad. I did exactly what you suggested & added a scoop of Downey sented beads for a week & the bag now smells wonderful!!
Hunter- while unconventional, I am here to report your suggestion of the laundry scent beads worked! A mild dish soap and scrub, then dry completely, and I used charcoal bags to absorb the smell before putting in the scent beads. My LV smells like fresh laundry and I love it! OMG this W O R K S!!! I shuck the snot out of my LV multi accessorie bag and then I left it in a huge 2 gallon ziplock bag for a week and every night I would shake the snot out of it to move the scented beads around the bags. And HONEYYYYYYYYY it works I couldn’t believe it. Then I use a little antibacterial soap and warm water to wipe my bags and BOOM💥 THIS GUY SAVED MY WHOLEEEEEE Life!!!! I have this Trouville and I can't get the smell out and starting to second guess if I used the Baking soda method the right way. (I have tried so many other methods) Everyone talked about a melted crayon smell.....but I would not describe it like that, so I will just go for a smell that I can't get out. I've been working at this for 2 months now. (sealed up in a plastic bag for week increments--dryer sheets--paper--febreeze--wiped down vinegar--charcoal (I made little packets) baking soda (put the whole box in there)--air freshener in gel form--and airing it out now. Carried the purse for 3 weeks. I don't think I have even one minus quell taken the smell out! I haven't tried this method, but will. Thank You ( :
I have gotten smoke smells out with bags of baking powder and then every other day placing fresh orange peels in the bag for a week. It removes the small and replaces it with a fresh smell. I store the bags I am going to work on with a fresh linen smell canister.

I just purchased a keepall 60 and the interior is gorgeous but the smell is terrible!!! Haven’t tried anything yet but I hope this helps I will update how it goes!
okay it’s been about 48 hours since I’ve done this and the smell is completely GONE I shook the bag up a few times and left it zipped up the entire time definitely recommend this such a quick fix!

Someone gave me this tip and it worked for my mini lin red long alma: magic eraser. Wet the magic eraser and wring until damp. Gently wipe at dirt marks. Go around the lv monogram as much as possible. It may take a few rounds depending on type of stain ❤

I'm carrying one and the smell is so strong to me I know others around me smell it. I have leather conditioned the inside when I got it and outside thinking it would help, it didn't. So, I am here lol
@joeb4586 I wiped it down with no alcohol and scented wipes, not a baby powder scent because I don't like that scent, sprayed it with febreez inside and out, put scented beads inside it along with and open box of baking soda then hing it out on my covered back porch for a few days, not in the sun but just out under my covered porch so it could be aired out and yes it worked. I was determined to get the smell out and doing all the above worked well.
I LL bet you Claire burke original ,would work too .it's so clean smelling ,and STRONG.and last forever but I again don't wanna smoke perfume hahaha .but that Claire burke is awesome I use it all thru my home.apple jack and peel , Christmas memories,lavander ,but my fav is still the original. I'm desperate and will try ANYTHING! My Speedy was held in a storage pod for two years by another person. I don't know what happened, but when I got it back, it had an overwhelming, toxic chemical smell they has seemed to grow stronger over the years. I know, it sounds crazy, right? It's like it is possessed or something. It smells plasticky, but much, much worse - like bug spray or something. It is so bad now I can no longer use my Speedy and it breaks my heart. All clothing and other bags absorb this odor in my closet. It's to the point I have thought about actually throwing it away - no way would anyone buy it with this odor.

No their are bags that just have a vintage smell, but a lot of the bags that come from japan are the ones that have the mold/mildew smell.....smells like fertilizer almost.
I just did used the Downey ones today. They smell like fabric softner. I got the outdoor fresh scent (yellow top) and really like it. A little goes a very long way as they are extremely potent.

I have a chemical sensitivity and I’m trying to remove the perfume smell from my bag because perfume smells give me migraine. The scented beads will give me a migraine for a week 😔 I’d rather smell mildew, like I obviously do not like that but it doesn’t give me a head ache.

The old bag smell is usually mold, ( I doubt if you enjoy the smell of mold?).

What about a wallet that smells? I washed the canvas and zipper and put dryer sheet inside but the smell is still there.
Open it up & put it in a plastic bag with the beads and just shake it up every couple of days. It will do wonders for it.
