Alleluia!!!!! Our Jesus the Best. And Steve Morse and Deep Purple and his/incredible guitar technics........ From the remotest region of North-East India.
I remember buying this CD when it was first released, over 20 years ago. I am a huge Joe Satriani fan. Massive fan. So I was excited to listen to Joe's song. It turns out that I ended up liking this tune by Steve Morse far more than everything else on the album. Still my favorite Christmas instrumental.
i've been looking years for this song. it reminds me of my best friend who passed away for 4 years. this song is a treasure and i'm happy that i finally found it...
Stuff like this reminds us that the vast majority of humanity will live, strive through life and die without ever knowing what it's like to be this good at anything, or ever doing anything that impresses and delights other people or makes their spirits soar like this. We all get to live our entire lives out, wondering what it must be like to ever achieve anything remotely approaching this, without ever expressing what was born within.
hyjyljyj Well, seems to me that you’re an incredibly gifted writer who is actively using your gift to remind others of why we should. And that’s a great thing that we do have, so thank you! :)
That's deep! A lot of us feel we're not remarkable or good enough. But given that human beings are all unique and differently gifted, we can be if we're fully connected and true to who we are. I know a lot of unremarkable people who others won't give a second look, but you spend enough time with them, and you come to the realization that 'ordinary' people are capable of incredible things! From my experience, we need more conviction and courage to stay the course, and the right kind of environment to bring out the best in us we know is there.
Like it on 25 Dec 2020. What a sound, the mid part sounds is Eric Johnson tone almost like Cliff Of Dover. Wow amazing, no other renditions of JOTW better than this.
@@TheRadioAteMyTV it did, this came out after I was married, Cliffs of Dover when I was single and hadn't even met my wife yet, we lived together for 5 years before we got married so yup big gap between the two:-)
@@num2166 Congratulations on the wedding and may there never be a big gap between you two! I should look up the release dates. I was hoping you would do that but apparently you were too busy getting married. LOL.
Fantastic. This displays the arranging skills, musical integrity and execution that makes good old Mr Morse stand out from the crowd in today's world of guitar technicians.
10th December,2020. Steve Morse's work is legendary indeed! I even once used the intro part for my phone's ringtone! A va nalh tak a ni, hmaan atangin ka ngaithla ziah, Krismas a hnaih tawh dek2 hi chuan :)
By far my favourite version of this song. Even though it is Morse, it really sounds exactly like Eric Johnson. If I didn't know it was Morse I would lose money betting it was Johnson.
Merry Christmas to Mr Steve Morse and Family....This is oe of the best rendition of Joy to the world ever heard.. i got the Merry Axemas Cd as a gift from my friend in 2005 and i am glad to have it coz i have wanted to listen to this song since many years back. Why does'nt Mr Morse bring out a full Xmas album?

I love this song! Steve Morse play this chrismassong near to the original, what Joe Satriani didn´t. From the hole cd, this track is the best (imo). Thanks for loading it up

Really hard to pick a favorite, but something about this one I think puts it over the top.
I too bought this when it came out, being g a huge Steve and Joe fan, but THIS and Blue Christmas by Joe Perry were the real prizes of the album.

Let every heart prepare him room
And heaven'n nature sing

While fields and floods rocks hills and plains

No more let sins and sorrows grow
Nor thorns infest the ground
He comes to make his blessings flow
Far as the curse is found
Far as the curse is found
Far as Far as the curse is found

He rules the world with truth and grace
And makes the nations prove
The glories of his righteousness
And wonders of his love
