Namaste, friends! We want to make clear that this video should only serve as a warning to others about these situations and in no way reflects on the beautiful people of Nepal. These kind of things can and do happen across the world and 99.9% of Nepali people look after foreigners as though they are family. Important to note, also, that the situation could have been far worse and as you will see by watching to the end, there is a happy ending to it all.
Mate, please don’t feel low about what you went through! Take it easy, few people aren’t blessed with proper education and i don’t fully blame them for that. Many are deprived from getting proper education due to financial issues. Even us a domestic local tourist have been scammed, but it’s likely foreigners are scammed more. I hope my nation people are getting conscious on that day by day and your video really help us to warn our locals not to do so. Please enjoy the place and I guess we loved your video. So sorry for the disappointment guys, but, the place that microbus left u is actually where every microbuses go by. There is no direct bus to reach bandipur, except a bery few.. probably 1 or two. so, mostly we have to ride another local bus to reach to the top of Bandipur village side (but, they lied there, or they didnt realize the actual bandipur or way to bandipur)! Thank you, we hope so too!
U r right bro
@@adamandyaz be 100% sure it was not a scam man. Language barrier. Im Nepali I know it is not a scam and I hate scammers.
@@arjunkc3227 the guy literally said to our taxi driver that he was going DIRECT INTO Bandipur after the taxi driver said it wasn’t. I’m sorry my friend, but it wasn’t just language barrier
@@adamandyaz oh okay I was just assuming based on it happens frequently. I was not there so you know better. Namaste
That's not going to happen to you here in the Philippines but in terms of taxis, there are those who overprice.
Thank You Adam & Yaz i got Room Key . Thank You Very Much Have a Wonderfull Trip ..
Yay! Thank you Roshan for a lovely stay 😃
You should visit Taplejung located in eastern part of nepal guys
Love the option to sit upstairs! That's so cool. When we visited Greece it was like that too. That food looked so so delicious. Sarah hates the skin on her tea 😂
There are a lot of scammers in Nepal. Even we Nepalese get scammed sometimes. Stay safe.
Actually it’s not a scam the main reason is that if u want to travel by bus from Pokhara to bandipur then u must go the the bus stand at morning if u don’t then u have to take the local bus or local vehicle near to the area and from there u can walk or take a cab to your near hotels m..there’s a misunderstanding and miscommunication between you and them so take is lightly have a wonderful time guys
you should search for gaijatra in bhaktapur in your youtube
@Adam&Yaz i know that incident at dumre and i show u guys where u can get bus for bandipur..
It would be better if you say namaste Hajur/dhanyabaad hajur to the Nepalese people 😛 It will sound good 🥰not a namaste ji😁 No offense anyway 🥰 Hope you guys are having fun out there👏 love from nepal 🇳🇵
I like the whole vibe about you guys. Many RUclipsrs unfortunately seem quite rude but you guys take it chill even in bad situations. Sorry about the cheater bus fellows. But, this is what poverty does to you.
That bus window & door issue was hilarious. Well, quite a solution to open the door while the bus is running but it solved the air problem. Now that (intended) misinformation is not fun at all. Just charge it to learning experience. Nonetheless, the destination view is very nice and beautiful. Reminds me of Mount Mayon Volcano ⛰️ Thanks for bringing us there. Watching from SF CA 🇺🇲. 🇵🇭👍🇬🇧✌️🇳🇵
Learning experience, exactly my friend. Thank you for watching 🙏🏼
Hello guys! watching from Philippines.
And about chitwan, the jeeps cant go inside the national park actually, but just to the comunity forest side! Rhinos are frequent there, but, tigers are always just hopes because, its too near to the village! Warm from Chitwan guys!
It was a scam!! Drivers like them should be punished. If (hope not) something like that happen again, you can call the Traffic Control Helpline at 103, or for touristy place such as Kathmandu, Pokhara you can even contact Tourist Police at 1144
Nice video you guys are lovely.
taxi driver cheating on u was so embrassing but don"t worry 99%nepalese loves u both❤
Love from pokhara nepal
Just 20 days left for the biggest newari festival of kathmandu "Indra Jatra". Are you guys staying here to that day?
Wow , beautiful hotel ❤️❤️❤️
Language barrier ...bandipore could be in that transit where the bus stopped
I love the views 😍
How much was the hotel in POK and Bandipur?
Make a visit to rara Lake guys
For your kind information there isn’t any direct bus to bandipur but u have to change a bus from dumre that’s why 🫡.sorry for the inconvenience enjoy your trip to Nepal 🇳🇵
Sorry about that bus staff lied. I am from Nepal but we Nepalese still get lied about that kind of service in Nepal. And it is very usual and kind of normal in that part of world Nepal India. It is not good but they didn't scam you guys because you were tourists tourist we locals get scams like that quite often. They make very less money out of that journey. Pokhara to bandipur is about 70km however fare was Rs300 less than $2.50. I am not supporting them scamer bus staff however they need to do such scam just to make there living. Just trying to be in their boots. Enjoy Nepal and thank you for visiting. Namaste 🙏
haircut in such saloons costs only 150 btw ,99% of the barbers in nepal are indians and they always overcharge tourists
Nepal Villegas nice
Namaste mero bhai 🤣🤣🤣
its all about mis communication. there is no direct bus from pokhara to bandipur. anyway, enjoy guys....
plz try the newari food. It's choila dish is spicy
Guys when you're back in Ktm, I recommend you to visit Pashupatinath Temple, Durbar Squares, go to IndraChowk (Basantapur) for a famous lassi, try newari foods, juju dhau. (I'm afraid if you guys are vegan? Try vegan maybe😉, as I'm also `a vegetarian tryna be vegan´ 😅) Also go to Chandragiri Hills and Monkey temple (Swyambhunath) again😉. You've already been to Chitwan but maybe go to central zoo in Ktm if you wanna see tiger and other wild animals. Love from Chitwan❤️. I bloody love England and british people so much. They are my fav in the whole world. God bless!
Beautiful video
