The most fun I've ever seen the boys have on stage was Alpine Valley 2019 Sunday show. It was glorious seeing them have such a great time. Not to mention longest jam of the tour that night
I took a 2 year break from Phish and the first thing I noticed when I started listening to 2021 summer jams is how freakin good Fishman is playing. Also- the band sounds much tighter than '14-'20 (w/ the exception of 2015 where they were tight as hell).
I'd love it if they would just post up a cameraman on Fish for the whole show. It's like watching an old wizard, you wonder how he's so damn nimble while being a million years old. And he looks like he's having a blast. Bob Weaver for President 2024

Totally agree, I was at the show and recall loving that passage...the guitar tone/effects Trey uses is just amazing (anyone know how he achieved that???)..I believe they kinda called back this groove in Ass Handed (and several more times in the 2nd set)
