Aston is very good I sang with her at church she writes her won songs as well I could tell she's obviously nervous because here in Louisiana everybody knows everybody so it's easy to sing it out

Luke more than anyone, wanted Laine to win ,from the start.
But all the judges were rooting for him.
You can see it on their faces, with each performance .
Laine makes you smile, forget about things, and feel things.
Anyone, no matter what age, can inspire you. Sometimes, it only takes a song.
And sometimes, it's that first line, or the sound of a voice, or the instrumentals, from the get go.
Sure wish she'd gone back again, she has such a beautiful gorgeous voice. On the other hand like she said, it wasn't her time n definitely Laine's time, so many ppl as I fell in love with his singing, he as a singer, etc, he's a natural in every way n so blessed. I love seeing how he's still singing today, I pray that he goes a long way in his career. I love how his beautiful family were there supporting him n no doubt are still there, God bless*
She's beautiful and sings well. Laine being there had nothing to do with her elimination, maybe next time. A true friendship would survive this. He did nothing wrong by competing against her. A true friend would be happy for Laine being advanced. I believe they are still good friends.

She could try again another year or on another show or try the more traditional route of singing in small venues for little to no money hoping to be discovered, maybe do something on the internet until she gets noticed. Eventually a change in attitude and a change of look can take her very far too. Laine went from an interesting prospect in 2018 to a possible future star in 2019 to one already in the making during the show. He gained confidence, he ditched the baseball cap, the jeans and the t-shirt and he slicked his hair and put on a suit. He looked like a star and carried himself as one. Maybe Ashton could do the same, keep getting better, gain confidence and act like a star.

Ashton Gill...... I hoped she would go farther than she did. She is gorgeous, and has a great voice. I do not believe it was her voice that got her out of the competition. Singing acapella really shows off how long you hold notes, whether that is good/bad/or indifferent. I think her nerves made her try to hard and sound like she was singing in a high school talent contest. She knows she has it in her, just needs her confidence like Laine did.
Of course Laine rocked it.
Ashton Shouldn't give up she's got an amazing Voice. Just needs to work the kinks out and she can be a Star

No she was pitchy and her notes were kinda all over the place and she was over doing them. Luke told her from the first audition to work on that because it’s hard to teach someone not to do that and she didn’t fix it.
