The Jankmaster 9000 is looking pretty sweet. Does it really only take -1 or 2 mm off the X-axis? I would think you lose a lot more build space than that with how wide the Hemera is. On the Ender 3 V2, E3D's upgrade guide says that mounting bracket drops 25mm off the X-axis. Which mount would you go with now? Also is that PEI sheet on top of a glass bed or is your magnet directly on the metal plate? Don't you need it to be on top of glass since the metal plate has flex?

The Ender 5 plus x axis has some extra wiggle room that the Ender 3's don't have.
I'm still using what's in the video, but I plan to design my own mount to make it properly.
The pei is on the spring steel, which is directly on the magnet. I use it like this on all my printers. Have really good results with it like that.

@@andrewesquivel A few mm of travel lost to gain the benefits of the hemera kit, I can live with that. 25mm raises some eyebrows though, but still worth it I've found on the E3V2.
Ah okay, there are several mounts on thingiverse, will just have to try and see.
Really. I guess the BL touch should compensate for any flex on the metal plate. Also the heating pad is boxed in by some aluminum rails on the E5+, so that'll keep the plate flat even when the leveling knobs apply pressure. Thanks much for the info!
