I've had the same rx /tx issue. Loaded the wrong rx target by mistake. A lot of the iflight / flywoo elrs rx don't actually use flywoo or iflight targets... I'm sure it's beta they use. Can't remember now. But if you connect the rx to the configurator by WiFi , you can see the correct rx target. But WiFi connection only, not usb.

I crashed a drone 6 years ago onto the mud when the tide was out I could not find it for two tides luckily when I found the battery had ejected so there wasn't any power and I was able to reuse almost all the parts including the motors just replaced the bearings.
I did remove the baro as it was causing i2c errors.
You can reset the buttons on a RadioMaster as well. That's all EdgeTX. Still plastic gimbals, and let's see inside... I have my doubts.
I had same issue with one of my drones, failsafe within 10meters and dropped in salt water too. Used crossfire module on the back of my tx12 and turned out in my case that the issue was that this drone was the only one running the rx on dynamic mode whereas the other were set on 50Hz. After rebuilding it and set the new rx on 50Hz never had that issue anymore.
Everything on that drone was gone beside the frame and motors😅😅

My boxer max. The gimbals were hard to give up but the t15 feels right to me in hand. The switches and shoulder buttons are just easy to reach and that screen….
Crossfire will fly alot further than that with no antenna, think you have a FW issue or badRX
I'm getting really poor range with goggles x and vtx v2. Any tips? FCC is unlocked and set to 1200.
I can't believe I'm just now seeing this! I always try to stay current on MadsTech videos! I must be working too much lol! If I'd have seen this in time, I probably wouldn't have ordered another O3 AU due to dji ban panic mode shopping in the middle of the night 🤦♂️
Also. If anyone cares, I have crashed an O3 vtx into the Bonneville Salt Flatts (fully submerged) and sprayed distilled water and 90% alcohol into it afterwards and it still works great! Everything else was replaced but O3 still going miles out no problem! And the Salt flats when flooded, are obviously very bad for electronics! The xt60 was fully corroded by the time I got to it! Just a testament to dji quality.
does seawater eat things if kept under? the conventional wisdom used to be if you drop a camera into water, take a bucket and present the thing to the camera technician while still underwater in the bucket. if you didn't expose it to air until the last second before cleaning, would the damage have been less severe?
Pretty sure metal can corrode underwater
I do however recommend rinsing it off or submerging in demineralised/distilled water before drying

5:30 did you not conformal coat the electronics and spray the Flywoo spray on the rest? Maybe this is what China need to invent to withstand salt water better.

on the field where there are no people I set failsafe to 2-3 sec, so it doesn't come down with mirco failsafes.1sec or what is set in Betaflight on default is simply too little, my opinion😉

You can’t protect from salt water outside a sub

After the original Jumper T16 Quality Build Fiasco I decided to go with the Higher quality built RadioMaster TX16S.... Have never looked back. Since Jumper put a bad taste in my mouth i'd never buy a Jumper product.
If I had 3 seconds of latency between my eyes and muscles.... I couldn't walk without being run over.... or falling off a cliff
