I really like the photosynthesis playlist, it has helped me a lot! One question though, at 1:48, you say that the energy to excite electrons comes from UV light from the sun. But I was under the impression that a lot of photosynthesis pigments absorb in the visible region?
Yes you are right. P680 mostly absorbs at the red region of the visible light (680nm, hence the name P680) since chlorophyll can only absorb the red, far red, and blue regions of the visible light spectrum.
