- Dear Diary, we just needed one thing from D.Watson. As always when you're on the way to do a small shop, you end up realising there are other things that you need. So we ended up buying all of our vitamins, kitchen sponge and shampoo from there. I recommend D.Watson to anyone who is new to Pakistan. Also the following day we decided to make Chips, cheese and beans with mushy peas. This was the highlight for our week. The chips were fried to perfection just like chippy chips. We can get hold of baked beans here in Pakistan very easily. The mushy peas was sent from the UK about a year ago. So finally we had a real nice British Fish n Chips style meal. Allahumabarik.

We're thinking of putting our home in uk on rent and move to Pakistan maybe for a year or 2.
We'd use the rent we're getting from our uk property as a source of some of the money.
My husband is also a qualified electrician in Pakistan and the Uk.
I so badly want to make the leap for the kids in particular.
Allah make it easy for us if there is goodness in it for us.

You can cook your baked beans if you wanted as well.
I find it bland straight of the can.
I fry onions 1st, once golden, add tomatoes, then add Baked Beans. Then, add water, salt and some spices as you wish. Yummy.

Tailors charge between 900-2500 for a simple suit. Depends on their location and experience.

For everyones benefit, there is another exclusive pharmacy on the Mall rd Rawalpindi saddar called W. Wilson Chemists
, they don't have any other outlets apart from their own opticians outlet on the same road. They are here since the British era.

Yes it is, but we don't have gas load shedding. People who do have load shedding, use the heaters with caution.

current WAHCANTT - AIR QUALITY is HAZARD
One thing I noticed when you pay, they take your card and in my opinion its not very safe not just in Pak, anywhere in the world. Don't hand over your card just do it on your own and do mind people behind you keeping an eye when you are putting your pin in😂
@Proud_Muslimah6244 I would find it uncomfortable when visiting Pakistan many years ago. At a restaurant, I wanted to pay by card, but the card machine had a good signal in a specific location. So the waiter took my card and asked for my pin. I was shocked.
Now, if the waiter would do the same. I would happily give it.
Generally speaking. I feel like I can have my personal belongings out and keep my eyes closed. Which would be a different story all together in the UK.
