I do like the concept that regular people are volunteering to help to keep the peace. In other parts of the world people volunteering in the fire Dpt. or in hospitals. Dealing with dangerous characters is another thing all together. Maybe in UK is a little different since a lot of professional cops don't even carry guns. In any case and with the drug dealing nowadays, I wouldn't take my chances going after dangerous people without a hand gun, at least. Nevertheless, this people are providing a service to their community and they are very brave. What I don't understand is why any member of the armed forces (the three of them), are not doing this volunteering work before they become soldiers. Civilians are doing that and they seem to be doing a wonderful job at it. Greetings from Toronto.
