4 into 1 header would awesome, but a budget buster, so maybe reuse those mufflers, but add a few degrees of upward bend to the pipe just behind the foot pegs. Those 4 cylinder engines produce a killer sound!
I'm really interested in what you have in mind for paint. This should be a great project!

Looking forward to seeing you do this, nothing like classic Hondas. Reminds me of your CB750 videos which got me into your channel.

Tuffside seat would looking good for a Bratstyle Bike. Classic Octane has good videos for re-jetting with pods etc. Cant wait to see this!

SOHC forum has a lot of great info... one of the biggest things they push is using original jets/needles. Carb rebuild kits are good for gaskets and float pins, but the needle, main jet, emulsifier tube, pilot jet, and air screw are usually different in the rebuilt kits and cause running issues. Keep the original ones if you can. Also look there for air filter pod recommendations and accommodating jet sizes.
as for the exhaust I like the symmetry of the 4-2...4-1 just looks empty on the one side where the pipes aren't. I think the one on there would look really good cleaned up and polished. Keep a pop of chrome on the bike like the fenders and gas cap

I have a 1974 550/4 No Title. I am probably going modify it into a Vintage Dirt Flat Tracker.

I was expecting the swingarm to drop to the floor after removing the rear shock absorbers. What's holding the swingarm in its present horizontal position? I suggest checking the swingarm bearings. Are they seized?

Straight pipes would be cool as long as it doesn't get you in trouble for the DOT inspection or with the law.

Go with some shorty mufflers or a 4 in to 1 custom like you did on the Suzuki
