I know this video was two years ago but your little Henry is adorable. Like him I was and still am a cleaner. I found my dream job as a professional house cleaner and own my own business.. my son loves to clean to.. He is 18 now so it’s great to know his cleaning skills are following him.
Instead of a shower curtain or a towel. You can decide whatever you want but I use a cheap vinyl table cloth from Walmart, I’ll usually get the round, but you could get a bigger one like rectangle. I used it for both my kids under their high chair and it worked so well. The shower curtain is a good idea too but I feel like it would just be too big..
Ahh your little helper is just precious. He reminds me of my son who's 6. Loves to help so much! I recently came across your channel, yesterday actually and I love you already! I love that you show a real life mess. Those are the best cleaning videos. I have a 6 bedroom home (family of 7) so I totally understand the struggle of cleaning a big house and how quickly it can get out of hand. Especially with little ones.
I loved this video! I have 4 boys of my own, including a Henry who is just starting to walk. The candle made me nervous, can H reach it or do you put it up when its out of the camera's view? Its impossible for me to watch the baby 24 hrs a day with all the needs of the other boys! On another note though, I too, as I have grown, have started feeling like my room is my safe place. The baby sleeps in our room, and also in our bed some parts of the night, so total kidfree isn't a reality for us yet...but someday!
You have such a great little helper, there is going to be one lucky girl who gets him. She better treat him good as you can tell he has a good ♥️. Thank you for sharing
To keep you bedroom clean and yours, maybe you could implement a rule that whatever they take in to the room they have to take out with them when they leave. My mom had that rule for us kids growing up. And it kept her room toy free.
You don't need to put anything under the high chair, you just need to clean up the floor underneath the chair after he eats. It can't stick if it doesn't stay there. Just a spray and a wipe with a paper towel after each meal, it takes twenty seconds and saves you the stress of scrubbing it off later!

I use a scraper, ie: putty knife from the dollar tree, to scrape up stuff while I sweep. And the putty knife is perfect for getting everything up, even gum.
Have you considered replacing the title in the kitchen and dinning room? Because in my opinion it would be much easier to clean if there were the same flooring throughout the house
My daughter was like him when she was little and I loved it to my daughter will be 18 on September 19th and she doesn't clean like that anymore but if you ask her to do stuff she'll do it
