@@cosmicspacething3474 Yea, but DB ignored several of Wario's feats to make him lose. They said DD survived a black hole but Wario didn't, when Wario has in the Mario spin-offs. Also for some reason Wario couldn't use hypnosis on Deedee and Deedee was scaled equal to Kirby when imo he's weaker.
@@commendedzuez0944 they don't make a character lose (if you bring up yang vs tifa that was 7 years ago), they can get episodes wrong (like the recent wanda vs zatanna) but they wouldn't intentionally make a character lose thats just a silly mindset, also I'm pretty sure they didn't mention the black hole feat because the shake king feat was much stronger than that (even then dededes black hole feat is stronger than that and I don't see why they could'nt just say that that feat was stronger than warios black hole feat) and it'd feel redundant to bring it up when they've used it before. And idk if he can take hits from kirby I don't see why he can't scale to him. At the end of the day believe what you wanna believe (vs debating is subjective after all) but death battle does not intentionally make a character lose.
@@commendedzuez0944 He's weaker than Kirby and Meta Knight but not by much. He's still one of the heavy hitters in the Kirby universe that isn't a major boss character like Marx or Void Termina. So they were still right because Dedede would still thrash Wario effortlessly. It's just Death Battle's "research" has always been terrible.
Wario would still probably win, but there's no way the Tower of Fate is only about 58 meters tall when you look at the size of the spires compared to the entire tower.

When all of the Crossover Colosseum matchups were announced Wario vs King Knight was one of the ones I was most excited for, and boy did it not disappoint!

Seeing all of those Wario forms gave me such a massive wave of nostalgia. I loved that GBC game when I was a kid.
I also just noticed that one of the matches is Akechi vs MCU Loki. That’s an absolute stomp and I am 100% on board with those two bundles of psychological issues fighting each other haha.

Before I'm gonna give my thoughts I'm going to mention I'm a big Shovel Knight fan.
Honestly this episode was kinda disappointing, Wario's analysis was good but King Knight's didn't do a good job at describing his character or arsenal, he really could've used part of his analysis to go into some detail about all he has so someone who doesn't know the series isn't confused about the parts of the arsenal you didn't mention but still used. King Knight also could have used a bit more character in the fight, despite being a Brute and a bit dumb he's still an actually good strategist.
Two changes I would have made are that when they're fighting for gold, King Knight should have shoulder bashed Wario to get his Magnetic Spin to pick it all up, then taunting Wario into attacking by laughing and countering him with the sword. The other moment I'd change is that King Knight Should have used his Scepter of Swiftness to gain distance after he threw the rats at Wario, only for Wario to power through and have a short chase sequence with him.

As someone who’s been on RUclips for a while I can say with certainty that on the vast majority of vs channels someone would say “that doesn’t mean King Knight would win” while ignoring everything you said outside of the fact you’re saying some strengths he left out.
In the end you still made a well thought-out comment so this is absolutely the salt talking and the most revenant takeaway is that Smash Bracket has a better community 👍

6:24 there's a couple strategies you can use to beat Deerclops effectively. The most simple one is by using a strategy known as "Kiting" in which you run into his attack range and then back out immediately. After he attacks run back in, swing your weapon 2-3 times (best to stick to 2 if you're not confident) and then run back out. Rinse and repeat until dead. If Kiting is too difficult you can try campfire tanking. What this involves is preparing a bunch of armor and healing items ahead of time, and setting up two campfires where you plan to fight him. If you stand between these campfires his attacks won't be able to freeze you and the armor you have combined with the healing will allow you to just keep swinging until he goes down.
In exchange for this information, please do a crossover colosseum with a Don't Starve character! I've wanted to see something like that on death battle for ages!
The don't starve character would die trying to chop down a tree and it turning into a monster and NONE OF HIS FRIENDS HELPING if they are similar to my experiences.

Here before 5k subscribers! The channel is definitely going to make it far! It is incredible how much detail and effort goes into the character backgrounds and the animation, especially for such a small channel! It reminds me of the good days of Animation Rewind!
Aah, fighting animations with Wario are always a blast. Having him fly around making wario noises was hilarious, and the animation itself was *chefs kiss* considering the channel size.
It´s also nice to see some matchups that are weird/obscure, even if this one was kind of a stomp.
Only problem I had was that king knights intro sounded less like an actual analysis and more like a retelling, which was kind of boring. But still.
...also, it says "destoy" at 12:07. Unforgivable.

The matchup is fitting though even but yeah it is an obvious stomp in Wario’s favor.
It seems even outside of smash bracket this show can't escape stomp fights, and I say that even as a Wario mega fan.
Even of my favorite character list, I still gotta give the winner a gg, and that animation was amazing, great job!

Yes, The connections are that these 4 are from manga adaptations of video games. But they are also the gag counterparts, It would be really interesting to see how comedic the fight would be.

I would love to see a fight that I have always wanted death battle to do! Cell vs Zygarde would just be absolutely perfect! :) they each have three forms, have incredible powers, and are able to heal themselves! I really believe it'll be a great fight :)

Perfect (pun intended)

A fitting matchup and good information in the analysis sections. The fight was actually fun and good putting a lot of their abilities in it. I was pleasantly surprised that it was good since previous death battle type alternate series I have seen in the past have been terrible especially in their animation. Though I knew before even clicking the video that Wario would win knowing both characters very well already he’s just far stronger and has way more abilities. You have earned my subscription and I will be watching your other matchups.

This is a great example of the strengths and weaknesses of a "you decide the matchup!" Vs battle series format: the research, presentation , editing, and sprite animation are top notch. Great episode, good job.

(But the episode did pair two characters who are so different in strength that it isn't a question who will win, and the winner had to tap into such a small percentage of his potential strength, such that a vs battle series with more executive control probably would have picked different characters for each fighter to fight)

I see you didn’t mention Wario’s stupid good regeneration. Based on how he can heal from being burnt to ash with Flaming Wario and flattened. It’s toon physics but they’re part of his arsenal. He can even heal himself from being a zombie. Which includes bones jutting out of his body.

Nice fight. I'm not exactly a Wario or Shovel Knight fan, but I was having fun just watching the video. Love how last video, it was a clash between gods and now, it's two greedy men fighting. I find that transition kinda funny. If your looking for other ideas, a couple I would interesting is 1. A very common one, but still as undecided as Sonic vs Mario, Miles "Tails" Prower vs Luigi, a battle of the sidekicks. 2. A possible comeback for Lucas after he (sadly) lost to Wario in the other fight, Lucas vs Frisk from Undertale, a clash of RPGs. I'm still super excited to see your next video though, because you can really tell you guys have improved on your animations since Link vs Ridely. Hope you guys had about as much of a great time making this as most of us did watching had.
Luigi vs Tails should logically be a stomp for Luigi.
@Wii U - The Underrated Console. Not really. While Luigi has his strengths, he also has his weaknesses that Tails can easily exploit. Also, Tails has quite a few things that could easily distract or scare Luigi, like his bombs. Tails has a variety of machines that he can use to his advantage, including his arm cannon, magic hand, and especially the Toronado (if he can't use it, that doesn't make much sense due to Fox being able to use his ship in his Smash Bracket fight). Don't forget that the Tornado can also transform into a mech that has energy beams and missiles. Hes also the only character who's swam in a main line Sonic game. There's also S3&Ks version of Super Tails which is invincible, he can still fly using his Tails, and Flickes (which are the birds that Sonic helps and frees) can help take down opponents without him having to move whatsoever. Yes, I know Luigi has all of those powerups that can help him. But even if he loses, Tails can still put up a great fight.
@@petesoys6348 Luigi is capable of using lightning which is one of Tails’ fears. The fight would not be an instant death but Luigi wouldn’t need to go all out to beat Tails.
@Wii U - The Underrated Console. Nice argument. Unfortunately, both of those statements about lighting are not canon. Tails is only ever shown to be afraid of lighting in the OVA and Sonic Boom, but both aren't related to the actual canon games. And Mario and Luigi games are confirmed to not be canon (which in these fights, it needs to be from mainline games). So there goes that argument. If you have any other arguments for Luigi, I'd love to hear them.
@@petesoys6348 How is Mario and Luigi confirmed to be non canon? Mario games have literally been confirmed by Miyamoto to not have any clear canon so it is a valid game.
I mean it was pretty much obvice but hey Im always up for a good one on one animation seriously these animations are legendary.

You should use a Kirby character in a battle. Maybe Forgotten Land final boss (making sure I don’t spoil anything) or one of the other side villains like Magolor and Marx.
Maglor vs Marx they both decived Kirby there both trixters and they they both got items to become a god
@@joshuahoefler1244 Marx didn’t use an item, he had his powers originally before summoning Nova. Marx wished for control over Popstar, not power. They still are an interesting match considering how ink takes most feats for their rules.

One thing I’d like to bring up, not sure how much it would affect the fight but I always thought the scene in the newest WarioWare where he is hit by the giant nose was cannonically in his own game, so would that count?
Also it doesn’t appear to cause as much damage as stated as it makes the comical object shaped hole
The real Wario was transportated into the game and took that hit, it counts
