Hello, we are studying the water resource problem of Mexico City and have participated in the 2020IFLA International Landscape Design Competition for graduate students, and we have the honor to enter the final. The final is required to be presented in the form of video, most of which are dynamic expressions of our design drawings. At the same time, we sincerely hope that the current situation of water resources in this video can be quoted to help the judges understand the current situation of water resources in this city of Mexico. We sincerely hope to get your permission, and we will thank you very much

I'd the Aztecs only had known and killed them each time they got off the boats, history would be very different.

How would people armed with clubs, knives, and flint arrows successfully oppose the landing of people wearing plate armor and armed with muskets and cannons?

As a mexican it would be a tragic seeing mexico city sink all the way and it would be the worst and biggest hole in the world in the middle of the city

    Patrick meme comes to mind:
Take Mexico City and move it somewhere else!
Urban planning in Mexico City and pretty much everywhere else is sometimes not really well thought of. As someone who lives in Jalisco, the government turned the downtown area of Guadalajara into a "desert" there's barely any people living there now because they want businesses to rent out the buildings, so many of the structures are eroding and there's no one to look after them :C

No it will just create a flood and a hole and to fix the issue is to just drain the water again.
