- This rider failed to stop for enforcers and then turned around and took a side street after seeing more enforcers ahead.
He wasn't able to escape because his path was blocked by a parked motorcycle.
Instead of a simple ticket for substandard helmet, his license was confiscated and he's been submitted to attend a seminar.
The SO-ACU, team under Bong, also towed and ticketed many vehicles for illegal parking.
This operation was in coordination with the MTPB, meaning local ordinances and MOAs would be respected

Please visit abad Santos ave between solis st and tecson st. Both south bound and north bound. Specially front of ospital ng tondo. Many illegal parking and obstruction. Tricycles , motorcycles, cars. That's why most of the time traffic in that area. Specially during rush hour. After the clearing operations, they go back to park again.

The jails would be filled pretty quickly. Because they encounter that kind of rider multiple times, every day.
Just try to do an operation on the EDSA bus lane.. you need 15+ enforcers, plus big bikes to chase, because of all the riders that refuse to stop.

How about if the city converts Old bldg. to a paid parking garage.
There are paid parking lots that still have space.
Most people can't the convenience of parking directly in front of their home.
And it's cheaper to pay a city parking attendant to park on the road or sidewalk instead of using a proper parking lot 🤷♂️

in metro manila, almost all public streets are garage. road widening is basically garage widening. even the area around mmda office in guadalupe. certain streets are closed or one-way only to give way for a garage.
they should dissolved MTPB and transfer all personnel to MMDA if they can't control manila's traffic and parking. all I hear about MTPB are apprehending beating yellow light and turning right that have dedicated right turn lane on it.
Ang dami niyan sa pasay especially moa, roxas blvd, buendia. Walangga plate numbers, so most likely wala rin license. Pati mga tricycles sa pasay.

Pinoy society as a whole. The mindset is stuck and apathetic constantly looking for short-term immediate gains while not wanting to work for it. Pinoys love saying they want a leader with "an iron-fist" but if you watch these videos they get mad the minute anyone enforces anything on them and start crying foul.

They already know that you need to wear a helmet, proper shoes, and DRIVERS LICENSE! I personally know people na gagastos muna para sa birthday pang handa instead of spending it towards a proper drivers license or proper gear. "Bahala na si Batman" mentality. Its good they are enforcing this stuff.
I'm curious to know, how much is the cost for a vehicle in the towing compound? I'm only seeing the rates from towed location to a compound, but not the rate for the duration of a vehicle in the compound.
all i know is if the vehicle is in impound for too long, it will get auctioned off.

I think that MMDA should have a meeting with Mayor-Elect Honey Lacuna to resolve the parking issues in Manila. Obviously, MTPB is lacking on implementation on these kinds of traffic concerns.
I'd be surprised if anything changes. It's been like this for many mayor's already.
It's a big money maker for the city and for those who know how to get a MOA.
Remember the video I made before, about the guy that paid a couple hundred thousand to the City for a MOA, to turn a certain road into paid parking.
Then he charged business owners and visitors for parking on that road.
The roads and sidewalks were turned into a huge business.

One question: When they apprehend helmet and dress code violations for motorcycles, do they ask for registration? I only ever see them ask for the license.
If there's no plate, they'll ask for the OR/CR.
If there is a plate, sometimes they'll ask for the OR/CR and sometimes they won't.

The toda that allow drivers with expired or no license to be member of there association supposed to be punshied as well. This is alarming that most of the trycycle driver apprehended have no license. This is like on going for years now and still happening

They should SPRAY A RED PAINT IN A CURVE MEANS NO PARKING... IF ITS GREEN MEANS 15 MINS PARKING ONLY IF ITS WHITE MEANS LOADING AND UNLOADING ONLY AND METER PARKING EVERY 20 PESOS 20 MINUTES. I accidentally drive may card during my coding it was accident and the MTPB who caught me told me that the driving license will be confiscate and collect from cityhall. Is that correct? As I know MMDA don’t confiscate instead only ticket. But MPTB aside giving u a ticket they also take your license
Most LGU enforcement agencies will confiscate the license, to force people to pay their penalties.
Their authority for this comes from a local ordinance.
That's why some cities have 90%+ payment ratios, compared to mmda which is significantly worse.
You must obey the law.

Also the term no one is gonna invest on a parking lot. Its not really true. A lot of people want to get a parking lot. A lot can afford to buy a lot even if its overinflated in price. Problem is nobody is selling. Government should intervene and make like pay parking areas for all.

No one plans cities in Metro Manila, they just became cities because of the population and jobs that were created at the time... Only a few regions are really organized like Pasig City, Makati, Manila Proper,Mandaluyong,Taguig etc.
Alot of areas in Metro Manila are still province-like, where I grew up has the same urban development as Metro Manila but it's still classified as a province in Calabarzon, despite having enough people and revenue to become a City...
