I bought a Rove DL last year and I finished my first century on it a couple of weeks ago. Great all-arounder, that bike will do just about anything I would need a bike to do. Very comfortable and road capable too.
Drop bars are very capable with the right tires, I’ve rode mine everywhere. I like it cause you can take out on a ride and pretty much transition to anything. Cool video! Rodneys a beast !
Ecellent! I've had my Kona dew for about 7 years and thinking about putting some drop bars like this on it it . This Bike is flawless I just started riding again alot more. What type of bars are these I might get these they seem perfect.
Im debating on the Kona Rove or the new Surly Ghost Grappler coming out soon. Im kinda leaning towards the Rove as i want something that i could road ride with if needed. Let me know what you think
The Rove is obviously the milder mannered of the two and I've seen guys locally do lots of road miles on them. I've shown you here that the Rove is still plenty capable on the trail. I actually have 2 lightly used Roves in 56cm for sale at the shop that we could even ship if interested. Let me know.
I tried some and I'm not against it. It's more like what we call in motorbiking, every motorcycle can do gravel road, even ninja if it has appropriate tires, but do you really enjoy it? Probably not. It's just to prove some kind of point and to be different, but on the end of the day, we know what each bikes natural habitat is.

Perfect gravel bicycle and perfect video!!!
This looks a lot more fun, but it's funny to see the mountain biker causally cruise along while you hold on for dear life
Dude that was awesome! I have a Hei Hei and a Rove! Need to have more Kona drop bar vids on singletrack! Just heightens my anxiety level a few levels!

Naw actually I really do enjoy it. It's definitely not something I want to do for every trail ride, but its a blast.
