The fact that Daphne had to have her maid explain how to conceive a child was just so sad. Colin tried to explain it to Eloise without actually explaining it and if Eloise thought hard enough she should've walked her butt to a farm to figure it out. I understand they wanted to ensure they were always pure before marriage, but not explaining things is how some women could become very hurt by him lying about something because he's twisted (like you have to be cut with a knife everytime, and she could want a child so badly that she'd do it), or how they could become pregnant and not even know it because they didn't know the act they did would cause such a thing to happen.
