It annoys me when people say the iPhone 6 plus is too big. There are over 5 android phones with 5.5" screens but nobody mentions those.
Except the LG G3 is smaller than the iPhone 6 plus with the same display size.

Its 'okay' for samsung because they have been making bigger phones for some time but for apple it was a big ass leap, especially because apple was notorious for making the smaller but yet more powerful phone.

Bobby Lazlo Why? Androids are way better. From functionality to usability, they're miles ahead of the iPhone. You should get the HTC One M9 launching in March. I promise you, you won't be disappointed. :)

AnimeFan My first phone was an android, it was alright but there was no good apps on the Google play store, the phone was confusing to use, the design looked awkward. It was a good android but it wasn't well known. I remember it being waterproof or something, that was alright. My next phone (right now) is an iPhone which I got in April 2014 and it has honestly been pretty lag, the fricking thing got reset on me when iOS 8 came out, but either than that it is an ok phone. But it was outdated when I bought it, too. I'm not really a fan of android, and Fido doesn't give good androids (I don't think) I'll probably go with a iPhone 6 64gb because my whole family has Apple and it's hard having 1 android and a lot of apples.
Bobby Lazlo Well the first Android you got was at that time was ok. Now, it's improved significantly. All the apps that are on iOS are now on Android. Most phones are lag free, especially the Nexus or the HTC devices. For your next upgrade, you should think about getting an Android, mostly again, the latest Nexus or HTC device. :)

I just got the six plus about a month ago and the battery life is probably my favorite thing about it. I'm a pretty heavy internet user and I'm always on youtube or social media or searching the web (almost always on wifi). My battery can last through the day easily, and still have charge left over for the next morning if I need to! yay
I know, I'm very late to the game here but I finally got the iphone 6s plus! I upgraded from an iphone 4s so it was a huge difference.

Thanks for a great walkthrough. I'm so happy Apple seems to have taken a completely different stance to video and photo grading. Everything from the new cameras now look more photo like, with a much more consistent, flatter exposure, and a more mature overall grading. Nice.
I'm especially interested in the HDR video mode. I'd be happy if you put up a few tests of that, in different situations where it makes, or does not make sense. Cheers again. Keep it up.

Ah, the days when 16GB is enough and 128GB is the largest of storage options.
I mean, even back then, people were starting to complain that 16GB was too small for the base model. Didn’t help that Amazon launched the Fire Phone earlier that year with 32GB as the base model instead of 16GB.

Ignorance is a bliss...$199 with 2-year contract that charges around $60 a month for data, talk, and text. You can't buy a different phone for the next 2 years with the contract.
Thomas Seagal in europe they don't have contracts so their prices are always discussed based on buying it outright with no contract. he is not stupid
snoopyloo101 We do have contracts, but we can choose refresh contracts where we can upgrade at anytime during the contract. So say I got an iPhone 5s in june, Im paying my contract the world is good, then the iPhone 6 and six plus come out, so I decide to upgrade even though I just started a contract, I can just trade in my handset and contract for a new one. Simple.
I think I said "contract" a liftle too much there haha.
I think i'm gonna pick up a normal sized iPhone 6.

Aye, for me, the answer is simple, it depends on what you have, i already have an iPad mini retina as well as an Mac mini (2012), an iPhone 6 Plus would make me question why i even have an iPad mini in the first place so an normal sized iPhone is a nice compromise.
I also tried both models in person just recently, both felt nice in my hands esp the smaller model but sometimes, i feel that i could break the thing just by mental tought alone since it's so thin and light.
And where do you live anyway?, i live in Singapore (nice place with nice people but we always complain about every single thing), we are one of the first countries to recieve the iPhone on launch day and like almost everywhere else, there is lines wherever there is an iPhone.
I got the 6+ Gold 64 gb! I love it !!! My cousin that lives with me has the 6 space gray . I'm glad I switched from the Galaxy s5 to this ! More smoother and no lag ! Simple but good .
Your review helped me make my decision to get the 6plus. I tried 2 Galaxy S4 because I like the size. After viewing this comparison I know understand the issue. I prefer the simplicity of the iPhone and the 6plus looks to deliver what is lacking in my iPhone 5. I did not wait for the 5s which my husband did. I didn't see the big difference until I used his for a phone cal...huge difference! I look forward to getting the 6plus as soon as possible. Thanks for the help.

I've had the iPhone 6 for about two weeks now because I had to sell my 5s to a friend and got this one as hand down, but I get my upgrade in two weeks so I'm planning on getting the 6plus. mainly because I can watch twitch in full HD and keyboard size. Thanks DetroitBorg on this video, helped me make sure I want the 6plus.

Really? You're getting an iPhone because of the battery life? Dude, get an Android phone. Battery lasts for more than a day if you turn off useless features and it will show you what is actually consuming the battery.

Maybe when there's no camera or face id cutout and it's just all screen, or the removal of the chargeport.
I switched from my 128GB Galaxy S6 to my new iPhone 6 128GB because my GS6 was already lagging and apps were already crashing.. Previously I had an iPhone 5s and apps never crashed and it never lagged. So glad I switched back to a familiar OS.
My mom and dad have 6+ and I have a s6 but personally I like the s6 better and I had a s6 for over a month and no lagg at all.
I really think your lying. Galaxy s6 hardly lags with touch wiz about 40% down or something. You probably got a knockoff lol jk

The good thing about the iPhone 6 and 6 plus- it doesn't really matter what colour you have. With the iPhone 5s it showed more, so it mattered more so you would want the colour you preferred. However, with the new iPhone's, it doesn't really matter because you can only really see any of the colour on the back.

I have a galaxy note 2 and i want to switch to iphone because of the simplicity of the os and because I want a smaller phone. Big phones are not so convenient even tho I preferred big screens... but I'd rather get a 5s because I think it's the most beautiful phone apple has ever made, perfect design, perfect cute size. Is it still worth it ? Should I get an iPhone 6 instead ?
If you want simplicity, go with the Nexus 5. You'll get a fairly small screen, the OS will be simpler than ever after you update to Android 5.0. You get the best of both worlds. :)

Saly Wu Well it shouldn't really be about just design. It's about the functionality. Apple + Samsung have the best marketing tactics to lure people in. :/ So all the companies that deserve more don't get it.
Edison Tsang Yea i was actually concerned that going from a 5.5'' display to a 4'' would be quite disturbing that's why i was thinking of having the iphone 6 instead but i actually tried the 5s in a apple store and i really liked how it felt in my hand. very light, nice design and the display in spite of being quite small was very neat and pleasing. i think i'll go for it. In terms of performances it's basically the same phone with different sizes and design.

Lol. The 6 is better though. Better battery and Lasts longer in terms of iOS updates. Your lucky. I have to save up for my phones. It gives me control over what I want to get though. I have a 4s but I kind of made myself promise to myself that I would either save up all my money until September next year (and I mean literally all of it) and get another iPhone (kind of failed now. I'm not bad at saving tbh, but sometimes there are things that I have been debating for years whether or not to get) or save it up two years, with the majority of the money from the second year and then get another iPhone.

I will probably just go with the standard iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 Plus looks great but I like my phones to feel less cumbersome in my pocket. If I need a bigger screen, I will just pull out a tablet. That said, I will just have to wait till I get hands on with both and feel how they feel in the pocket before making a final decision.
have to agree, and strapping a 6s to your body when going for a run is impossible. I just wish they updated the 5s by keeping the size but follow this new seamless design.

This iphone aged terribly, as it got older it got worse and worse. The one i had bent, scratched, the laminate from the screen separated, it was always in a otterbox and wasn’t really dropped

I think I'd get the iPhone 6. 4.7" is a great size for a phone screen. I have an ipad mini for watching movies.
I thought I wanted the 6 plus until I actually held it in my hand. Yeah 1080p would've been nice but not at that size. The 4.7" 6 was the perfect fit. Can't go wrong with either though.

I got a 6 for Christmas and couldn't be happier. I'm glad I said I wanted the 6 because in my opinion, I think a 5+ inch screen is just giant. Plus, I have an iPad MIni already, so getting a phone like the iPhone 6 Plus would render my iPad Mini useless. I upgraded from my 5 and couldn't believe how much of a difference .7 inches has made. Plus, I love how much faster it's been at such tasks as surfing the web and other things. The 5 wasn't bad at doing those things, but it's nice to have some sort of speed improvements. So far, I have loved the bigger screen, better cameras (love the 240FPS slow motion video and 60FPS 1080p video!), better battery life (much better than my 5 has been since iOS 8; I can now easily get at least 1.5-2 days of battery life with light to moderate usage), as well as Touch ID (which has been flawless; only I can't take advantage of Apple Pay yet since my bank is a smaller, local bank which I don't even know if/when they will support it). Overall, I've been nothing but impressed so far!
I got my iPhone 6 in July 2015 and I'm still just as happy with it as I was when I unboxed it on my channel. I still have until July 2017 until my contract is over so I will probably wait for the 7s+/8+
