@@TheRickDickinson thanks mate, a year out of racing and sickness thrown in made it tough to get up to speed, but I have to admit it was the first time I’d felt the effects of absence from racing and a loss of ability, kind of scary really, I’m going to have to stay up to speed from now on.

Man there comes a time with this kind of thing where you say to yourself. ‘Have I gotten enough out of it?’ And to get more out of it how much more of myself do I have to put into it? And then you do the calculation and decide if it’s worth it or not for you in that moment of your life.
Sometimes the calculation is simple, I’ve gotten as much as I really want out of it and out as much as I wanted ti into, time for the next thing.
I’m gunna switch to smaller bikes for awhile, and thinking of switching attention back to tracking the cars.
Pretty much hit the nail on the head Steven! I did some pitbike racing at the weekend, but pretty sure I just want to have a bit of a break from the bikes 🤷 Going to buy a fun car, see how I get along 😀

Tbh, I don't think anything can replace the racing. Lining up on the grid, with 30/40 other racers, piling into corners, on the edge of grip, at stupid speeds. With the cost of a mistake, potentially being very painful. Hugely rewarding and, probably, irreplaceable!
