I appreciate the generous use of metal especially for the fenders and that retro look - reminds me of Hero Honda CD100 that we used to get in India in early 1990s. And a sweet price tag to top it all. Looks more comfortable and rock solid than the current-gen Hero Splendor Plus - you can buy 2 of those for the price of 1 Splendor Plus. Given the option to buy the Indian Honda Shine and Honda CG125, it is the CG125 for me for its simplicity, Honda engine and a carbureted engine - I so miss the carburetor with the arrival of BS6. Carbureted motorcycles were so easy to maintain and repair. Although we have a range of motorcycles from various local to international brands, respect to Pakistan and how people are happy and satisfied with what they have.

KTM is Indian bike.. Bajaj own the half of Austrian company, and most KTM bikes sold in India are engineered, manufactured, advertised, distributed, and sold by Bajaj only.. A few models might be imported..
Even if the trade wasn't in hold and bikes were to be imported cheaply from India it would really knock off Honda as they would lose market margin and honda would probably with the influence they have with the government stop the import of the bikes
Same thing happened with cars, Japanese cars were highly popular and one could even import a car as old as 6+ years and due to this honda,Toyota and Suzuki were losing the market so they had the government limit the import to only cars only 3 years older and increase taxes

OMG 😂😂😂
I appreciate the generous use of metal especially for the fenders and that retro look - reminds me of Hero Honda CD100 that we used to get in India in early 1990s. And a sweet price tag to top it all. Looks more comfortable and rock solid than the current-gen Hero Splendor Plus - you can buy 2 of those for the price of 1 Splendor Plus. I love the Honda CG125 - it's their Honda Shine equivalent.
Indian bike game is just on another level.
Actually, we are the largest market of motorbikes in the world.
If Indian bikes starts selling in Pakistan, they'll take over their whole market considering their price and durability which might upset China.

These bikes were used by our grand dad in 1980s. But Pakistan still use these bikes in 2022. Pakistan really needs a lot of development.
These bikes are So good yes it was great if we had more options but Low horsepower motorcycles such as CD70 etc. are used in Pakistan, is Part of Pakistan's Fuel Saving Policy.
CD70 is a suitable bike for Urban Areas in Pakistan, They do not fall heavily on the Pockets of the Common People and And they are also Beneficial for the Country's Economy, as is the low Consumption of Petrol. These motorcycles do not get Damaged quickly and if they do, their spare parts are easily available, they are also locally manufactured.
Heavy bikes are also used in Pakistan, but the government does not encourage their use, nor is heavy bikes allowed to be manufactured in Pakistan. Imran Khan's government has now reduced taxes on imports of heavy bikes but imposed heavy tax on it due to Covid 19 Economic Crisis after a few months again.

CD70 saves Pakistan 1 billion dollars annually in Petrol Consumption.

It's not beast 125 is common. We had bennali Suzuki and Yamaha after Honda. And other were speed150
Yeah and anything exceeding 200 CC would cost a whopping 8 to 10 lacs. Simply agree that the motorbike industry in Pakistan sucks big time.

That Road Prince Hundo has been putting some work down and it shows it. Not sure how accurate the odometer is but over 65,000 km is quite an achievement for a sub $300 motorcycle.
That 65,000 is nothing people here keep this same 70 for decades and mostly without any maintenance even oil changes are extremely delayed they will just do what’s necessary for it to somewhat drive kinda shows how reliable the engines are in these bikes that’s why they are still sold here
In the UK I have an 18yr old Honda XR125 it costs nothing to run and has been tuned but still gives crazy high mpg. Love it. The CG engine is excellent just keep up the 2k oil changes.
Great to see after memes now Pewdiepie reviewing pakistani bikes
😂😂
If PewDiePie comes to India, people will call him Karl.
Thank God my grandparents didn't leave India during partition...
We also use different types of motorcycles that look like indias Apache and stuff but these cd70 are classic bikes of strong build and easy parts accessibility with great mileage
