- We travel the Corowa in NSW to pick up an A15 Datsun engine, only thing is it's still in a car so we get the whole lot. In the process we get to save a Datsun Sunny and my mate Peter gets his engine!

Delivering the Sunny to it’s new home today where it’s probably going to become a rallycar so exiting adventures ahead for the little car.
This video brought back some very fond memories. An '81 Sunny was my first car and what a first car to have. You "learn" to drive to get your license then you actually learn to drive in your first car. I spent more time on gravel roads learning to slide around bends than I did on tarmac. Ultra light, rear wheel drive, cost nothing to run, heaps of fun to drive and pretty much bullet proof engine and drive train. I really miss that little Sunny.

The B310 is really the creme de la creme of Datsun. Simple, 4 cylinder, 1.5 liter, Rear wheel drive, 5 Speed manual. Just beautiful machine.

I have 3, B310 150Y datsuns my self here in Finland. i think these are still bit under rated cars.
Hi SteamAlkoholi, does 150Y mean 1500cc (A15) engine? Here in Australia I think they only had A12 in the sedan. Thanks for the comment.
@@Kaitler_Motorsport_Engineering Yes 150Y stands for engine size, in Finland we got 3 engine options for B310's which were A12, A14 and A15. :)

Hi, just wondering if Rob ever got to finish the Sunny. If so, any chance of an update video. I’m an avid Datsun enthusiast and would love to see the finished product
Hi Rob, I had to go back and remind myself which car Rob had in this video. I think you mean the 120Y Station Wagon, I actually don't know but I will find out and put another comment up. Probably worth a video on the cars (all Datsun's) Rob has restored and modified, there have been quite a few.
