You are amazing! Your dogged determination is inspiring! I’d graft in some ZL-1 Factory Style flairs and put some round headlights with Greenwood plexiglass covers to finish off the road beast vibe. ( but that’s just me, though.😂) Keep up the Top Shelf work, can’t wait to see the body on it! 👏👍😎🇺🇸
@@Jabbernack Thanks! Yeah flares and the Greenwood style look gets would be cool haha. I have some plans for the headlights that I think will be pretty cool and unique. Appreciate the support
I used the the Vansteel fibreglass rear spring on my 1970 it’s a lot lighter than the original one. I also used there offset trailing arm so I could fit wider rear tires. For better handling I also used their rear sway bar and their 6 link suspension upgrade. I like your 2 tone colour scheme on your chassis.
@@stephenjolly6906 Yeah I’ve heard that about the monoleafs. I installed the longer spring hanger bolts to hopefully give me a little more adjustment. How does yours ride? I hear pretty good things about them
@@xXBocephusXxI find the fibreglass spring superior to the old steel spring giving a quite compliant ride. Trouble with steel leaf springs they rely on the leafs sliding on each other. As they age and corrode they can start to bind giving a noisy and not a smooth operation. When I restored my 1970 C3 I did a number of upgrades including Wilwood brakes, rack and pinion steering, 18” rims with 245 front and 275 rear tires, rear sway bar and 6 link rear suspension. My Corvette apart from the wheels looks like a 70 C3 but drives like a modern car. For me it was a restomod rather than a restoration so build it the way you want. Love watching your videos keep them coming.
@@stephenjolly6906 Awesome! Your 70 sounds like a sweet car. I’m definitely building mine how I want and trying my best to make sure my work is good quality. Thanks for the support!
@@MrCbell57 Yep I was. I made a custom rear spoiler/tail lamp panel using the foam and drywall compound. It was just a plug so I could make a mold. The final part is made from fiberglass and epoxy resin. You can see all that in my previous episodes
Absolutely amazing! You’re attention to detail is incredible. Thank you for sharing your build!
@@mikepitts6700 Thanks!
I can already tell this one’s gonna be a beauty when done👍
@@Gectms thanks, I hope so

Were you really using easy sand drywall plaster on the rear of your corvette in an earlier episode? Can you explain that to me.
