Beautiful sound and bike but...i had something similar to this on my MT10 and it was ear bleeding loud couldn't use the bike even with earplugs and everyone was looking at me like "look at him" but if you are happy more power to you enjoy.
I've been running a decat link pipe with the stock muffler on mine for a few months now. It is ridiculously loud. Is this Austin Racing way louder than the stock muffler w/link pipe? I imagine it is louder but not by much because the stock muffler has no baffle. It's just longer.. However I don't really want to go louder, a little is acceptable, just to give it a nice sound change and looks improvement.
I'm actually not sure. I haven't heard stock muffler with decat link in person but yeah AR is also ridiculously loud. I imagine it would be louder just because the muffler is shorter. Just not sure by how much, and also not sure on how much the tone would change. My AR doesn't have the baffle either but they do offer one.
Sounds and looks great. I like this can better than some AR belly mounts I have seen. Your can looks substantial shorter. What is the exact model you ordered to get this length? Thanks!!!
Thank you thank you. Funny you noticed that, I thought so too. I bought it used from the owner of the shop I go to. It was on his R1, maybe the AR belly exit can for the R1 is a little shorter?
@@HobbsMF I think you may be right looking at the parts for the R1. It does appear to be shorter. It looks so much better tucked in more like that. Still running this? I have regretted having to sell my 2017. Now looking at the new 2022 as a replacement.
Ahh yeah that's interesting! That's probably exactly what it is then. I am still running it yeah. I play with the idea of getting an SC or something but I'm honestly happy with the AR. Its fitting for the MT. The new '22s do look pretty nice right. Plus they come with extra goodies
