- In the video I am on the Island of St Lucia, at Marigot Bay. I walk to the pier and than I take a free ferry to the other side. I was driving back North on this day. I only stopped here to have a look and eat lunch.

I'm going to be in Marigot Bay in two weeks for a week long stay. And thanks to your great video I now know where to catch my ferry over and which beach chair I want! Really looking forward to staying at Oasis Marigot while exploring the island by car. I chose Marigot Bay as the home base because I was anchored there while sailing in Caribbean years ago. Never forgot this beautiful bay and promised myself to go back. Can't wait!

I was in Isla Mujeres July 2017 and again in dec2017. It's a tiny island 6 miles off the coast of Cancun , Mexico,,,,,check out Norte beach on Isla Mujeres,,,,,,I swam with the whale sharks are in July,, , sooooo amazing,

This is my favourite landmark in St. Lucia. Been past it 3 times on a boat and always wondered how I could possibly access that beautiful palm tree stretch.. - now I know! I shall look out for Captain Bobby when I return later this month. Stunning capture, Richard!
Can you actually walk on the palm stretch?
@@nicholesampson5750 yes, you can! Just take Captain Bobby's shuttle. He will drop you at Dolittle's and from there you can walk the stretch. If you had a drink or food at Dolittle's, you can use the sun beds, too. And there is an area where you can swim :-)
I love it there. I took that ferry at least 4 times a day going back and forth to my air B&B. Now hoping to own a retirement home there.

@@DBeautifulOne It was a house at Marigot Bay owned by a British man (John) and his wife. The little ferry boat drops you (first stop) at the waterfront restaurant which is part of the house. It was up for sale 5 years ago.
Paradise it is. I hear Neil Diamond Sweet Caroline playing, then Raggae, then Nas and back to Raggae....awesome!!!! Was Neil there because people cheering?¿? I see that coconut on 12:03!! Mannnn!!!! I want some fresh coconut.
St Lucia is simply gorgeous, though doesn't it seem strange how there aren't very many tourists on holiday during this time of year..
Most of the islands get more people when it is cold in the USA, Canada or Europe. Instead of going there for summer vacation, they go there to escape the cold. I know of a lot of Canadians that leave Canada for a long time every year when it is cold there. But, some islands like this were expecting a few more tourists because some of the other islands got hit by hurricanes. For example, I would have went to Sint Maarten and Anguilla this year, but they got hit by a hurricane this year, so I didn't visit them.
Yes sounds like it's St lucia is the problem NOT you gutter trash .Do the U.S a favor and stay in myrtle beach and drink your nati light there.
wish they did cater to English trash tastes, I'm English and live here and just cant get the food. Never seen evidence of it at all.
@@gregbennett9588 - you are the problem with the world. you are arrogant and expect the world to cater to you and you have a very narrow view of things. clearly there is local Caribbean cuisine available on the island as well as fine dining. people like you should not travel. you dont understand that it is about broadening your horizons.

I live in Marigot and its not owned by a resort its totally public, all beaches are public,, if the gentleman had taken more of the beach he would have seen the local vendors huts etc believe me this was taken out of season, if it had been season you would have seen a lot more local people around.

I was just looking at Marigot Bay on the map and didnt see any roads on the north side of the bay... so I was wondering how you get over there and your video showed me - water taxi/ferry.

I highly recommend Joy's Cruise - just google him. The best tour on the island. You can relax on the boat, Joy will take you snorkel and you will have great food at his house :-)

St Lucia Banks will not approve a Mortgage without 70%+ Downpayment…. Unfortunately this is why I will have to buy elsewhere

I've been here before. Doolittle is the name of the restaurant that you have to take a ferry to get to. There is a hotel behind the restaurant up the hill and it is the Marigot Resort.
So you need a ferry to get to Doolittle restaurant? Is the restaurant family friendly?
