I rescued my calico over 15 years ago. After my husband of 28 yrs left me my cat rescued me right back forever - she’s my best friend I will do anything for her. Mine too.. My 3month kitten is so playful, she never get bored ask me to play with the feather😂 until I found this song. Its been a week I play this song at night.
Holy cow this is insane, I honestly can't believe what i'm seeing. Me and my mom are trying to find things to help our cat Vespa, since she gets incredibly anxious when I leave the house and scratches her forehead a lot to where there's not much fur left. We've been really worried for her for about a year now, and we couldn't find any stress reliever that would work with her. As SOON as we started playing this on my computer Vespa came into the bedroom, looked up at me and meowed. She then proceeded to jump up on my lap, start purring immediately and rubbing up against the table before I even got the chance to pet her. Currently she's stretched out, purring, and lying her head on my mom's lap (bumping her head constantly up against my mom's leg\stomach and reaching up her arm with her paws) and she's been in multiple super relaxed positions (that don't even seem fit for a cat) for around 30 minutes now. She has NEVER done anything like this before, and I legitimately cannot explain how crazy and odd my cat's acting by just writing a comment. This music seemed to instantly put her into a cozy trance and i'm super grateful for that.

I don't even know anymore yeah. Cats in the wild tend to hunt at dusk and dawn, because it's hard for their prey's eyes to adjust to shifting light. They sleep constantly so they can reserve energy to hunt.

My new cat had a nervous look in her eyes...she hid behind the small sofa. I turned on the soothing music, and she outstretched herself and is giving me the blinking eyes now! Thank you! She was abandoned at a State Park for who knows how long. The lady that rescued her had to find a new home for her because she was being beat up by 2 other cats she has and was looking for a 1 cat only household. Tada! That's us! She is queen of the house, no kids, no other pets, just "hoomans" ready to be enslaved by her!!:)

Becky, you"re sooo right. I have rescued many cats in my lifetime snd, yes, some of them end up very traumatized from the bullying other cats inflict on them. Most of these traumatized cats end up with post syndrome disorders: very fearful, anxious and untrusting of people and, specially, other cats. It is very important that they are given a safe environment free of any kind of abuse from humans or animals. It is the only way they are redeemed. With time and patience, they flourish.
My cat had anxiety and was freked out because we changed houses. She didnt eat nor come out . I put this to her she started eating and moving a lil bit thank u 🙏🏻

Thank you so much for this playlist, I recently took in my cat, Ellie from the outside world where many horrible things happened to her... she was skinny and helpless and I saved her from that life. Ever since she's has been there for me and I have been there for her, we are like best friends.. Ellie has been suffering from anxiety for a few weeks now.. she's been sratching out her fur, spraying and peeing outside of her litter box. She has peed on my bed and even on me.. but I'm not going to give up on her... Ellie is in a safe home now and i will help her till the very end.

I found a kitten in the streets and she was crying and crying for days she was in a bad shape so I thought and thought to my self somebody has to save her or else she will starve and die so I picked her up and she was shaking and I took care of her till this day she is an adult now she is now happy

Btw, we had to bring my newly adopted kitten Snowy to be vaccinated today, and had to run quite a few errands that took up alot of time, and he's currently sleeping after listening to this for awhile. Inge Boerhoop-Mol , I've been there with my previous cat, pictured here w/ me. He ended up having cystisis. I ended up having to use Rx food to cure & prevent it from happening again and he was on it the rest of his life. I never wanted to see him go through that pain again. ...or have to take him to the emergency again either. The food cost more, but is worth it, & way cheaper than reacuring vet visits & pain. I just got my kitten from an animal shelter and he has a hard time sleeping. He’s so pumped up, running around constantly for hours on end. It keeps me and my mom up. Started playing this and he crawled on my chest and started settling down. Thanks for sharing. I can finally sleep too now that he’s calm

How exactly do you go about making music specifically for cats? Are there certain sounds you use that resemble sounds that cats instinctively respond to?

i did some googling and essentially sean was right. the reason cats find this soothing is because the frequency is within their vocal range and the beat is similar or the same as their resting heart beat. these same principles apply to what makes soothing music for humans soothing to us, they just took what works for us and applied it to cats with great success :) i know this an old comment but you got me curious and i thought i’d share

cat's sleeping in my tummy rn. when the music started he looked at the tv, yawned and made himself a ball to sleep. thank you sm, before i put the music he seemed to have nighmares or something, but now he's pacefully sleeping :)
I used to listen to this with my beautiful kitten every night, it relaxed both of us. He would sit in my lap and nuzzle me. He recently passed away so i come back to this video because it reminds me of him. I miss him so much, he was my best friend.

I just adopted a 4 month old kitten today.. she was scared.. I put her in a kitty bed I made and put my Bluetooth speaker next to it, then I tucked her in and played this. She immediately calmed down and started to relax and purr. Relax My Cat - Relaxing Music for Cats one thing that helped too is my Bluetooth speaker has Led Lights in it that go with the music. I had put it on the calmest setting and it helped too so

This is really an anti-anxiety music and I’m just loving it. I really needed to make my cat fall asleep and I didn’t know what to do. As soon as I found this music, she fell asleep within 2 minutes. I can’t believe my eyes. Just great. ❤️

I was just playing this for my cat while I was out, and just wanted to let you know how much she and I appreciate your music! I found your channel right before she had to have eye surgery, and I've had it on pretty much 24/7 ever since! She's blind now, so I feel better when she has something nice to listen to, and she often sits near the speakers and falls asleep, so I'm sure she likes it too. :) Mostly I play it on my iPod + speakers which now live on her cat tower, and I turn on one of your RUclips videos when I have to "borrow" the iPod back from her to go to the gym, lol. I put this video on for my cat before I went to the market and returned 20 minutes later to a 6 minute 'video ad' of raging water in a river and my cat was most definitely not relaxed. My neighbours where doing fireworks for some reason and my cat was running up and down in stress, I decided I would lay a nice blanket out on the sofa and play this music, within 30 seconds he was a lot calmer and jumped on the sofa and fell to sleep, I was a nice owner and pet him a bit while he settled onto the sofa 😋❤️

This honestly works like magic my cat suffers from anxiety and sometimes when I gets to bad I just cuddle with him and listen to this and he starts to relax thank you sooooo much I sometimes leave this on while I’m gone because he suffers from sever separation anxiety and would cry and cry until I would arrive home again thanks you and god bless you guys🙏🙂💙
To be honest did not had any high expectations... but it's new years eve an both of my cats are so scared... so i played it, layed down on the floor and both came to me and definitely both calmed down pretty well. Thank you.
My wee gentle soul mate had to go to the vet for the 1st time in 6 years today as he couldnt walk.
Since afternoon until now he has been put in a wee cage, in 2 cars and tests and injections for his injuries along with xrays. Hes had painkillers etc and for 9 hours he just wont settle to sleep due to being stressed out.
Hes sat up the whole time and wouldnt lie down for no one.
I put the light on low and this music on and for the 1st time in 9 hours hes lay down.
I know hes shattered but a little traumatised and couldn't settle.

My cat buddy is seriously stressed, I'm at work 6 days a week, came home too night chucked out the five strays..quilt ridden..but he comes first, hissed at me quite a few times over the last week, playing this and he's gone into coma I'm stressed and me too, love him

My almost 2 year old Siamese female cat (Suzy-Q) has shown a remarkable love of certain types of music I play, including classical, and she will sit right next to the speaker and look at it for a long time. She is here now... amazing and true! :-) (Oh yeah, my huge Tabby and white "Olaf" dude who loves his girl Suzy-Q gets hyper when I play music a bit more uptempo than this piano music -- or even soft-rock type music -- really gets him flying around the house, happily. Yes, cats do really respond to music more than I have ever seen dogs do). (!!)

My cat is sick (vestibular disease) I can see how much she suffer, she got that sickness after giving birth multiple times. I can also hear her screaming and crying in the middle of the night because she is sick, she lost a lot of weight became malnourished, I brought her to the vet and gave her medicines. I did everything I could just to cure her and I know she's now depressed and until now she's still sick, and crying.. but when I played this music to her, She stopped crying every night, had a deep sleep. Even knowing and seeing that she is still sick, I am now relief to see her smile again. She don't scream and cry every night anymore and became cheerful again.

I lost my first cat Bulti on 30th Nov . He was just 1.5 yrs old. Now has another one. It's really hard to stop him from going outside. He meows all time. But I've nothing to do. Don't know is it safe to keep a cat without any outdoor activities,...I'm afraid if I lose him I will lose myself forever...and 13 minutes of this music was enough to make him sleep. At first he was listing it very calmly then walked very gently, then came and lay down on my lap. Then went to his bed. Thanks. I wish people should become kind and loveable. Plz don't hurt any animal that they suffer from extreme pain like Mt Bulti. People says my cats are lucky that they got me as a owner. But I say I'm lucky becoming such a person who takes care of such beautiful animals unlike the whole world. I'm not their owner but Mom. If you don't love them, let them go, but you are not permitted to hit them...
