For years, he has antagonised all prospective coalition partners as if the Netherlands were a winner-takes-all duopoly like the US. It's more probably that a coalition government emerges that leaves Wilders, once again, in the opposition.

Many people with an Islamic background here in the Netherlands have voted for Wilders. There is always an assumption that people with a migration background would be left-progressive; they are not, but the left often presents it as if that would be the case. Many Muslims are actually conservative and have no interest in feminism, LGBTQ rights, and even topics like "the climate" does not appeal to them.
When you ask Muslims why they vote for Wilders, it is because he is the only one who stands for secular values and the only politician who addresses the space that religion occupies in public space, and how vocal that is, and that nobody else mentions it. There are weekend (Quran) schools that engage in indoctrination, teaching anti-rule of law and anti-democratic things to children. There is also a group of Muslims who simply want to lead their own life in the Netherlands without orthodox Islam, but this group is also let down by the left. You never hear the left talk about secular values.
Then, after the elections, a few hundred people gathered to protest against the election results. This group consists exclusively of wealthy, white Dutch people shouting 'you are not alone.' People with a migration background are not among them; it is fear-mongering and demagogic scare tactics. A Muslim columnist wrote the following about this demonstration: 'I do not need your rich-left, condescending pity! Cry your heart out if you want, but stop once and for all with your racist, infantile, despicable sanctimony of low expectations; we are not the ethnic cuddly toys to serve your elite tears.'"
The left was a good ideology 30-40 years back when racism and oppression of the minorities are at peak..Today,especially in the internet age,it has just become an anti-national or anti-populist sentiment..Its only filled with mass protests,lgbtq and anything controversial they can latch onto just to be in the media and press..It has failed its actual purpose which was to become a voice to the voiceless,to the poor and oppressed of the society..

I'm foreign (with a hobby of learning national anthems) and I've noticed something very interesting about the Netherlands national anthem (which has no written record on the internet):
In all the recordings I've heard from before 1980, the last line of the anthem is sung like this: "he eb ick-al tijt ge erd" (here each word represents one note). "Heb" is sung over two notes, and "ick-al" is sung faster as two half notes. But now, it's sung as "heb ick al tijt ge ert" (here each word represents one note). "Heb", "ick" and "al" are sung over three separate notes.
I'm very curious to know when and why exactly this change occurred, who did it, and any other information about this. I haven't been able to find anything about this anywhere.
If any of you people know anything about this, then please help. Pleaseeeee

I lived and worked in the Netherlands for many years and I know very well, now there are about 1 million Muslims who hang out all day long, pray and build mosques and live on state welfare and do nothing, unemployed, mostly Moroccans and Turks, so they the Dutch went crazy because they work and pay taxes to the state and that's why people voted for Gert Wilders, I would do the same in their place.

THE SOLUTION TO THE EU IS SIMPLE. The EU needs to remove/delete all the sections about asylum-seekers and immigration from the EU agreement and allow each country to manage, create their own laws, regarding asylum-seekers and immigration for their own country.
