Kindgom Come has some of the greatest artwork ever with a good story about legacies. Batman Ego is really good at going into the mind of the Batman and his demons. Red Hood and the Outlaws: The Dark Trinity just the perfect story of Red Hood. The story of a son trying to make his father proud while struggling to stay on the right path as he becomes responsible for his actions and finds his heart. DC New Frontier is a beautiful story of how the Justice League came together after the second world war and a spot on Green Lantern origin. And finally the Webtoons Wayne Family Adventures is just a hilarious bunch of short stories about the Batfamily outside of costumes and a look into their personal lives and struggles on and off the streets as they learn to become a family. Just amazing reads.
@@calebmetcalfe6998 awesome list thank you for taking the time to write this out! I haven’t read that Red Hood storyline but have been interested in more from that character!
Yeah Green Lantern Earth One is a masterpiece that is highly underrated and would have loved for the series to continue. And Shazam The monster society of evil reminds me of the early days of Captain Marvel a fun comic for kids. Just some of the best reads in DC.
Great video. Some great recommendations. The Flash Silver Age omibusi is excellent. In the same vein, I recommend The Silver Age omni's for Doom Patrol Legion of Superheroes. The Phantom Stranger Suicide Squad Jonah Hex Omni for the origin and early adventures Johna Hex Shadows West, but Joe Lansdale and Tim Truman. Puts a weird-west/horror spin on the character. If you can find them, Showcase Presents collections reprinting are great tood Hawkman Unknown Soldier Ambush Bug Metal Men Men of War Bat Lash
Feel like this should be titled an “Underrated” DC list. Wow love what you chose here bro. Shazam especially who is a character I feel deserves so much love. He’s so underrated for no reason. And Superman Secret Origins is underrated as well. Can’t wait for the absolute.
Had to give some variety and I’m a sucker for those issues just pure fun 👏⚡️ Also if you’re interested I’m planning on dropping a silver age marvel video this upcoming week 😉 stay tuned!
Late to the party with this video, I have the Absolute Superman by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank on order so looking forward to reading Origin as part of that. I know you don't usuallly do absolute editions but would love to see you review that book as well
Yeah I’ve yet to get into the absolute game but hope to someday! I have some of content of that absolute in paperback and hardcover but that book looks absolutely gorgeous 😃📚
Agree with four of your five picks but common Dominick, Superman secret origin it’s among the best superman stories ever made, that book has a lot of recognition among all the other Geoff Johns Superman stories, i mean there’s an absolute coming in the coming months, but agree with the other four, people need to give a shot to GL earth one and Shazam & the monster society
Hi dom how are you its been so many days over 60 days for true Have you read radiant black volume 3,4 and 5 vol 5 was released on 27 feb this year it is a part of crisis storyline which will lead to infinite earths❤
1. The Question by Dennis O’Neil 2. Gotham Central 3. Green Arrow: Year One 4. Superman: Secret Origins 5. Batman: The Knight 6. All-Star Western (New 52)
Silver Age Flash is pretty good but the best DC Silver Age book is Justice League of America. The art may not be as good (Mike Sekowsky was competent but no Carmine Infantino) but Gardner Fox was far and away DC's best writer until the 70s and the book introduces and developes alot of the Multiverse concepts that began in Flash.
Dom please review rogue sun volumes vol 3 is coming out this month rogue sun is also set in massive verse in which radiant black exist and undiscovered country vol 5 is coming out soon please review massive verse books please dom
@@TheComicBookReport I will seond the massive verse recommendation. Radiant Black is really good, I think Rogue Sun may be better. No/one is a great story, but not a traditional superhero story.

I’ve heard great things about that doom patrol run, hoping it gets reprinted
Definitely second the Legion... Though it's funny how often "so and so is really a traitor?!?" is a plot point.

For future reference, Silver Age Flash is also being recollected in the DC Finest line of comics
