Used to watch AC/DC in local pub when they were unknown outside of Australia. They used to drive from Sydney to Perth to go to play gigs, just under 4000km and I lived in a country town about halfway. Bon Scott and the Young brothers & co would often sit down at the bar and have a drink between sets, those were the days.

I am so damn happy that Martin said that about Flick of the switch....wow! I have been defending that album for years and years during ac/dc conversations with my friends..It was my first AC/DC album i bought with my own money and still has a special place in my ears:)) awesome. I agree Martin!
Well said. I have been defending Flick and Fly forever (party, sawdust on the floor album)... there I go again! I bought both albums on day of release. Keep defending the mighty Flick!

Whether it's a deep cut or not the most under-appreciated AC/DC song ever is 'Rising Power'. Probably the best "deep album" too - if there's such a thing at all.

Yes. The two best albums are "Powerage" and "Back In Black". Of course there are so many great real rock songs from this amazing band. If I must pick number 3 it must be "Stiff Upper Lip". I´m born in -61. I saw Bon Scott in -77. His great voice and his great writing will forever stand. However, Brian Johnson is for the big arena. The song "Overdose" is amazing. I listen to that tune every month. This is R`n`R poetry. It stands!

It's a long way to the top Rock n roll singer Ain't no fun waiting around to be a millionaire Overdose Sin city Up to my neck in you What's next to the moon Gone shootin Touch too much Night prowler Lets get it up Bedlam in Belgium Badlands Back in business Heatseeker Razors edge Fire your guns Shot of love-outstanding riff Hard as a rock The furor Burnin alive Safe in New York city Give it up Big jack Anything goes Wheels Money made Stormy mayday- phenomenal song, not sure why no one talks about it. Rock the blues away Dogs of war- the 'we still have it after all these years' Baptism by fire Bedlam in Belgium, back in business, and wheels were my picks as well before I even watched the video. I've been hooked on flick of the switch the last 6 months, an excellent raw, solid record of classic AC/DC.
One of the greatest rock n' roll bands in the history of rock n' roll. I know they were lumped in with heavy metal & they embraced their position among those bands but, at their core, they were always a bluesy rock n roll band that had more in common with Chuck Berry than Iron Maiden. So, I'm presenting my Deep Cuts in that context. 5) Overdose ~ Let There Be Rock 4) Badlands ~ Flick Of The Switch 3) Breaking The Rules ~ For Those About To Rock 2) Soul Stripper ~ '74 Jailbreak 1) Little Lover ~ High Voltage (contains the longest pregnant pause on a studio cut in recorded history! )
Saw AC/DC on 24 Sept. 1976, opening for Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow-Concert (That's what the ticket says). So yes, Bon Scott singing, Angus in his school uniform, and they indeed did a great opening for the evening. Named my first band after their album High Voltage (Yes, we were the first using this name as a band name way back in 1976)
This is my favourite band of all time...from my head...my cuts; . Live Wire. .she Got balls. . Squelaer. . Kicked in the teeth. . Gone Shootin. . Touch too much. . Let me put my love into you. . Spellbound. . Guns for Hire . Razors Edge. . Furor.
Black Sabbath and AC/DC are my two favorite bands of all time. What a massive catalog of classics. My top 5 deep cuts: Dog Eat Dog - Let There Be Rock Kicked in the Teeth - Powerage Beating Around The Bush - Highway To Hell C.O.D. - For Those About To Rock Got You By The Balls - The Razor's Edge
Overdose - Let There Be Rock What’s Next To The Moon? - Powerage Spellbound - For Those About to Rock This House Is On Fire - Flick of the Switch Playing With Girls - Fly on the Wall
Two's Up (BUYV): killer interweaving guitars Squealer (DD): high water mark performance from Bon It's a Long Way to the Top (HV): awesome bagpipes Ride On (DD): hypnotic slow burn blues Overdose (live versions from Bonfire box): mind blowing jams
I do remember watching this episode now, but I don't believe I left a comment regarding it. My Top 5 Deep Cut songs from AC/DC are: 1. Spellbound 2. Bedlam In Belgium 3. Down Payment Blues 4. Sink the Pink 5. Evil Walks (tied) w/ Two's Up
1.- Night Prowler 2.- Two's up 3.- Walk all over You 4- Rock n' Roll singer 5.- Shake you foundations 6.- Sink the Pink 7.- Rocker 8.- Are you ready 9.- The razors edge 10.- Rock and roll ain't Noise Polution
What's next to the moon, Touch too much and Overdose are all great songs, so glad to hear you guys pick them! If i'm gonna pick five songs that you did not, they would be: Ain't no fun - Bon reflecting on the rock n roll life in a very under-appreciated song. Gone shootin' - Wonderful groove, almost a little funky. Night prowler - Bon's vocals on this song gives me chills, really ominous and the bluesy guitar works so well. Maybe my favorite AC/DC song. Evil walks - Explosive intro and a very memorable chorus. Deserves more atteniton IMO. Burnin' alive - I love how it builds and that melodic riff is just so good.
I don't believe much of the Bon era songs are deep cuts so here is my list. 1. Night of the Long Knives 2. Bedlam In Belgium 3. Two's Up 4. The Furor 5. Stormy May Day
5. Shake a Leg 4. Overdose 3. Squealer 2. Love Hungry Man 1. What's Next to the Moon I was going to do all Bon, but I had to include "Shake a Leg". It should always be played back-to-back with "Have a Drink on Me" just like "Waitin' for the Bus/Jesus Just Left Chicago," "We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions" and "Heartbreaker/Living Loving Maid (She's Just a Woman)"
Can't argue with any of those but so many to choose from!. First band I ever saw in 1978 on the If You Want Blood Tour so Bon will always be my favourite. Also One of my favourite ever tracks is the alternative version of We Will Rock You (The Fast Version) recorded for John Peel Show on BBC Radio in 1977 and on RUclips. Brilliant.
The original TNT and Dirty Deeds albums were huge in Australia. It's a long Way & High Voltage singles charted in the top in Australia in 1975, cementing their legend status in Australia. Pretty much every australian bloke had a copy of TNT.
1. Baby please don’t go (off 75 high voltage, not the international one from 76. Wasn’t internationally released until ‘74 Jailbreak EP that came out in 1984) 2. Crabsody in Blue (everywhere except usa, Japan, and Canada had this on the original vinyl of Let There Be Rock instead of Problem Child) 3. School days (on the Australia only 2nd album TNT. One of only two songs on the album that wasn’t included on the international released High Voltage the following year. School Days wasn’t internationally released until Bonfire in 1997) 4. This means war (nothing special here, just an awesome track off Flick of the Switch) 5. Shot down in flames (again, nothing special, just a Great song)
5. Ballbreaker (Great riff, love the kinky lyrics) 4. The Razor's Edge (It so heavy!!) 3. Big Gun (it was an MTV hit at the time, but it's unfortunately been largely forgotten because it wasn't on an AC/DC album 2. Ride On (An uncharacteristic blue ballad that so good) 1. Rock N Roll Singer (and I'm all ears....)
Flick of the Switch is a killer album. I bought it for my 13th birthday in 1983 and I wore out the tape by playing it over and over. I will never understand the hatred surrounding that album. Every song on Highway to Hell is a classic. I love every tune! Without AC/DC, I wound not have fallen in love with metal and hard rock. I have seen about 100 concerts in my life and it began with hearing Back In Black when I was almost 10 years old.
5 deep cut I love from AC/DC would be 5. Can I sit next to you girl (high voltage) 4. That's the way I wanna rock n roll (blow up your video) 3. Give it up (stiff upper lip) 2. Caught with your pants down (ballbreaker) 1. Two's up (blow up your video)
Great vid guys! Love all of the selections. Here's mine 1. Touch To Much - Highway To Hell 2. War Machine - Black Ice 3. If You Dare - Razor's Edge 4. Twos Up - Blow Up Your Video 5. Burnin' Alive - Ballbreaker
I know this is meant to be a deep dive show, but watching Pete and Martin talk about the band just reminded me of how I've always struggled with Brian Johnson. I first listened to AC/DC in 1977 and still remember when a mate came to school with a black armband the day after Bon died. Johnson is a decent pub "shouter" whereas Bon was a real rock singer and rock star. Bon era songs have wit, charm and humour....imho they lost that once Bon left us. I agree with Martin about Touch too Much, and Pete about Overdose.
- Ain‘t no fun... - Overdose - Night Prowler - Bedlam in Belgium F.o.t.s. is so underrated !!! - Two‘s Up Touch too much was a charting Single in Germany , got a 7“ & 12“ Of this...
For Me 1 Rock n Roll Singer off Tnt 2 Squealer off Dirty Deeds 3 Overdose off Let There Be Rock 4 Down Payment Blues off Powerage 5 Badlam in Belguim off Flick of The Switch - I love Touch too Much as well a guy in these comments said its was a single in France etc so wont include it - Back in Business is a Great one too Flick of The Switch is a Great Album and I like the Blow Up Your Video Album hahaha
Love at First Feel - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap Can I Sit Next To You Girl - High Voltage Down Payment Blues - Powerage Love Hungry Man - Highway to Hell Shake a Leg - Back in Black

1. Walk All Over You 2. Bedlam In Belgium 3. Dog Eat Dog 4. Burnin' Alive 5. Maybe having a video disqualifies but Hail Caesar has Angus Young as Forrest Gump.
hi both ... good one 👍🏻 ... funnily enough Touch Too Much has always been my fave track of AC/ DC ... and have to be in a certain mood to listen to them lol 🎸🎶🎸
The second vocal on What’s Next to the Moon is Malcolm.. My deep cuts top 5: 1. Gimme a Bullet 2. Soul Stripper 3. Overdose 4. Badlands 5. Burning Alive
The Pearsinator True, but it was never a live staple after their 1983 Tour. And I’m not sure if the song is still played regulary. But then let me change GforH to Badlands of the same album. Love that song too.
Of all the major hard rock bands, AC/DC have probably more great deep cuts than any other band. I want to feature both singers, so picked 3 from Bon and 2 from Brian. 1 There's Gonna Be Some Rockin' 2 Overdose 3 Up To My Neck In You 4 Rising Power 5 Spoiling for A Fight But there are so many hidden gems within their catalogue.
My Top Five- in no particular order : Ain't No Fun ( Waitin' round to be a millionaire), Squealer, Flick Of The Switch, Gimme a Bullet , Overdose. Honourable mentions for Bedlam in Belgium, Two's Up ,Down on the Borderline and Big Gun.
A great show guys! Rock or Bust may not have been Black Ice level, but I was still happy to have new stuff from them. Malcolm will always be one of the greatest for me, he is missed.
Flick of the switch album..badass Walk all over you...very underrated tough song..over touch too much Back in buisness..great deep cut..one of my faves
Razor's Edge title track is among my favorites for sure! Continues to be on regular rotation for me since the album came out. Very true that Flick and Fly get too much flack. They are solid!
Wow, the first two people I see on youtube who love Flick of the switch. AC/DC is not for me and I don't know what it is but love this album. My AC/DC friends back then thought I'm crazy. I give you 5 songs I like : Nick of time Shake your foundation Landslide Spellbound Go down (the singer is bad but the song is cool) Martin is always a great guest! Pete, the sound at a drive in concert is as good as your car stereo.
I have a hard time with this as the B side stuff is my favorite stuff from AC/DC so I don't consider it deep cuts, it's the stuff on my playlist. Do yourself a favor, listen to the stuff that don't get radio play and you will find AC/DC is one of the best bands of all time. The stuff on the radio just has been played to death. That said, In no particular order: Give me a Bullet To Bite ON Ain't No Fun (Waiting 'Round to be a Millionaire) Can I Sit Next to You Night Prowler Breaking The Rules Can't Stop Rock N Roll Giving The Dog A Bone Soul Stripper Rock Your Heart Out Badlands There are a ton more but I went' well over 5 and stopped.
There's an early recording of them just before the track starts where you can hear them in the background singing a traditional Glaswegian song 'Oh you cannae throw you Grannie off a bus.' That's my choice!
My picks. 5 from each era. Bon era first. 1. What's Next To The Moon 2. Love Hungry Man 3. Crabsody in Blue 4. Ain't no fun. 5. Kicked in the Teeth. Brian era. 1. Landslide 2. Stormy May Day 3. Twos Up 4. The Honey Roll 5. No Man's Land
1. Riff Raff - Powerage 2. Shake a leg - BNB 3. Walk all over you- HTH 4. Love hungry man- HTH 5. Beatin around the Bush- HTH 6. Fire your guns- Razors 7. Evil walks - FTATR 8. Rock n roll singer- HV 9. Danger - Fly 10. Dirty eyes (became whole lotta rosie)- Box set 11. Guns for hire- FOTS 12. Ain't no fun - DD 13. War machine- Blk ice
"Night Prowler" was so fundamental to my personal appreciation of early AC-DC that is is hard to consider it a deep cut. But it is a deep cut in the larger scheme of things, and I nominate it as the best of the deep cuts.
I've no idea what Pete and Martin have picked as I shall watch later but for now my picks are Rising Power I Put The Finger On You Dog Eat Dog Gone Shooting Get It Hot
I was once thinking that Get It Hot was a deep cut dive, and thought I was the only one liking it, and then it came on the radio the same week I was thinking about it! Anyway, here are my five deep cuts: Night Of The Long Knives Down Payment Blues RIP (Rock In Peace) Rock Your Heart Out Crabsody In Blue
Touch Too Much is my favorite AC/DC song, too. Cool pick, Martin! Anyway, here's my list in chron. order: "Gone Shootin'" from Powerage "Touch Too Much" from Highway To Hell (This was actually a single, but it feels deep to me.) "Badlands" from Flick Of The Switch (Angus plays slide guitar on this!) "Hell or High Water" from Fly On The Wall "Damned" from Stiff Upper Lip Thanks, Martin & Pete!
One of my favorite bands ever. I've always been partial to the Brian Johnson era but boy do I love Highway to Hell. Here are my picks: Night Prowler Badlands Stand Up Two's Up (very different song for AC/DC. It's got this somber, serious tone never heard before or since with this band.) Burnin' Up
Used to watch AC/DC in local pub when they were unknown outside of Australia. They used to drive from Sydney to Perth to go to play gigs, just under 4000km and I lived in a country town about halfway. Can't understand why it has no hits
My 5 favorite AC/DC deep cuts:
- This House Is on Fire
- Walk All Over You
- Kicked in the Teeth
- Sink the Pink
- Givin the Dog a Bone
Walk All Over You is my favorite AC/DC song
Walk all over you is fantastic! I love how it starts out slow and then speed up
A mix of all eras of the band
1. Down Payment Blues
2. Snowballed
3. This House is On Fire
4. First Blood
5. All Screwed Up
Stormy May Day rocks.
"Rock 'n' Roll Singer" from "TNT" (1975)
"Beating Around the Bush" from "Highway to Hell" (1979)
"Snowballed" from "For Those About to Rock We Salute You" (1981)
"C.O.D." from "For Those About to Rock We Salute You" (1981)
"Rising Power" from "Flick of the Switch" (1983)
Off the top of my head:
-Squealer
-Rock n Roll Singer
-Overdose
-Cold Hearted Man
-Baptism by Fire (I think Rock or Bust is their best album post Razors Edge)
Cold Hearted Man is a great choice, pretty obscure now as it isn't featured on some versions of the Powerage album.
About the vocal on "Whats next to the Moon", is actually Malcolm that sings along with Bon. Always thought this was one of the best things about this song.
Overdose, Love Hungry Man, Soul Stripper, Two's Up, and Mistress For Christmas. Anything from Powerage is GOLD!

Here are mine
1 squealer
2 Overdose
3 Gone shootin
4 Night prowler
5 Rising power

4. Walk All Over You
5. Deep in the Hole
6. Go Down
7. Got You by the Balls
8. Gimme a Bullet
9. Up to My Neck in You
10. Ain't No Fun (Waiting 'Round to Be a Millionaire
Yep! Touch too much is not a valid deep cut - More of a light paper cut.
You're so right about Touch Too Much
That's what I thought. When Popoff claimed it, I was thinking I was crazy because I could recall hearing it was very big.
Since you said "Touch Too Much" isn't deep, I'll point out that "Shot Down in Flames" was in full radio rotation across the US when HTH was released.
1. Little lover - High Voltage
2. Kicked in the teeth - Powerage
3. In the badlands - Flick of the Switch
4. The Furor - Ballbreaker
5. Stormy May Day - Black Ice
"Ain't No Fun Waiting Round To Be A Millionaire" is a killer deep cut, in my mind. "Dog Eat Dog" too.
Touch Too Much is classic AC/DC and was released as a single in the U.K , Germany and France
Yes definitely not a deep cut. They even played it with axl rose.
My Top 5:
- Got You By The Balls (The Razor's Edge)
- Love Hungry Man (Highway To Hell)
- Can't Stand Still (Stiff Upper Lip)
- Bedlam In Belgium(Flick Of The Switch)
- Burnin' Alive (Ballbreaker)
Whether it's a deep cut or not the most under-appreciated AC/DC song ever is 'Rising Power'. Probably the best "deep album" too - if there's such a thing at all.
I love that song and I love that album
Flick of the Switch rules
Yeah, love Rising Power, I picked that too. I think Flick of The Switch is one of the most under appreciated albums in their catalogue.
For me its Guns For Hire or Badlands. I love Flick Of The Switch

All mine come from bon scott era.
1 Down payment blues
2 overdose
3 gone shooting
4 go down
5 ride on.

Honorable: C.O.D.
5) Overdose ~ Let There Be Rock
4) Badlands ~ Flick Of The Switch
3) Breaking The Rules ~ For Those About To Rock
2) Soul Stripper ~ '74 Jailbreak
1) Little Lover ~ High Voltage (contains the longest pregnant pause on a studio cut in recorded history! )
My five dearest deep cuts:
1. Overdose
2. Squealer
3. Down Payment Blues
4. Ride On
5. Up To My Neck In You
Saw AC/DC on 24 Sept. 1976, opening for Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow-Concert (That's what the ticket says). So yes, Bon Scott singing, Angus in his school uniform, and they indeed did a great opening for the evening. Named my first band after their album High Voltage (Yes, we were the first using this name as a band name way back in 1976)
1. Down payment Blues
2. Night Prowler
3. Whisky on the rocks
4: nervous shakedown
5. Stormy May Day
This is my favourite band of all time...from my head...my cuts;
. Live Wire.
.she Got balls.
. Squelaer.
. Kicked in the teeth.
. Gone Shootin.
. Touch too much.
. Let me put my love into you.
. Spellbound.
. Guns for Hire
. Razors Edge.
. Furor.
Good call "The Forur", everytime I listen to Ballbreaker I forget how good it is. I also really like "Hail Caesar"
Thank you....i loved this show...
Overdose and touch too much: Bon and the band at their best!!!! Bedlam in Belgium : of course, my native country 😜
Black Sabbath and AC/DC are my two favorite bands of all time. What a massive catalog of classics. My top 5 deep cuts:
Dog Eat Dog - Let There Be Rock
Kicked in the Teeth - Powerage
Beating Around The Bush - Highway To Hell
C.O.D. - For Those About To Rock
Got You By The Balls - The Razor's Edge
I love AC/DC. Done it for 40 years now. And thanks guys. Great show. Great deep cut picks.
I have that exact same shirt Pete has on in this video. "Ballbreaker" is definitely one of their most underrated albums.
"Crabsody in Blue" (Let There be Rock)...hilarious!!!
YES!!! Love that song. Glad someone else put it
Saw them at, Reading Festival in the 70’s and lucky enough to see Bon Scott with the band, showing my age now.
Great show! Will play my AC/DC albums all weekend
RIP Pete Way bass player in UFO
Overdose - Let There Be Rock
What’s Next To The Moon? - Powerage
Spellbound - For Those About to Rock
This House Is On Fire - Flick of the Switch
Playing With Girls - Fly on the Wall
Dude, Whats Next to the Moon!!! Nice!!
Spaghetti Lee Oh ya Man, killer track.
Two's Up (BUYV): killer interweaving guitars
Squealer (DD): high water mark performance from Bon
It's a Long Way to the Top (HV): awesome bagpipes
Ride On (DD): hypnotic slow burn blues
Overdose (live versions from Bonfire box): mind blowing jams
I do remember watching this episode now, but I don't believe I left a comment regarding it. My Top 5 Deep Cut songs from AC/DC are:
1. Spellbound
2. Bedlam In Belgium
3. Down Payment Blues
4. Sink the Pink
5. Evil Walks (tied) w/ Two's Up
1.- Night Prowler
2.- Two's up
3.- Walk all over You
4- Rock n' Roll singer
5.- Shake you foundations
6.- Sink the Pink
7.- Rocker
8.- Are you ready
9.- The razors edge
10.- Rock and roll ain't Noise Polution
One of my favorite DEEEP AC/DC songs is from The Last Action Hero soundtrack is Big Gun...... LOVE THAT SONG
I love Big gun too, really good song!
What's next to the moon, Touch too much and Overdose are all great songs, so glad to hear you guys pick them!
If i'm gonna pick five songs that you did not, they would be:
Ain't no fun - Bon reflecting on the rock n roll life in a very under-appreciated song.
1. Night of the Long Knives
2. Bedlam In Belgium
3. Two's Up
4. The Furor
5. Stormy May Day
5. Shake a Leg
4. Overdose
3. Squealer
2. Love Hungry Man
1. What's Next to the Moon
I was going to do all Bon, but I had to include "Shake a Leg".
Brilliant.
@@dukeh620 You're a great American. Nov. will be YUGE!
Wish we had someone with Trumps balls in charge in England!
1. Down payment blues
2. Meltdown
3. Go down
4. Gone shootin
5. Fire your guns
The original TNT and Dirty Deeds albums were huge in Australia. It's a long Way & High Voltage singles charted in the top in Australia in 1975, cementing their legend status in Australia. Pretty much every australian bloke had a copy of TNT.
Top 10. Bloody Numbers lock!
Overdose, Down Payment Blues, and Spellbound all are A tier AC/DC
I forgot Spellbound! Great tune!
1. Baby please don’t go (off 75 high voltage, not the international one from 76. Wasn’t internationally released until ‘74 Jailbreak EP that came out in 1984)
2. Crabsody in Blue (everywhere except usa, Japan, and Canada had this on the original vinyl of Let There Be Rock instead of Problem Child)
3. School days (on the Australia only 2nd album TNT. One of only two songs on the album that wasn’t included on the international released High Voltage the following year. School Days wasn’t internationally released until Bonfire in 1997)
4. This means war (nothing special here, just an awesome track off Flick of the Switch)
5. Shot down in flames (again, nothing special, just a Great song)
Yeah, that 'baby please don't go' is fucking incredible..'crabsody'made my list...
I don’t think ‘Shot Down In Flames’ classifies as a deep cut, but ‘Baby Please Don’t Go’ is a great choice!
My Top 5,
1. Down Payment Blues
2. Walk All Over You
3. Bedlam In Belgium
4. Shake your Foundation (Remix Version On Who Made Who)
5. Inject The Venom
1. Soul Stripper 2. Overdose 3.Gimme a Bullet 4. The Furor 5.Squealer.
Had your 2 and 5. Dropped your 1 for another.
5. Ballbreaker (Great riff, love the kinky lyrics)
4. The Razor's Edge (It so heavy!!)
3. Big Gun (it was an MTV hit at the time, but it's unfortunately been largely forgotten because it wasn't on an AC/DC album
2. Ride On (An uncharacteristic blue ballad that so good)
Can I sit next to you girl (high voltage)
4. That's the way I wanna rock n roll (blow up your video)
3. Give it up (stiff upper lip)
2. Caught with your pants down (ballbreaker)
1. Two's up (blow up your video)
Great vid guys! Love all of the selections. Here's mine
1. Touch To Much - Highway To Hell
2. War Machine - Black Ice
3. If You Dare - Razor's Edge
4. Twos Up - Blow Up Your Video
5. Burnin' Alive - Ballbreaker
Thank you for your Deep Cut Dive: AC/DC (w/ Martin Popoff).🎤🎸🎵🥁
BIG GUN! Last Action Hero Movie
1. Go Down
2. Up to My Neck in You
3. Landslide
4. Spellbound
5. Ain't no fun Waiting round to be a Millionaire
Bon was great for the time he was there
Love the Ballbreaker shirt Pete. A seriously underrated album from them.
Probably my favorite album by ACDC. Or Fly on the wall
The first AC/DC album I owned on CD! I still love it!!!
Beatin around the bush, Squealer, Ride On and I would have to say number one is Love Hungry Man, don't know why more don't love it.
- Ain‘t no fun...
- Overdose
- Night Prowler
- Bedlam in Belgium F.o.t.s. is so underrated !!!
- Two‘s Up
Touch too much was a charting Single in Germany , got a 7“ & 12“ Of this...
Excellent!!! More with Martin please!!!!
Here are some of my picks:
1. Fire Your Guns
2. Touch Too Much
3. Breaking the Rules
4. Rising Power
5. Kicked In The Teeth
Best list here
For Me 1 Rock n Roll Singer off Tnt 2 Squealer off Dirty Deeds 3 Overdose off Let There Be Rock 4 Down Payment Blues off Powerage 5 Badlam in Belguim off Flick of The Switch - I love Touch too Much as well a guy in these comments said its was a single in France etc so wont include it - Back in Business is a Great one too Flick of The Switch is a Great Album and I like the Blow Up Your Video Album hahaha
Touch too Much is my favorite AC/DC song. Always loved Downpayment Blues as well.
Love at First Feel - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
Can I Sit Next To You Girl - High Voltage
Down Payment Blues - Powerage
Love Hungry Man - Highway to Hell
Shake a Leg - Back in Black
It stands!
Some of mine
5. Walk All Over You
4. Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be
3. Night Prowler
2. Ride On
1. Rock N Roll Singer
INJECT THE VENOM / 1981 is 💯 UNREAL!!!!!
My deep cuts top 5:
1. Gimme a Bullet
2. Soul Stripper
3. Overdose
4. Badlands
1 There's Gonna Be Some Rockin'
2 Overdose
3 Up To My Neck In You
4 Rising Power
5 Spoiling for A Fight
But there are so many hidden gems within their catalogue.
Ride On, Sink The Pink, Shake Your Foundation, all from Who Made Who. My fav AC/DC album. Let Me Cut Your Cake.
Flick Of The Switch is my 2nd favorite Album Post Bon Scott.
Flick of the switch album..badass
Walk all over you...very underrated tough song..over touch too much
Back in buisness..great deep cut..one of my faves
Razor's Edge title track is among my favorites for sure! Continues to be on regular rotation for me since the album came out.
Very true that Flick and Fly get too much flack. They are solid!
Was a massive fan when i was a kid, but never listen anymore. But, i love you and Martin and im gonna watch the entire video.
Wow, the first two people I see on youtube who love Flick of the switch. AC/DC is not for me and I don't know what it is but love this album. My AC/DC friends back then thought I'm crazy. I give you 5 songs I like :
Nick of time
Shake your foundation
Landslide
Spellbound
Go down (the singer is bad but the song is cool)
Martin is always a great guest!
That said, In no particular order:
Give me a Bullet To Bite ON
Ain't No Fun (Waiting 'Round to be a Millionaire)
Can I Sit Next to You
Night Prowler
Breaking The Rules
Can't Stop Rock N Roll
Giving The Dog A Bone
Soul Stripper
Rock Your Heart Out
Badlands
There are a ton more but I went' well over 5 and stopped.
Agreed. My favorite bands are often based on the deep cuts, not the radio/concert staples.
1. Overdose
2. Boogie Man
3. Landslide
4. Ain't No Fun (Waiting 'Round to be a Millionaire)
5. Love Song
Brilliant show love AC/DC really enjoyed it 👍🏼🏴🤟
There's an early recording of them just before the track starts where you can hear them in the background singing a traditional Glaswegian song 'Oh you cannae throw you Grannie off a bus.' That's my choice!
Rising Power, Ride On, Evil Walks, Anything Goes and Guns For Hire
My picks. 5 from each era. Bon era first.
1. What's Next To The Moon
2. Love Hungry Man
3. Crabsody in Blue
4. Ain't no fun.
5. Kicked in the Teeth.
Brian era.
1. Landslide
2. Stormy May Day
3. Twos Up
4. The Honey Roll
5. No Man's Land
1. Riff Raff - Powerage
2. Shake a leg - BNB
3. Walk all over you- HTH
4. Love hungry man- HTH
5. Beatin around the Bush- HTH
6. Fire your guns- Razors
7. Evil walks - FTATR
8. Rock n roll singer- HV
9. Danger - Fly
10. Dirty eyes (became whole lotta rosie)- Box set
11. Guns for hire- FOTS
12. Ain't no fun - DD
13. War machine- Blk ice
"Night Prowler" was so fundamental to my personal appreciation of early AC-DC that is is hard to consider it a deep cut. But it is a deep cut in the larger scheme of things, and I nominate it as the best of the deep cuts.
Touch Too Much is no deep cut in my opinion. In Germany this is the single of AC-DC which reached the best chart placement (#13) ever.
That's why it's played on my local rock radio! I'm from Germany btw
Agreed!
I live in the US and I've never heard it on the radio.
Flick of the Switch is my favorite AC/DC album. So glad to see it get some love on this show.
1. Love Song
2. Dirty Eyes
3. Love At First Feel
4. Gimme A Bullet
5. Touch Too Much
One of my favorite bands. Great post.
I've no idea what Pete and Martin have picked as I shall watch later but for now my picks are
Rising Power
I Put The Finger On You
Dog Eat Dog
Gone Shooting
Get It Hot
I was once thinking that Get It Hot was a deep cut dive, and thought I was the only one liking it, and then it came on the radio the same week I was thinking about it!
Anyway, here are my five deep cuts:
Night Of The Long Knives
Down Payment Blues
RIP (Rock In Peace)
Rock Your Heart Out
Crabsody In Blue
Ha! I LOVE 'get it hot' particularly the verse sections...made my list!Your right tho, never ever heard anybody mention that song ever...
I'd say it's definitely a deep cut. Not a single, not on a live album nor a greatest hits (or soundtrack in AC/DC's case).
Touch Too Much is my favorite AC/DC song, too. Cool pick, Martin! Anyway, here's my list in chron. order:
"Gone Shootin'" from Powerage
"Touch Too Much" from Highway To Hell (This was actually a single, but it feels deep to me.)
"Badlands" from Flick Of The Switch (Angus plays slide guitar on this!)
"Hell or High Water" from Fly On The Wall
"Damned" from Stiff Upper Lip
Thanks, Martin & Pete!
One of my favorite bands ever. I've always been partial to the Brian Johnson era but boy do I love Highway to Hell. Here are my picks:
Night Prowler
Badlands
Stand Up
Two's Up (very different song for AC/DC. It's got this somber, serious tone never heard before or since with this band.)
Burnin' Up
