First of all, ty dude! awesome video, was kinda struggling with packing and unpacking but got everything done already. Just so you guys know, I didnt have to edit anything on ''Join1" and everything is working just fine, lives and credits showing properly, already finished the game twice in Normal mode. So yeah, unpack > edit ''levels'' and ''drago'' and save > repack again > edit packed file name to match the same as the one u used for unpacking (feel free to save a copy of the original file first if u want to) > and enjoy!!! Currently checking if there is any way of editing characters stats like Strength and so on
Hello, I'm glad you got it working and sorry if I didn't explain how to unpack and repack, I don't remember if I mention it in the video to go back to an old video to learn about unpacking since I wanted to just get to the point of editing. For the stats I think you can edit them in the data > chars > players > "character name" > ".txt" file.
I'm using a version that adds shortcut buttons for specials, but some characters' specials don't work, as if they were set incorrectly. Do you have any idea where I should start changing them to make the specials work correctly on the shortcut buttons?

@@leonxxiong Yes, they did, but they changed the special bar to always stay full. I don't particularly like this change and would like the vanilla game with just this special button shortcuts option. I think I'll try to make my own version 🤔
@@bradpilgrim5821 Use the Borpak extractor/compiler to pack everything back into a .pak file once you edit your scripts. You would use the "makepack.bat" to compile everything back to .pak file. Are you talking about original pak file update? or the pak that is edit with lives and credits? I'm sorry but I don't have a file storage that will upload the pak with edit. You will have to edit the script yourself. Everything else is on the video description below.
Game is fun but unnecessarily hard at times. I will try to add credits. Although, my thumb starts to hurt after doing a fireball motion 1000 times every 1 minute lol
Hey @shohibkohgadai8065, I haven't tried out android but I think its pretty much same concept as desktop method. Only difference is you have to load the pak file to your android, so if you can edit the file on your desktop and load it in your android it should work.....
There is but you will have to do a search on youtube "unlock all characters fflns" or something like that and it should tell you or link you to a patch.

I followed every step and nothing changed. Is there any explanation for that? Such as a setting from Notepad?
What's wrong? Please be specific. Did you save your changes when you edit? Did you compile everything after you save your edit?

Great game but having only 1 credit for normal mode onwards is too difficult. I would change it to 5 or 7 to still make it competitive.

I'm pretty sure it works for android. You have to edit the .pak file on PC first.
